OK GOP, with Katie Hobbs as SOS, it's time to walk in with the lawyers and start screaming 'ballot security' and 'chain of custody' loudly in the media, Maricopa county, and right to her face.
The Gov and AG need to be on point too. This is unacceptable BS.
They (election officials) had ONE damn job for the last two years. WTF man. Go back to hand counts for Christ's sake.
From the Philadelphia Inquirer:
City officials voted Tuesday morning — as polling places opened and the vote count began for the midterm elections — to reinstate a time consuming and labor-intensive process for catching double votes that will slow how quickly they can report results.
If Pennsylvania’s high-stakes U.S. Senate race is as close as expected, a wait for results out of the state’s largest city is sure to shine a national spotlight on Philadelphia, similar to after the 2020 presidential election.
The city commissioners, the three-member elections board, voted 2-1 to reinstate what is known as poll book reconciliation — a means of flagging mail ballots submitted by voters who also voted in person — during an emergency 7 a.m. meeting.
It was a sudden reversal of a decision they made less than a week ago and came a day after a city judge, responding to a Republican lawsuit, said they could move forward without the process.

DeSantis Pushes Back Against Biden DOJ Monitors Interfering in Florida's Election
JAVIER MANJARRES | NOVEMBER 8, 2022
The DeSantis administration is pushing back against President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice's apparent effort to send in election “monitors” inside state-run polling locations within several Florida counties.
In a letter to John “Bert” Russ, Deputy Chief & Elections Coordinator for the Department of Justice by Florida Department of State General Counsel Brad McVay, the DeSantis administration warns that under Florida statute, DOJ monitors “are not permitted” inside Florida polling locations.
But Department of Justice monitors are not permitted under Florida law. Section 102.031(3)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists the people who “may enter any polling room or polling place.” . .

ELECTION 2022.🗳️🚨
This just in: Pennsylvania Judge allows ballots to count that are received up until November 14th. This is unconstitutional.
Election Day is off to a rough start in Mercer County as officials announced that all voting machines were not working “due to a printing and scanning issue with the ballots,” according to local officials.
Mercer County Clerk Paula Sollami Covello said all votes will be correctly counted despite a “glitch with the Dominion scanners.”
In a midday update, the clerk said a contingency plan is in place for all ballots to be scanned at the Board of Elections office in Trenton, which she called “secure.”

Judge blocks Arizona county from hand-counting ballots
Madeleine Hubbard | Updated: November 8, 2022 - 11:26am
An Arizona judge has stopped a rural country's plan to hand-counting midterm ballots, following a request from Republicans for the process over concerns about the trustworthiness of the voting machines.
Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley's ruled Monday the county board of supervisors went beyond its authority by directing the county recorder to count all ballots cast instead of a small sample as required by state law, the Associated Press reports.
The judge in a case, brought by the progressive group Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans, which sued to stop the proposed count, said the law allows for only for a small hand-count of early ballots to ensure voting machine accuracy. The group also said the change could create chaos and possibly delay election results.
The ruling is unlikely to be appealed because Election Day is Tuesday.
While the case challenged only about 30,000 early ballots, the judge went further and blocked hand counts of both early and Election Day votes.
https://justthenews.com/government/courts-law/judge-blocks-arizona-country-hand-counting-ballots
Why is it that Democrats can always find a judge who gives them even more than they ask for, while Republicans can't even find a court room.
Most Republicans don't vote early because they don't want to signal to the Dems how many fake ballots they will need.
Some fraction of voters will not turn out if there is only one date. Technology issues like today, health problems, car problems, scheduling conflicts, long lines, simply forgetting the date, etc. The GOP has to quit hobbling itself.

There is now a 2 hour wait minimum at most polling places in Maricopa. Stay in line and vote at all costs!
This is so frustrating. If you're a parent whose childcare facility closes at 6pm (like ours did), you don't have the option to stay in line at all costs.
https://twitter.com/TPostMillennial/status/1590070723649110018
The waiting on election day really sucks. For those who have the luxury of being able to drink, the best approach to election day is to be at the polls at 7am to cast your vote. Then go back home and start drinking heavily. Drink until passing out around noon. Then have your alarm set for 8 pm and your coffee maker set to brew a pot at the same time. Put on your bathrobe, pour yourself a bowl of corn flakes, then turn on the TV.
Maybe that's what @corbe did.
The polls in some state somewhere are closing in seven minutes. No clue which state.

Dane County runs out of ballots
HENRY REDMAN - 2:37 PM
In an early afternoon tweet, Dane County Clerk Scott McDonell said he already had to order more ballots in a sign that turnout was high in the largely Democratic county.
“Just had to reorder some ballots,” he wrote. “I ordered a lot of ballots. So take that as some sort of tea leaf.”
In an email from the Dane County Clerk’s office, the county reported that 47,551 ballots had been counted as of 11 a.m., which is approximately 27% of registered voters.
The county is on track for about 85% turnout. In 2018, Gov. Tony Evers carried the county with more than 220,000 votes.

Are we still going to win the House....this is not the red wave as advertised..lol
Decision Desk HQ @DecisionDeskHQYup...this is a huge win for the dems. They'll be full speed ahead into full commie mode now.
Republicans’ chances of winning a U.S. House majority are dropping significantly, according to our live model. Our mean seat projection is down to 224 Republican seats.
damnit......so much for the polls...

That may happen to some degree. What happened tonight probably ends any shot Donald Trump gets the nomination
I wish I could agree. Donald will proclaim this as a great victory, and immediately launch into ridiculous personal attacks on DeSantis. Good luck getting the Trumpers to see the light — I’ve had more productive conversations with black Obamatons.
How the heck is this even possible! Oz is losing to someone basically brain dead.
Is this how we're spelling "Paul Ryan" now?
So... the bottom line tonight is that the House and Senate will be divided almost 50/50, as before. Democrats may well maintain control of both, and all the polls were wrong.
Voters were essentially unmoved by the explosion of crime, inflation, open borders, and drugs.

I think abortion was a big issue for the Dems...they sure like to kill babies.
If you are looking for someone who signed off on more Democrat debt than Ryan, you would spell it T-R-U-M-P.
DeSantis knows how to balance a budget.
But Republicans offered no alternative.
Simply untrue. I watched more debates than I can count. Republicans were disciplined, clear and concise in their plans and goals.

You got that right. Zero awareness between their actions and the consequence of their actions.
For the next two years, I don't want to hear a single Democrat complain about high prices, high interest rates, or high energy costs. Because if I sense that they are even thinking it, I will lay into them so fast - "This is what you voted for, you dumb shit!"

Biggest mistake by Republicans: Accepting years ago that we have to "vote in numbers to get beyond the fraud" instead of fighting it. All we did was help cement fraud as a systemic feature of our elections ---- and only one side uses it.That's because the Republican Establishment SUPPORTS voter fraud. The very last thing Mitch McConnell wants are REAL Republicans actually getting elected. They would throw his ass out in a second and he knows that. The Republican Aristocracy is perfectly fine with Democrats cheating and winning every election, as long as it keeps them in power. They simply don't care. Everything is about them, and their own wealth and power. The dirty peasants (all of us normal working people) can die in the dirt for all they care.
In states with clean, fraud-free, ID-required elections, it appears there was a red wave, both in local elections and statewide ones. In my own county, a longtime Dem commissioner - a good guy, well-liked - was ousted by a Republican newcomer. Our Democrat state delegate - a real union hack, the guy I narrowly lost to back in 2012 - was obliterated by a Republican college kid. Similar stories in local and state elections throughout our area, and even across the river in Ohio.
But where you have no ID, lots of mail-in ballots, same day registering and voting, no real rules about absentee or mail-in ballots - yeah, the Democrats took advantage.

There is certainly a great deal to be said and done about the failure of the Republican Party leadership in grooming candidates and delivering electoral success for them.
Undoubtedly there will be a lot said and perhaps, in time, something done about that.
But the one thing that strikes me most about last night's events is how thoroughly awful, willfully dumb, and emotionally motivated the American electorate has become.
And that is a problem that will not be solved in one mere election cycle.

The kiddies age 30 and under (actually even to age 40) have been thoroughly indoctrinated into stupidity and socialism by the time they first register to vote. That problem won't be solved anytime soon, even if we clean house in every school board in the nation.

The loss of a substantial number of votes, particularly from younger women (and males, too).

Redistricting alone will push the GOP over 217. They have known this all along, yet they have been pushing this as some major accomplishment.
My district (GA-06) was redrawn to ensure an easy victory for the GOP. The tradeoff was that GA-07 was redrawn to ensure an easy victory for the Democrats. Both districts were competitive. With a little work, the GOP could have won both. But they took the easy route and conceded GA-07 to the Dems.
Idiots. Lazy pathetic idiots. Republican leaders could care less if the Democrats are in charge. Their biggest fear is to be held accountable for anything. It's easier to complain about Democrats than it is to do anything to correct it. Take Obamacare for example. We still have it. Twelve years later, and Obamacare remains the law of the land. Republicans are worthless. And the voters know it.

We don't have an army. We have a political party that works against us in order to protect their own selfish interests.
McConnell still has his job. Rick Scott still has his job. Ronna McDaniel still has her job. And Kevin McCarthy is about to get a raise.
And Donald Trump's ego continues to be stroked by a bunch of blind sycophants.
Carville: Dems Should Have Lost 57 Seats – Trump Is Reason We Didn’t
Democratic consultant and political commentator James Carville said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump was the reason Democrats did not lose up to 57 seats in the House of Representatives.
But, we have alot of talent and ability at the state level, and much can be changed there.
Ronna McDaniel needs to go....right now!
Not in my State. The GOP here in Georgia is a cancer. Their greatest enemy is Conservatives willing to charge forward and make changes for the better.
Bigun asks:
"And again, I'll ask you @Fishrrman just who would you think might populate this new Continental Congress you keep blathering about?"
So I'll answer:
Selected delegates from the red (and a few purple) states, same as for the earlier ones.
And I'm not talking about "elected" delegates.
Thinkers, writers, even regular folks who have risen to a measure of distinction.
From Texas, among "the rest"... that might include... YOU.
Consider the first Continental Congress...
Who attended?
What did they discuss?
When they first convened, did they even know in which direction they would eventually go?
When things have gone as wrong as they have with "blue America", where do the red states begin in their effort to "right" things?
How can they even proceed, without discussions, meetings, some kind of joint plans?
The solutions to the problems traditional-minded Americans face today aren't going to just "materialize" in front of us.
And finally, an ominous thought I saw posted elsewhere yesterday:
The electoral process ain't gonna solve this.
What will...?

Go ahead and come out of the closet and vote Dim. You KNOW you want to,and you have nobody fooled.
Just some snippets from an article in today's Epoch Times about members of "The Squad" and how they did in their elections:
"Omar, 40, had 74.3 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting while Ocasio-Cortez, 33, had 67 percent,"
"Tlaib had 73.7 percent of the vote with 66 percent of precincts reporting early Wednesday."
"Pressley, 48, holds the seat for Massachusetts’ 7th Congressional District.
Veteran Donnie Palmer challenged Pressley, who had 84.5 percent of the vote with 95 percent of precincts reporting, according to The Associated Press."
"[Cori} Bush had 72.8 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting, according to the Missouri secretary of state’s office.
How the heck is this even possible! Oz is losing to someone basically brain dead.
Lol….
If you think renominating Donald Trump is going to result in victory then I want what you’ve been smoking
You couldn’t get people to vote for candidates that he endorsed in the primaries. How the hell do you plan on doing that in the general election?
Tonight has proven to me that half the country are certified idiots.

Assuming all goes well, to reclaim the senate, the GOP would have to draw up a play to get Walker past the goal line on Dec 6.
The Georgia GOP will be backing Warnock. They won't have to. The dems will drag out another 1,2,7,10 other women that Walker has slept with. He'll be done before the runoff even starts. Not a snowball's chance of Walker winning. It's the vicious game the dems play.

Civil war? There will be violence, that's for sure.
I would be perfectly OK with all-red States and all-blue States. One problem with that would be the blue States using the Federal Government to control the lives of those living in the Red States.
Another problem is that blue voters won't stay in blue States. When life becomes unbearable because of the policies they voted for, they escape those blue States and move to red States where they can vote for the same policies.
For kicks, I'm considering going onto TOS and getting zotted again by pointing out more truths about DT.

Exit Poll: Generation Z, Millennials Break Big for Democrats
Voters between the ages of 18 and 29 cast their ballot in favor of Democrat 63 percent of the time, exit polling data found.

Voters between the ages of 18 and 29 cast their ballots in favor of Democrats 63 percent of the time in the 2022 elections, exit polling data found.
Data from NBC exit polls found that the demographic, comprised of Generation Z and the Millennials, voted 63 percent for Democrats and just 35 percent for the Republicans.
The age demographic accounted for 12 percent of the electorate, in contrast to those aged 30 to 44, who made up 21 percent of the electorate and voted 51 percent for Democrats and 47 percent for Republicans, the exit poll data found.
Meanwhile, those between the ages of 45 and 64 made up 39 percent of the electorate and voted 44 percent for the Democrats and 54 percent for Republicans. The oldest demographic, those 65 and older, accounted for 28 percent of the electorate and supported Democrats 43 percent of the time and Republicans 55 percent of the time.
Though the 18 to 29 age group accounted for the smallest share of the electorate compared to the other age demographics, they were the most unified in their support of the Democrats, with no other age group voting for either party at such a high margin.
More specifically, those between the ages of 18 and 24, which accounted for seven percent of the electorate, supported the Democrats by a margin of 61 to 36 percent. Those between 25 and 29, six percent of the electorate, favored the Democrats by an even higher margin, with 65 percent of them voting for Democrats and only 33 percent going for Republicans.
The 18 to 29 age group differed significantly when the age group was broken down by racial demographic, though all racial demographics within the age group preferred the Democrats.
White voters between the ages of 18 to 29, 8 percent of the electorate, had by far the highest support for Republicans but they still supported Democrats over Republicans by a wide margin, 58 to 40 percent.
Latino voters between the ages of 18 and 29, three percent of the electorate, supported Democrats 68 to 30 percent. Meanwhile, black voters ages 18 to 29 accounted for just one percent of the electorate but supported Democrats overwhelmingly, 89 percent to nine percent.

Axelrod: Biden Should Avoid ‘Triumphalism’ — ‘This Wasn’t’ Really ‘an Affirmation of Policies’
During CNN’s election coverage on Wednesday, CNN Senior Political Commentator and former Obama adviser David Axelrod said that the message of the results in the 2022 midterm elections “wasn’t an affirmation of policies so much” as a rebuke of extremism
and that he would advise President Joe Biden against being triumphant in addressing the results.
Axelrod said, “Look, what I would advise would be to understand what the message was yesterday. I think it was a repudiation of extremism in all its forms. And I think he should note that and understand this wasn’t an affirmation of policies so much as that, and recognize that people are still struggling with inflation and other challenges and our job is to work together to try and solve them.”
He added, “Humility is good. And I think I would understand if they’re buoyant in the White House because this was a far better result than they anticipated. And so, much be — it must be an incredible relief. But I would advise against triumphalism and I would make it not about him, but about the country, and what it says about the country, and where we have to lead.”

Maybe the Republicans should have offered them something other than "Biden bad".
Thank you @LilLamb for asking this. Hopefully, when emotions subside, more questions will be asked, including --
What was the Washington GOP doing? Why did McConnell play whack-a-mole with campaign dollars and support multiple times, including pulling ads from competitive markets? For instance, why did he transfer money from Blake Masters to Lisa Murkowski?
Did McConnell approve going public with the proposal to ban abortion at the national level after the Dobbs decision, handing the democrats a reason to run on the most divisive issue of the past 50 years? BTW, what was the GOP's political message on abortion --- other than a victory lap?
And speaking of messaging -- whose strategic GOP genius was it to ignore the youth vote that coordinated their efforts, mobilized and voted in droves? That meeting the White House held with top TikTok users makes sense now, doesn't it? Did McConnell and McCarthy intentionally dismiss this development?
Where were McCarthy and McConnell---or their representatives? Trump held dozens and dozens of rallies on behalf of House and Senate candidates across the nation, yet neither could attend one in a show of support and unity. Could it be a failure pinned on DJT was more important than an election victory?
Who in the GOP reached out to DeSantis to publicly support, including robo calls, John O'Dea in Colorado ---- the one GOP candidate for the Senate to make stopping Trump in 2024 a pillar of his campaign? Does it matter to McConnell that O'Dea lost by 20 points or was the change in RDS's messaging the point?
What is RDS's relationship with his former mentors: team McConnell, McCarthy and Ryan?

We accepted early voting and mail in ballots. We will only get to digital voting if we are accepting of it. We need to demand that we go back to voting on Election Day and that's it. There's too much room for corruption with an election that lingers on for weeks.
Vote on Election Day period. Yes, that keeps a small percentage of people from voting, but I'd rather see that than allowing a large opportunity for election fraud and corruption.

The fact that every “pundit” is on TV proclaiming how terrible we did this midterm is not an accident. Stay positive and turn off your TV. The media and their talking heads have made propagandizing you their first line of attack. Don’t fall for it.
“The truth of the matter is, and I just got these numbers, there are 384,000,” Lake said. “That’s a lot of votes. 384,000 votes that are mail in ballots. So these people received them a month ago, but they didn’t trust probably most of them dropping ’em off at a Dropbox or in the US Postal Service. So they filled them out, they went into the voting center on election day, and handed them in. They felt that was the safest way to ensure that their ballot truly got to where it needed to go. Right.”
“And those ones haven’t been counted,” she added. “Those are most likely going to go two to one, maybe even three to one or greater in my direction, in the Republicans’ direction.”
“And I hate to step on you, but it’s just because sometimes we’re too close to the forest to see the trees,” Crowder added. “Here you’re saying these are ballots that were sent out. These are early ballots, but people, this is key, didn’t trust just sending them back in. So they dropped them off on election day. So they’re technically early votes, but dropped off that day. And that would be obviously most comparable to the numbers. Like we said, the drop of 55,000 votes in Maricopa County, of which 70.6% went to you, another 137,000 vote drop similar to this, 76% went to you. Right? These are the kinds of votes that we’re talking about, the number you just gave us. How many remain to be counted?”
“More than 384,000,” Lake said. “We believe that on the low end we would get 60% on the high end, more than 80% of those votes.”
“Over 384K Mail-In ballots dropped off on Election Day!” Kari Lake War Room tweeted. “These ballots are overwhelmingly in support of @KariLake & not a single one of them has been counted yet. This race is over for @katiehobbs.”
Rove, McConnell, the GOP establishment, etc., have a bad habit of attacking the GOP’s base. They did the same after the red tsunami in 2010, when the Tea Party delivered over 60 GOP seats to the House.

Thinking too much. Young women don't give a damn about 'abortion'! If they did they would not be pregnant.I think the student loan giveaway is more resonant with the 18-29 group, especially when they are fighting inflation (even though the Dems caused it, and the giveaway exacerbates it.

Exit Poll: Generation Z, Millennials Break Big for DemocratsVotes bought by student loan payments...which the GOP opposes.

Senate GOP fears another Trump disaster in Georgia runoffTrump will be in the middle of it. Count on it, as he can't help himself.
by Alexander Bolton - 11/11/22 6:00 AM ET
Senate Republicans are worried that former President Trump may derail their chances of winning the runoff election in Georgia next month if he announces his 2024 presidential campaign in the next few weeks, and again thrusts his unsubstantiated claims of widespread election fraud into the spotlight.
Trump’s critics in the GOP establishment are blaming him for their disappointing performance in Tuesday’s election, in which Republican candidates lost key races across the country and Republican turnout fell short of expectations.
Republican strategists worry that if the Dec. 6 Georgia runoff between Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) and GOP candidate Herschel Walker turns into a referendum on Trump, it will likely result in a loss that could cost them control of the Senate.
“Hopefully Trump will stay out of the race as much as he possibly can and if that means holding off announcing his campaign for the White House, that would be smart move not just for Republicans’ chances in Georgia but Trump’s hopes to win the nomination for president,” said one GOP aide, who requested anonymity to discuss concerns about Trump’s impact on the Georgia race.
“If you talk to Georgia election strategists, they believe Trump was a huge drag on Walker in suburban Atlanta and there’s just no reason to risk repeating that,” the source said. “If Trump injects himself into the race somehow and Walker comes up short, that’s really bad for Trump too.”

If Republicans were smart, they would announce that a million ballots, all of them marked for the Republican candidate, just showed up at some precinct. See how the Democrats react. Would they call for a statewide audit? Would they file a lawsuit because there were more votes than voters? Would they have an injunction filed saying the votes shouldn't count because three days have passed since the election day deadline?
If Republicans were smart…
This is a hypothetical, right?
You caught me. My bad.
If we can't get a football native to win a Senate seat, we certainly aren't going to get a win from some outsider pretty boy from California.

I'm sorry @roamer_1 but I respectfully disagree. There will always be something called The United States of America, but it will bear no relation to the country its founders intended.
That faction passed beyond 50% several years ago. We are already doomed. Every single dollar paid in federal income taxes goes towards a direct cash payment to another individual. And that still doesn't cover it.
Are we? We are way past critical mass in the populous.
And besides, y'all... The bill is about to come due. While the fiscal ramifications are predictable, the social ramifications are not. A qualified disaster on a national scale just might change the equation entirely.

YES. And that society is liberal. What will get pounded hard is liberals.
Conservatives tend to be rural, used to hardship, self contained, and structured to help each other. Which societal norm will survive the collapse and which will perish?
Hard to say... But I know where my bets are placed.
Anyway, that's what I mean about the results when the bill comes due. What will matter then is how strong the root. And I continue to have faith in that.
The laws of natural selection will apply. Very sad to think about, but the cold hard facts.

Also, do you know why the 275,000 ballots Maricopa Co. claimed were dropped off on election day has suddenly grown to 292,000 ballots?
And we all know the answer to that. One need not look any further than what we are doing to our children.
@catfish1957 @Bigun
Half the states are red. Nullification can do wonders. Remember, we are not just stuck with Democrats - They are stuck with us. The problem, as I have said all along is NOT the Democrats - It is that they have no opposition.
The problem is Republicans in disarray behind a colluding and traitorous leadership. When real and principled opposition is begun, the result may surprise you.
But that requires Republicans to actually vote FOR their beliefs and nothing else - Something they have been trained to avoid with Pavlovian surety.
@roamer_1

Kari Lake Still Has Path to Victory; Sen. Kelly Celebrates Senate Race Win
By Cameron Arcand | 3:30 PM on November 12, 2022
All eyes continue to be on Arizona, as the results of hundreds of thousands of ballots in Maricopa County have yet to be posted.
In Friday’s batch of nearly 80,000 ballots, they broke slightly in favor of Democrats, which was enough for Decision Desk HQ to determine that Democrat Sen. Mark Kelly will win re-election. There are roughly 370,000 ballots outstanding statewide, which could still be a game-changing number in some races.
These votes were presumably mixed between “late early” ballots dropped off on Election Day and some “Box 3” ballots. Many of the votes came from south Phoenix, as ABC15 Arizona’s Garrett Archer tweeted to explain the batch’s swing toward Democrats.
https://twitter.com/Garrett_Archer/status/1591333180229189635
Maricopa County is expected to drop another roughly 80,000 ballots from the same combination of ballot types on Saturday, according to Yvonne Wingett Sanchez at The Washington Post.

However, Archer noted that Saturday night’s drop will likely have a heavy Republican slant based on the areas the ballots are expected to come from. He tweeted that many of the ballots left in Maricopa County are coming from more conservative suburbs. This is good news for Lake and other down-ballot candidates.

Trump is panicking
This happened early last month -
I found it in my files and thought it was funny. Sorry for upsetting the rosebuds around here; and any women, too.
@catfish1957
Wow. Just how low are you going to go @Right_in_Virginia
LOL! YUP! Mine are mostly camo... but I have an old white pair and an old black pair.
It's easier to see the dirt on the white ones when it comes time to hosing them off.

Just until until I reach where you are @libertybele Promise.

God knows the chickens never told me I wasn't being stylish. :silly:
You're the one that was upset by the color of his boots and thought you could ding him for it. The rest of us are laughing at you for trying.
I am absolutely elated that Ron is my governor; a very conservative and popular governor.
Apparently Trump isn’t the only one panicking.
You aren't upsetting anyone @Right_in_Virginia you are just doing what we came to expect from you LONG ago. Carry on! 888high58888
Don't be getting so cocky @debrawiest I'm just kiling time ------ reservations aren't until 8:00 tonight. But, the food is so damn good you (almost) don't mind the wait. I hope you have a great evening ahead of you, too!
Quiet night at home. We got 15+ inches of snow on Thursday, so there’s still some shoveling out to do. You enjoy your night!

Alright, @DB Calm down... It's all over. Threre's nothing odd about a man wearing shiny white wedge-heeled boots. Nothing at all. I throw myself on the mercy of the righteous for being such a bully - Now scrape yourself off the fainting couch and go have some fun this Saturday night!! :dancer:

DEMOCRATS DIDN'T DESIGN THE LAWS IN ARIZONA. PEOPLE LIKE
@MeghanMcCain'S DADDY AND HIS FRIENDS DID.
It really isn't the product of DEMs, folks. They're just smarter than the GOPe.

What is the difference in McCain and 'DEMs'? McCain was a much a Democrat as Pelosi and Schumer. He just used the 'Republican' title as a ruse.

OMG! They’re calling the Nevada Senate race for Cortez Mastro over Adam Laxalt!
Laxalt wants a recount!
He was ahead the entire race!
What's the latest tally on the House???
He was ahead the whole race....and they stole it...
He was ahead the whole race....and they stole it...Of course they did. The dems win everytime an election goes into extra innings. Same thing will happen with Walker.
Of course they did. The dems win everytime an election goes into extra innings. Same thing will happen with Walker.
This is horrible!!! The race was so close that I believe it automatically goes to a recount. I hope Laxalt prevails, though doubtful.Nope. Democrats will "find" as many votes as she needs no matter what, even weeks from now. And they will be counted no matter what.

Yes, Republicans failed to win the Senate, but the important thing is that the $10 million Mitch McConnell spent in Alaska instead of Arizona, Nevada, or Pennsylvania looks like it saved Lisa Murkowski from losing to a Republican.

One concern is the snail's pace of CA tabulating votes.
GOP leads 6-10 uncalled House races. On the negative side, completion estimates range from 39-75%
We all know how the dims can with a little electoral wiggle room, and a week to count.
The GOP reaching 218, is not a lock.

Andy (and others), please take a moment to read this:
(my revised article for a new and revised Constitution, since the old one can no longer protect us or The Republic):
===========================
This Constitution prescribes that only citizens may vote in all elections conducted within the United States. This includes elections for federal offices of The United States, elections for State offices in the Several States, and all municipal and local elections conducted within the borders of The United States.
Elections will be conducted only on Election Day as prescribed by this Constitution.
All ballots in all elections will be paper ballots cast by individual voters at their respective polling locations. Electronic means may be used to tabulate vote counts at the local level.
Provisional ballots of any kind are prohibited by this Constitution.
Ranked Choice Voting of any kind is prohibited by this Constitution.
On Election Day votes will be tabulated immediately after the polls close. Tabulation and counting of votes will proceed continuously until a final tally is reached.
There shall be a demand right of registered voters to witness the tabulation and counting of votes. Any attempt to deny such right will be deemed unconstitutional. This right shall not be modified by any Court of the United States. The Several States may however limit the total number of election observers as is practicable for reasons of safety.
An election shall not be considered to be won unless the winning candidate receives a majority of the votes cast. If no candidate receives a majority, a runoff election must be held within 35 days to determine the winner. This shall not apply to the elections for President and Vice President, which are to be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral College, as enumerated in this Constitution.
The use of the United States Mail shall not be permitted for the collection of ballots, with the exception of absentee ballots.
There shall be no use of absentee ballots without the presentation of individual need, subject to strict scrutiny by the registrar of voters.
Absentee ballots must be received by the close of voting on Election Day. Any ballots received via mail after the polls close will be immediately destroyed and will not be entered into the voting tabulation.
All citizens of the United States will be required to produce identification before voting.
All citizens of the United States who desire to vote will be required to register at least six months in advance of election day, unless they have previously done so. All citizens requesting registration will be properly vetted by the registrar of voters.

What here is wrong, should be improved, etc.?
…yet many on our side are still casting blame at Trump for the failed house and senate seats.
If we actually had free and fair elections in this country, a radical democrat agenda wouldn’t stand a chance at the ballot box. We are still a largely conservative country and deserve conservative representatives, but will probably never get it until we fix the broken electoral system.
This is why the 2020 election was so important. And why rank and file republicans and conservatives, if they were at all concerned about election integrity, should stand behind Trump and MAGA, who will make election integrity a top priority.

@libertybele
It is said that the good Lord helps those who help themselves. And we're going to have to pitch in and work at it fearlessly, if Republicans are ever to win a national election again.
The main reasons for what happened last Tuesday, and for what is still happening days after most functional "democracies" have counted all the votes, are mail-in voting, and ballot-harvesting.
Democrats do it relentlessly everywhere they are allowed to do so.
They have perfected the process of flooding their supporters' mailboxes with ballots, including large numbers of people who would otherwise never turn up at the polls - and then sending out their paid armies to collect them.
These ballots are often not counted until Election Day votes have been tabulated. That's why states like California, Arizona and New Mexico are still counting. Democrats made the rules and enforce them, and always to their benefit.
Have you noticed that all of the remaining districts that have a Republican in the lead are being counted at a snail's pace, but that those with a Democrat in the lead keep racking up the votes until the Democrat wins? That's the result of Democrats controlling the process. It is corrupt. As is "ranked-choice" voting - another horrid idea brought to you by the Progressive Left.
And what has the national GOP done to counter this? Ummmm, nothing.
So blame Trump all you want (and he does deserve some, to be sure), or blame Lindsey Graham and his own big mouth (he certainly deserves a share), or blame the public for being poorly-informed and emotionally-motivated (as a whole bunch of them are), but the real problem - and any solution - starts with addressing the corruption of the electoral process.
We knew in 2000 with the 'hanging chads' what the dems were capable of. I didn't expect bush and obama to do jack $hit about it BUT I did expect Trump, in his 4 years, to put in place measures after his 2016 election to mitigate the problem, he'd be President today had he done this.
Never send a boy to do a man's job.
It's not so much of people blaming Trump for what happened, but more of Trump only caring about Trump in the midst of this is happening.
Most of all I DO blame our current SCOTUS who looked the other way and denied any recourse to the GOP for a stolen election.
@corbe Please be kind enough to give a specific example that YOU think Trump could have done solely on his own. Just one will do! I'll wait.
Did I read correctly that Murkowski lost?
He could have built bridges between factions instead of burning them to the ground, over and over. How many times did he say he was going to primary various conservatives. From Cruz to the freedom caucus members and beyond. He didn't win people over if they didn't agree, he threatened to destroy them instead.

Alarms are sounding and red lights are flashing in America, we don’t have time for pretense. Governor DeSantis is being used by corporate media (read as establishment, swamp, powers that be, whichever you prefer) to fracture the MAGA movement and Trump knows this.
Knocking out a potential contender is never pretty, both sides do it in political contests.
Besides, I don’t think using ‘DeSanctimonious’ constitutes a knockout blow or seems particularly out of bounds based on some of DeSantis’ political ads.
@Bigun we just witnessed the cumulative damage those 3 have done to the GOP brand in an election which, historically, should have been a cakewalk.
I'm fully cognizant of Trump's personality flaws @DB my question to @corbe and now you remains.
What could Trump could have done solely on his own to fix the illegal ballots problem in some states?
Regarding elections after he was out of office, realistically probably not much. While in office he could have pushed a whole lot harder at stopping the endless lockdowns that started with him and the excuses that followed for mail in ballots. In short, he could have actually led instead of followed his "experts".
I know, right? I didn't get it at first. I saw muck boots on a governor and got a kinda "There's a guy, right in it, helping out" vibe...Well, they are awful clean for muck boots...
Didn't even occur to me that muck boots might be thought a joke... Not to mention their color, which I hardly noticed in passing.
This is a laugh riot.

I've done a district - county by county turnout review, and drill down .... this isn't ironclad method but where the votes are outstanding, and % ballot completion should give a fair estimate, of how the race breaks-
The remaining races include:
Alaska's at-large Congressional District: Democratic Rep. Mary Peltola and Republican Sarah Palin. Stupid ranking runoff
Arizona:
AZ-01 with Democrat Jevin Hodge and Republican Rep. David Schweikert. 50.4-49.6
3K votes down with 32 k theo. votes left. One county only -Maricopa- Strong advantage Dem.
AZ-06 with Democrat Kirsten Engel and Republican Juan Ciscomani. 50.2-49.8
3/4 of the outstanding vote is in heavily dim leaning Pima County- I think this one goes to the dems. Advantage Dem
California:
CA-03 with Democrat Kermit Jones and Republican Kevin Kiley. 53.0-47.0
District has several GOP leaning counties that have plenty of cushion. GOP Win
CA-09 with Democrat Rep. Josh Harder and Republican Tom Patti. 56.3-43.7
Overwhelming percentage of voter highly favors the Dems. Easy hold. Dem Win
CA-13 with Democrat Adam Gray and Republican John Duarte. 50.1-49.9
Counties slow in counting are significantly Dim in config so far. Democratic Win
CA-21 with Democrat Rep. Jim Costa and Republican Michael Maher 54.6-45.4
Liberal Fresno undercounted of the two counties. Dems bigly. Democratic Win
CA-22 with Democrat Rudy Salas and Republican Rep. David Valadao 52.5-47.5
County make up a distribution is a near wash, with slight slight edgeto dims This one is an utter tossup... But with near 3K lead in hand? GOP Win
CA-27 with Democrat Christy Smith and Republican Rep. Mike Garcia 55.4-44.6
Unless there are very dissimilar precints within this district, this one should have been already called. GOP Win
CA-41 with Democrat Will Rollins and Republican Rep. Ken Calvert 50.7-49.3
Another one that will rely on which precint ideology trends- Razor close, but based on present lead- GOP Win
CA-45 with Democrat Jay Chen and Republican Rep. Michelle Steel 53.8-46.2
Conservative Orange County should prevail- GOP Win
CA-47 with Democrat Rep. Katie Porter and Republican Scott Baugh 51.3-48.7
Nothing to stop the dem loss here. Dem win
CA-49 with Democrat Rep. Mike Levin and Republican Brian Maryott 52.3-47.7
Big Lead, Blue district. Dem Win
.
Colorado:
CO-03 with Democrat Adam Frisch and Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert 50.2-49.8
All the vote is in basically (>99%) This is Boebert unless the dims find out some way to steal, like recount- GOP Win
CO-08 with Democrat Yadira Caraveo and Republican Barbara Kirkmeyer 48.4-47.7
County votes missing favors the GOP but with a 2k lead, this is going to be razor close. Coin flip.. Dem Hold
Maine:
ME-02 with Democrat Rep. Jared Golden and Republican Bruce Poliquin 49.2-43.9
2 counties who I have no idea aligns show no votes. With the big lead otherwise . A no doubter..... Dem Win
New Mexico:
NM-02 with Democrat Vasquez v. GOP Herrell- 50.3-49.7
Missing counted votes are from heavily blue counties. Easy blue. Dem win.
New York:
NY-22 with Democrat Francis Conole and Republican Brandon Williams 50.7-49.3
No reason this one should be called. 94%vote in GOP Win
Oregon:
OR-05 with Democrat Jamie McLeod-Skinner and Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer 51.1-48.8
Most votes outstanding are from Blue leaning Clackamas, and otherwise slight otherwise edge to the dims Dems Win
OR-06 with Democrat Andrea Salinas and Republican Mike Erickson 49.7-48.0
Dims have heavy advantage in counties that have reported less. This lead should widen. Dems win
Present Count GOP 211 (for over 48 hrs.) Dem. 204
Count based on my analysis and projection
GOP 218 Dem. 217
Here's pointing-up another idea for a poster to add to your "Stupid Should Hurt" collection.
Trump is the only Republican leader sounding clarion calls for election reforms, citing AZ and NV
and for McConnell's immediate replacement.
Considering his Svengali like hold on the brain dead base maybe he could have endorsed better candidates?
Count based on my analysis and projection
GOP 218 Dem. 217
Has the GOP establishment done enough yet to prove they will happily accept defeat --- indeed, promote it ---- for the majority of Republican voters to believe it? The establishment WILL get what it wants, one way or the other. "Uniparty" is more than clever, it's reality.
We need to stop jumping from emotional cue to emotional cue like trained seals and focus on our actual choice: Mitch McConnell or Donald Trump. Which of these two do we prefer sits behind the Resolute desk?

I'm fully cognizant of Trump's personality flaws @DB my question to @corbe and now you remains.Considering the Constitution calls for the States to follow the election rules and laws set forth by the several States' legislatures, Trump could have only called for cleaning up that political landscape (by the states themselves), and appointed judges who would enforce the Constitutional constraints that require any changes to come from the legislature, and not some edict by an appointee or executive branch flunky within the State Government. Where the law is breaking down is that changes are made in violation of the Constitution, yet no one is enforcing the Constitution, up to and including SCOTUS in 2020.

No. Currently she is in 2nd place behind Tshibaka. But now Democrat Chesbro and Republican Kelly voters get to choose which of the two they prefer. That's about 12.4% of the total vote.
There's a gap of about 3000 votes between Tshibaka and Murkowski. Tshibaka would need at least 32% of those Democrat voters to win. But seeing how Murkowski endorsed the Democrat candidate in the House race, i suspect all the Dems will choose her over Tshibaka.
Yet he never fired Fauci.
Thanks, @Hoodat . Although I don't know anything about Tshibaka...I was hoping Murkowski would be able to stay home for a while. I must have read incorrectly.
Tshibaka is one of us.
These rules were put in place for one reason and one reason only - to help get Murkowski re-elected. She has never won a majority of Alaska's vote in any Senate race she has ever run. But Mitch McConnell likes her so much that he openly violated GOP Party rules to fund her campaign.
He would have been impeached and removed from office had he done that IMHO. He was walking a tightrope.
I've never bothered to try AK's stupid electoral system, but from your vantage point, and all this double/triple ranking/runoff garbage, does Tshibaka win?
I strongly disagree. Impeached? So what. Removed from office? Not a chance.
If more than 73% of Dems ranked Murkowski over Tshibaka, then no.
He would have been impeached and removed from office had he done that IMHO. He was walking a tightrope.
Exactly Bigun And Mike Pence would have been the star witness for the prosecution. We know this because Pence refused to do anything about Fauci each time Trump asked.
Remember: Trump appointed Pence the head of the COVID commission, Pence brought in Fauci (and Birx) and both reported directly to him.
Here's Where the House Race Stands With Yet Another GOP Flip
By Nick Arama | 12:30 PM on November 13, 2022
It has seemed that they’re slow-walking the calls for the outstanding races in the House, even when some of them are separated by more than a couple of points. It’s five days after the election and we still don’t know the results for control of the House. I last updated this two days ago. But if there’s anything that needs to be addressed going forward, it’s this concept being pushed that it’s somehow normal to take “days” or even “weeks” to get to a result in the election.
We now have another official call from Decision Desk in the OR-5 race. Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer defeats Democrat Jamie McLeod-Skinner, 51.4 to 48.86. That’s another Republican flip for the House.
https://twitter.com/DecisionDeskHQ/status/1591818922784952322
According to RealClearPolitics, the current numbers are Republicans, 212 to Democrats, 204. Republicans need 218 for the majority.
These are the races that are still out there to be called. Below, I note if the race has already been called by Decision Desk, it lists the district and then whether the Republican (R) or Democrat (D) is currently leading.

That means that there are still 20 to be decided, with nine of those where the Republicans are leading. Assuming they held all those leads, Republicans would have 221. But for control, they need just six of them.
OK. If you say so @DB but I think your never Trump bias is getting involved with your thought processes.

It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake. Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow!
Ballot-harvesting should be treated as per se election fraud.

Did you know in 2021, Nevada amended its election laws? Now, mail-in voting is universal and permanent. Voters are not required to ask for a mail-in ballot. The state is required to mail each voter a ballot unless the voter opts out.

Someone here in Georgia is telling me that you can vote absentee, then show up and vote on election day, and the system will count both votes. Only one of the two methods has a QR code, so there is no way to catch double voting.
How Did Maggie Hassan Get 1100 Votes in NH Town With a Population Under 700?

We’ve got something for you if you’re looking for irregularities in your local elections. Columbia, New Hampshire. It’s way up north. A tiny little town that, according to the 2020 US Census, had 695 residents. But according to the Secretary of State, Maggie Hassan received 1,106 votes from the same town (https://www.sos.nh.gov/elections/elections/election-results/2022-general-election-results).
Don Bolduc had 193 votes. . . .

Not so hopeful of Lake's chances based on theoretical ballots left in Maricopa....
If 87.1% of the vote is counted, I have calculated that Lake will have to win 64.2% of the remaining Maricopa vote (approx. 202,000), to make up the present 57K deficit.

THE STEAL: The Number of House Seats Continues to Dwindle As GOP Leaders Remain Silent and Ignore Reality

The race for control of the US House is not over. It’s not over till the Democrats say it’s over.
The world is watching in amazement as corrupt election officials and politicians across the country can’t seem to finalize the results of an election five days ago. Texas and Florida can complete their election results a few hours after the election, but other states are days away, if not weeks.
The 2022 Election was supposed to be a route for the GOP. Biden and his gang of America-destroying communists are understandably not well-liked. They are even hated for their actions in Afghanistan, with the economy, the Jan 6 communist kangaroo court, and much more. Most Americans can’t list three things that this administration has done for the good of America. Many can’t name one thing.
China is very happy with the Biden regime, and so are Soros and Obama. The destruction of America is near complete. Free speech and free and fair elections were on the ballot.
On Monday, the night before the election, Real Clear Politics, which leans left because of its use of left-leaning polls, had the GOP winning 227 seats with a good chance at gaining many of the remaining 34 toss-up seats.
NBC News now projects a very narrow GOP win of 219 seats to the Dems 216.
Where is the GOP leadership as the Democrats slowly steal the US House? Where’s McCarthy? Where’s McDaniel? Where was McConnell in the Senate races?
Why are we not hearing GOP leadership standing up for the candidates who are still in the race and for those who had their races stolen with massive ballot drops out of nowhere?

Texas.
Not so here in Georgia. The State GOP worked hand in hand with the Dems to decide the elections beforehand. The deal they worked out was that the Dems would trade the US Senate seat for the State Government races. That's why Stacy Abrams stopped campainging down the stretch and started pulling money out of her campaign. She also conceded the race very early on election night without putting up a fight or even planning a victory party celebration with her supporters.
And to top it off, the Secretary of State who took money under the table and violated numerous election laws in 2020 just happened to win his election by a wider margin than even the governor.

Maybe from a strategic perspective at this exact moment. But Lake as a politician is the dims and the MSM's worst nightmare. No wonder they are pulling out all stops to prevent her from getting power, and stopping her for future political aspirations.
Meh, I would have rather have gotten the Senate and gotten a bunch of hearings and we could have stopped Biden's appointments. Az governor's race is just symbolic. The base needs to stop chasing shiny things.

They will not let the R's win. They know what will happen with investigations if they do.
You are correct. The DEMS will do whatever they need to do in order to retain power. Never in my life did I think we'd see stolen elections nor did I ever think that SCOTUS would just look the other way. I was foolish to think that we had a conservative majority in the SCOTUS. Now it looks like the DEMS are getting away with stealing another election. By the time '24 rolls around I think we can pretty much assume that the landscape and laws of our country will have been changed so much that that GOP just won't have a chance of holding or capturing any seat.

What Luck!… Colorado Democrats Find Several Thousand More Ballots for Lauren Boebert’s Opponent

If they can’t cheat, they can’t win.

Pro-Trump Republican Lauren Boebert is currently leading in her race against far left Democrat Adam Frisch in rural Colorado.
Boebert currently leads the race by 1,ooo votes and 0.4%.
Boebert has been leading the race for several days now.
Her opponent is a sleazebag who was caught having an affair in a storage locker in the district.
-But guess what just happened?
Democrats have found several thousand potential Democrat votes to be counted! What luck!
Newsweek reported without the slightest bit of irony.
The race for Colorado’s third congressional district remains too close to be called, as Trump-endorsed Rep. Lauren Boebert is currently only slightly ahead of her rival, Democrat Adam Frisch.
But the incumbent congresswoman’s narrow lead could once again be overturned if thousands of likely rejected votes in favor of her challenger were to be fixed, as a recount looms over the Colorado race.
Boebert was widely projected to win the midterms, with polling website FiveThirtyEight giving her a 97 in 100 chance of victory in the days ahead of the vote.
As of November 14 and with nearly all of the ballots being counted, Boebert is leading with 50.1 percent of the vote (162,040 votes) against Frisch’s 49.8 percent (160,918 votes).

California is sitting on 65% complete. We may need to convert some of these "states" back into territories.
They are still waiting for therest of the ballots to show up.
AK-AL - Alaska's At Large Congressional District has been rated by Fox News' Power Rankings as "lean Democratic" due to the state's newly implemented ranked-choice voting system giving incumbent Democrat Rep. Mary Peltola an advantage against her Republican opponents, former Gov. Sarah Palin and Nick Begich. Peltola lead in the first round of the vote, with Palin in second and Begich in third, but failed to secure 50%, meaning those who voted for the candidate with the least number of votes will have their second choice vote reallocated to the other candidates until one reaches 50%. The second round tabulation is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

I norrmally don't take polls too seriously, but the consistent 5% margin polling, plus what was supposed very favorable exit polling, casts a very serious doubt around the validity of a Hobbs win.
Pulling 53% of the votes out of a county that is only 17% Dem sure helped.
BALANCE OF POWER: Where do the uncalled House races stand as GOP nears majority?
13 congressional races remain uncalled with control of the House hanging in the balance
As Republicans are now one seat away from capturing a majority of seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, there are still 13 races yet to be called that will determine how close the margins could be for the GOP should it ultimately prevail.
A party must win 218 seats to win a majority in the 435-seat body, a feat appearing to be within the grasp of the GOP, who have won 217 seats so far to Democrats' 205.
Here is where the remaining races stand as votes continue to be counted in states across the country:
ME-02 - Maine similarly implemented a ranked-choice voting system following a state-wide referendum in 2016. Incumbent Democratic Rep. Jared Golden failed to reach 50% of the vote last week, but is currently leading former Republican Congressman Bruce Poliquin, who represented the district from 2015 to 2019. The second round tabulation is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 15. Fox News' Power Rankings has rated the race as a toss-up.
CA-03 - Republican Kevin Kiley holds a commanding lead over Democrat Kermit Jones; however, approximately only a little over half of ballots have been counted in the "likely Republican" race. California accepts mail-ballots for the week following Election Day, although the ballots must be postmarked by Election Day. The ballots must also go through a signature verification process before being counted.
CA-06 - Incumbent Democratic Rep. Ami Bera is leading Republican challenger Tamika Hamilton in this seat considered to be safe Democrat.
CA-13 - This toss-up race is among the tightest remaining as Republican John Duarte narrowly leads Democrat Adam Gray by less than 800 votes.
CA-21 - This safe Democratic seat is still yet to be called due to the ongoing vote count; however, incumbent Democratic Rep. Jim Costa leads Republican challenger Michael Maher by more than 7,000 votes.
CA-22 - In another tight race, incumbent Republican Rep. David Valadao leads Democratic challenger Rudy Salas by more than 3,000 votes. Fox News' Power rankings has rated the race as a toss-up.
CA-27 - Incumbent Republican Rep. Mike Garcia holds a commanding lead over Democratic challenger Christy Smith by a little more than 13,000 votes in the "lean Republican" seat.
CA-47 - Incumbent Democratic Rep. Katie Porter leads Republican challenger Scott Baugh by less than 3,000 votes in this toss-up race.
CA-49 - This toss-up race currently has incumbent Democratic Rep. Mike Levin leading Republican challenger Brian Maryott by a little more than 13,000 votes.
CO-03 - Incumbent Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert was not expected to have such a close race with her Democratic opponent, Adam Frisch, in the "likely Republican" seat, however, the one-term congresswoman is narrowly leading the vote count by a little more than 1,000 votes. Mail-in ballots from out of state and overseas military service members can arrive as late as Wednesday as long as they were postmarked by Election Day, meaning the count could continue into later this week.
CO-08 - Democratic candidate Yadira Caraveo narrowly leads Republican candidate Barbara Kirkmeyer in this "lean Republican" race, but, like the 3rd District race, mail-in ballots can arrive from overseas or out of state as late as Wednesday if they were postmarked by Election Day.
CA-09 - Incumbent Democratic Rep. Josh Harder holds a large lead over Republican challenger Tom Patti in this "lean Democratic" seat.
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/balance-of-power-where-do-the-uncalled-house-races-stand-as-gop-nears-majority
We're not going to lose all 13 remaining races, so I think we can cautiously breathe a sigh of relief.Don't count out the republicans who are liberal that might change to being a democrat with the right push...$$$$$$$.
From what I am reading, the blue state races have significant systems in place like late ballot collection/counting, and general ballot harvesting that might temper additonal gains. Yesterday, I thought the final number would be 220-223. Today I am thinking 219 or 220.
Not Ariz-over yet: Kari Lake defeat might not be final for days to come
by Asher Notheis, Breaking News Reporter |

The Arizona gubernatorial election may have been called on Monday night, but Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs's victory may not be set in stone for another few weeks.
The race for governor in Arizona was close for days between Hobbs and Republican candidate Kari Lake ahead of Monday's declaration, with a recount possible within the next few days. A new state law allows a recount to be made in an election if votes are separated by 0.5 percentage points, widening the possibility of a recount from the previous distance of 0.1 percentage points, according to AZ Family.
“If it’s around 10,000 votes, certainly a recount probably won’t result in a change, but if your race is decided by single digits, like mine was, then, of course, you want it to be recounted,” said Christine Jones, a former congressional candidate. ... Washington Examiner (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/kari-lake-defeat-not-final-days-come)
Wouldn't post-canvasing (Hobbs cheating) basically recount the same "cheated, stolen, and supressed" votes?
Without some forensic induced adjustments, I am guessing this exercise is moot.
It amazes me how fraud (yes, fraud) was proved with the 2020 Maricopa audit, yet not a single thing was done to prevent it from happening again.

Yes, it did, and it was one of the most useless, pointless, unnecessary comments ever made, given the context.
Graham knew what he was doing. And it achieved exactly what 'they' wanted it to do.
Graham's entire career has been around counterproductive themes and diversions. I think (as Turdle's lackey) he sabotaged our chances on purpose.
Yep. McCain 2.0.
However, not all House Republicans are on board with McCarthy as Speaker, and some have flirted with the idea of working with Democrats to get a more moderate Republican as Speaker.
Although the GOP has not officially clinched the majority, they are expected to regain the majority by a slim 219-216 margin, meaning only a handful of Republicans could railroad McCarthy’s Speaker candidacy, as he would need at least 218 votes to secure the position.
For example, Republican Rep. Don Bacon (R-NB) told NBC News on Monday he would be willing to work with Democrats to select a Speaker if the Republican Party does not rally behind one candidate during Tuesday’s vote.
“I will support Kevin McCarthy, but if we do get to that point, I do want the country to work and we need to govern. We can’t sit neutral; we can’t have total gridlock for two years,” Bacon told NBC.
However, he did not rule out working with the Democrats to select a Speaker.

Hey cry babies!
They are still counting votes in Orange County, California, and Republicans are pulling ahead.
Why?
Because ballot harvesting was done by Republicans.
Sorry no one told you to do this elsewhere. Except me in 2018 but who is keeping track?

Democrats were so upset at Republican ballot harvesting in 2020 that the AG and SoS sued them to get them to stop. The judge laughed because Democrats wrote the law. If Republicans can play the Democrats game in CA they can everywhere. twitter.com/kerpen/status/…
This was been coming for decades. My experience is done with two blatant steals that we worked very hard to win, and McConnell & McCarthy get to keep losing it for us. Those two are very far from an exhaustive list.

I don't know why the major nets haven't updated the Repubs lead...they sure have the Dems at 209
https://results.decisiondeskhq.com/national/2022-house
Well this takes us back down to 218....they magically found 24 votes...QuoteWill Infantine, a Republican who won the other state House seat from Hillsborough 16, said he thought the appeal should be made, noting that both Republican candidates lost the same number of votes in the recount.
“Clearly, there’s something wrong here. We just don’t magically both lose 22 votes like that,” Infantine said.
I have no idea what our number is now..is it 217 because of NH...?
I believe that was the NH state legislature. I'm sorry the NH General Court as it's called here.
Are these two R losses in the NH state legislature...I can't find anything on Decision Desk
GOP needs to stop conceding. I was sorta against the stop the steal movement in 2020. I'm coming around this time around.
However, I do think in the long term it suppresses turnout.
Election counts should be 96 hours max. Less than .5% difference automatic recount. Paper ballots.
OK @mystery-ak @Hoodat I am confused. I'm just turning on the computer and noticed that FOX is saying that the Republicans are one seat away from the majority? I thought yesterday that it was announced that the Republicans had taken control of the House.

The Democrats are still counting votes. I wouldn't make any assumptions on there being a GOP majority in the House. And even if the Dems end up with only 217 seats, they only need to convince one GOP member to be their next Speaker.
Decision Desk has announced 2 Ca races called for Repubs making it 219....Lots of media are reporting it

Gottcha. As I presumed the DEMS are not going to give up their control and power.
California accepts mail-ballots for the week following Election Day, although the ballots must be postmarked by Election Day. The ballots must also go through a signature verification process before being counted.
@libertybele
The reason for the confusion is that Decision Desk (and Townhall, reporting from the same source) called CA-3 for the Republicans.
That was yesterday, and to the moment, no one else is willing to do the same.
The current vote totals, from Real Clear Politics looks like this:
CA District 3 (https://www.realclearpolitics.com/elections/live_results/2022/state/ca/house/) Jones (D) 47.2 Kiley (R) 52.8 (56% Reporting)
Decision Desk has also called this race:

Last updated:11/16/2022, 1:46:05 PM
David Valadao (R) 52.43%
Rudy Salas (D) 47.57%

The Rubicon has been crossed. I don't like it, but its time to win. We will build the most sophisticated and aggressive legal ballot harvesting operation in America and never let this garbage happen again.
Inevitably comes the desire to cheat better than they do **nononono*

It's not cheating if the rules allow it.
The referee (courts) ok’d it.
It's not cheating if the rules allow it.
It's not cheating if the rules allow it.
I despise it, but we are in the middle of trench knife fighting.
Have to counter them before they eat us alive.
Which Republicans will never ever be able to do.
Yep, when in the hallmark of the all time greatest legends of electoral cheaters..... All are dims. JFK, LBJ, Richard Dailey, Al Franken...and maybe a few more I can't put afinger on.
And in that, the true destruction.
Just like the desperate 'need' for right facing journalism to spin just as much as the left... Now there is no journalism at all.
Like I said, I don't like it at all, but war - whatever form it takes - is ugly.
Better this than bullets.
Till every moral good is gone... Jussayin.
Things never get better by doing nothing.
Nor do they get better doing wrong.
Which Republicans will never ever be able to do.
Nor do they get better doing wrong.
So following the rules as written is now "wrong". Wow, ok.
Yeah it's wrong. It's basically yielding to a broad field that allows pretty unlimited cheating. And not far behind it, when playing the game fails to produce results, the cheating itself.
It's the wrong way.
What way would you recommend then?
Courts or control the legislature seem to be the options.
Because you are chasing your tail trying to beat Democrats at cheating. And that's all this is - Legal or not.
AB 1921, legalized ballot harvesting statewide
Allows any person a voter designates to return their ballot for them
Ballot harvester can hold a ballot for up to 72 hours before delivering it to elections officials
No training or accreditation required; no registry of ballot harvesters or chain of custody
Harvester is supposed to sign their name on the ballot, but ballot will be counted even if the harvester’s signature is missing
AB 1461, Motor Voter Act – automatically registers people to vote when they interact with the DMV unless they opt out
And again I say, it isn't cheating if you are following the rules as written.
What if you're not following any of the rules? What if you are allowing ballots to be submitted after election day? What if you are double-counting ballots? What if you allow changes to be made in election machine software, and then not re-certify the machines? What if you don't check signatures on mail-in ballots or even accept mail-in ballots without signatures? What if you set up more absentee ballot drop-off boxes than the law allows? What if fail to monitor those drop boxes? What if you allow ballot harvesting in violation of State law? What if you fail to have a chain of custody for absentee ballot box pickups? Repeatedly. What if you accept new mail-in and online voter registrations without proper ID follow-up? What if you tally ballots outside the hours when Republican observers are present? And what if you hire a highly partisan political action group to be in charge of collecting ballots?
Each and every one of these things took place in Georgia in 2020/21. Twice.

Yeah, our side wants to be virtuous while their side wants to win. However, these particularly nasty winners then go about imposing their dystopian world vision on the rest of us. Those are the rules. Want change? Then, win elections.
The point being that no one can change who you are and what you believe in but you. Stand strong in your beliefs, your integrity and your values is the message I was trying to convey. And that won't happen until the entire GOP wants that.
You want to win elections?? That's not going to happen until the RNC, GOP and voters find a way to ensure election integrity.
After roughly 27,000 more votes were counted on Tuesday, Tshibaka’s lead was cut from 3,000 to 565.
How convenient. That means Murkowski, who was only pulling in 42% of the vote, magically collected over 55% of these 27,000 votes.

It’s the chicken and the egg dilemma. In regards to election reform which must come first? My answer, winning (rigged) elections—by any means necessary. Then, legislatively unrigging them.
Of course, that must happen state by state.

We have a long tradition of secret ballots in the USA.
The election day count had Keitt trailing by 113 votes. Keitt called McCloat to concede the election. But eight days later, the cities of Trumbull and Fairfield announced that they had discovered batches of ballots that had not been counted. These new ballots put Keitt ahead.

Agreed. That's why it is a system of trust. Once ballots are in the hands of the managers/counters a lot can go on with no possible way to audit them. Ballots can be swapped out from select regions and no one will be the wiser. Especially if a ballot can be printed on command by those in charge. You can recount the ballots all you like and it won't expose what was done.

Connecticut:
Democrat Sarah Keitt Claims Victory In 134th House District Race
The race between Keitt and Republican Meghan McCloat came down to a recount, which McCloat is contesting with an elections complaint.
Alfred Branch | Nov 16, 2022 | 5:56 pm ET
FAIRFIELD, CT — Democrat Sarah Keitt claimed victory Wednesday in the state's 134th House District race, defeating Republican challenger Meghan McCloat by less than a dozen votes following a recount.
According to unofficial numbers from the Secretary of State's office, Keitt garnered 5,143 votes, while McCloat received 5,133. The district represents parts of Fairfield and Trumbull.
In Fairfield, Keitt unofficially received 3,697 votes, compared to McCloat's 3,657. The unofficial Trumbull tally was 1,446 for Keitt, and 1,476 for McCloat.
Keitt carried Fairfield, the hometown of both candidates, by 40 votes, while McCloat had a 30-vote edge in Trumbull, which ultimately was not enough for the victory.
"The voters have spoken," Keitt said in a statement. "After all of the ballots were carefully tallied and meticulously re-counted, I am thrilled to announce that I have won the race for State Representative in Connecticut’s 134th House district by 10 votes. This result demonstrates the truth of the statement, 'EVERY vote matters.'"
For her part, McCloat said she has drafted a complaint with the State Elections Enforcement Commission against Fairfield Democratic Registrar Matthew Waggner, who McCloat accused of violating "multiple Connecticut State Election Laws that constitute Prohibited Acts according to Chapter 151 of the Connecticut General Statutes."
McCloat did not provide a copy of the draft complaint to Patch, but said that the "evidentiary attachments" would be made public in the event of an SEEC investigation.
"Alleged violations include unnecessary printing of photocopied ballots, improper chain of custody of official ballots, false statements on certificates and returns, improper voter count without an official moderator present, and tampering with ballots among other violations," McCloat said in a statement. "These violations, if corroborated, carry criminal penalties and should be the subject of investigation by the State Elections Enforcement Commission."

No, it is a State House race.

GOP - 219
Party of satan - 212
Four seats undecided. Three in California (Republican leads all three). One in Alaska (Dem leads, but will go to second and 3rd choice).
Possible GOP could win all four, but its also possible the Dems could win all four.
Shouldn't Lauren Boebert's win increase the count to 219....or is she included in the 218. Fox or the Hill still has the count at 218
According to CNN, Boebert's win is included in the 219.

This ranked choice crap is kind of ridiculous huh?
In the House contest, Peltola holds a commanding lead, with 48.7 percent support over Republicans Sarah Palin at 25.8 percent and Nick Begich at 23.4 percent.
Still waiting on this one..too close to call
Candidate(s) % Votes
Duarte 50.3%
64,448 852 ahead
Gray 49.7%
63,596
Est. vote in: 93%
@Weird Tolkienish Figure
Whatever happened to the concept of "One man/woman vote, with the candidate getting the most votes winning"?
How convenient. For two weeks, Palin and Begich together have polled over 50%, meaning that as long as their voters chose the other Republican as the second choice, the higher of the two would win. But 15 days after election day, suddenly their total has fallen to 49.2%, meaning that they now can't win on their votes alone. At the same time, Murkowski who trailed Tshibaka by two points for a week and a half suddenly finds herself behind. How does this happen? How is it that two weeks after the election, there is such a sudden and substantial change in vote totals?
Even though her opponent conceded late last week? Wonder what's up with that?
Peltola defeats Palin in Alaska House race
Rep. Mary Peltola (D-Alaska) was projected to win the race for Alaska’s at-large congressional district, delivering her a full term after she won a competitive special election this summer following the death of Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska).
Murkowski defeats Trump-backed challenger in Alaska Senate race
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) is projected to win her bid for reelection to the U.S. Senate, defeating fellow Republican Kelly Tshibaka.
The Associated Press called the race just after 8 p.m.
Darn it. I can't believe that RINO Murkowski keeps her seat.
You can thank Mitch for that.
You can thank Mitch for that.
Just two House races remain undeclared, and Republicans lead in both
by Julia Mueller - 11/24/22 1:53 PM ET
Just two House races remain undeclared as of Thanksgiving Day, with Republicans leading in both races and looking to add to their majority.
Democrats were able to hold on to the Senate and keep control of a number of key House seats after the “red wave” failed to materialize on Election Day, but Republicans last week narrowly crossed the 218-seat threshold to take the House.
Now, more than two weeks after the midterms, two House races in California and Colorado are officially still up in the air — though the Democrat has conceded in Colorado. If the current GOP leads hold, Republicans will secure 222 House seats, while Democrats would hold 213.
The 222-213 breakdown would notably be the exact reverse of the results in the 2020 election cycle, when the House split in the Democrats’ favor.
In California’s 13th Congressional District, Republican John Duarte is ahead of Democratic former State Assemblyman Adam Gray by less than 600 votes, with 99 percent of the vote counted, according to The Associated Press.
The race was seen as a toss-up heading into Election Day in the recently redrawn California district.
The 13th Congressional District is currently represented by Rep. Barbara Lee (D), who decided to run in, and win, the new 12th District. Gray was endorsed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and both of California’s Democratic senators, Dianne Feinstein and Alex Padilla, but the redrawn lines made a blue win uncertain.
In Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, the vote count is similarly slim.
With 99 percent of ballots tallied, sitting Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert is up by around 550 votes over Democratic challenger Adam Frisch, a razor-thin margin that kickstarted a recount under Colorado’s election rules.
Frisch at one point was leading Trump-backed Boebert by 64 votes in the reliably red district Boebert had been expected to win easily.
The Democrat conceded the race last week, saying he didn’t think a recount would reverse Boebert’s victory, but the race hasn’t been formally called.

It's outrageous that the Boebert race hasn't been called yet.
IMHO, We just got played, again.
How so ?
I would agree.
We can put a man on the moon, but we can't get this right.
It is insane.
On another note...the lotteries can tell the next day where the tickets were sold and who won. But something as important as this we can't seem to get right.

"This is a legal position that we are taking. We are in position so that if anything happens to anyone, we are here to offer you legal representation. We are here to offer you security. And that's that. And may the best person win."
The armed patrols will be conducted at polling locations in both Atlanta and Savannah between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. and then again between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., according to the group. The intent is not to intimidate voters as they cast their ballot, the group said, maintaining it does not endorse either candidate.

@mystery-ak
Since when did it become legal for armed citizens to occupy or even walk around a voting station?
This photo was from 2008 POTUS election in Philly. Not exactly a new phenomenom.

Georgia Leaders Losing Battles to Hide Their Dominion Connections
Posted on November 21, 2020 by Texans Jack & Dodie
The former chief of staff for Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was one of eight registered lobbyists for Dominion Voting Systems.
Insiders say it was a “sure thing Dominion was in when we learned Thomas was involved.”
The lobbyist that legislative staff members were referring to was Jared Thomas, a former chief of staff and press secretary for Governor Kemp.
Another lobbyist for the controversial company was former Georgia Secretary of State Lewis Abit Massey.
Where’s the Media?
An important question mainstream media has failed to ask or seek answers for is:
Why is Dominion, an election company, doing donating to ANY political side of an election when they are contracted to run elections?
Records reveal Dominion donated large sums (at least $50,000) of money to the Clinton Foundation and were in cahoots with The DELIAN Project, a transnational voting technology initiative valued at over $2 million with the Clintons.

Just voted in Georgia. No line.
Polls closed in GA.
Warnock up 54-45, with 1.3M votes in.
Georgia map is almost all red except for the big cities like Atlanta and surrounding counties.. 888mouth
And the tally in Fulton County hasn't moved in 10 minutes..... Imagine that. 888mouth
Walker just took the lead. Expect a 130,000 vote drop for Warnock any minute now.
Make that 22 minutes. Can't these cheating POS at least change their modus operandi?
DeKalb is at 5% reporting. So, that won’t help.
And there's that big vote drop we've been waiting for
Warnock
50.7%
1,240,734
32,495 ahead
Walker
49.3%
1,208,239
57 minute pause now in Fulton County. Where are the electoral watch dogs......?
(No need to answer)
Okay call the race now..lol
I'm actually surprised they haven't called it for Warnock yet.
Are all the Dem strongholds in??
Are all the Dem strongholds in??
Fulton County moves from 55% complete to 67%.
Historically, South Dekalb County reports after 11 pm.
Does it break 90/10 like the rest of the county? (92/8..lol)
Just watching Fox...not much hope for Walker I just don't see this going his way...you should see the map, basically all red except for the major cities...
Weak Candidates, Thank you Trump, against a corrupt voting system in both GA and PA, WTF could anyone expect?
Make that 22 minutes. Can't these cheating POS at least change their modus operandi?
@corbe
This is Trump's fault??????
Just like that, Warnock picks up 96,000 votes.
@Hoodat
Almost like magic,ain't it?
If you could bring George Washington back to life and get him to run,the same thing would happen.
Voters are truly irrelevant in Dim areas. It's the people that count the votes that decide who takes office.
I'm actually surprised they haven't called it for Warnock yet.
Walker pulls ahead for the fourth time:
Walker
50.0%
1,593,824
1,962 ahead
Warnock
50.0%
1,591,862
Walker was Trump's hand picked candidate.... Just like Oz. And btw, Hannity is just as guilty for hawking them for Trump.
The only thing missing so far is the phantom water break....

BREAKING: Sen. Raphael Warnock (D) defeats Herschel Walker (R) in U.S. Senate race in Georgia - @DecisionDeskHQ
I see Warnock gaining >50K votes after all are counted
I'll bet the 'over' on that.
Raphael Warnock (i)
D
1,721,057 votes 50.6%
Herschel Walker
R
1,680,557 votes 49.4%
I predict the final tally has Warnock ahead by 100k.
64K + 40K.... 104K overall win. I think both our final estimates will be pretty close.
All the RCP polling data today had Warnock winning by 2-5%, including the GOP push polling at Trafalgar @ 4%
Walker actually over-performed polling, not much consolation, but.......
Looked hopeful for a bit, but those urban counties holding back, you knew that was going to drop hard.
his is a microcosm of where the country is - an extreme city-rural/ (suburbs) split. Don't see it changing even if the urban areas go through alot more pain.
So there we are. We are two countries now.
I woke up this morning and forgot this was even happening. Don't even care anymore.Isn't that the truth. I'm passed the point of caring anymore. @Weird Tolkienish Figure
I know I paint an ugly picture, but this is pretty much being played out in Venezuela, and we are on the same course, except on a much much more massive scale. 40 years of irresponsible left leaning government and polices will come back to bite us. It's not a point of if, at this point, it is when.
I woke up this morning and forgot this was even happening. Don't even care anymore.
Conservatives need to dust themselves off and build back from the ground up.

Have you ever read Thomas Chittum's "Civil War II" ??
It's quite interesting, and it was prescient in its time.
It can be found free on the net, if you look for it.
Wait a minute... just look here:

Just a reminder. Warnock campaigned on getting rid of the filibuster. Yet a majority of Georgians want to keep it. Go figure.

If they do get rid of the filibuster, and the GOP gets a trifecta majority again by some stroke of luck
Well... you get what you vote for I guess. If they do get rid of the filibuster, and the GOP gets a trifecta majority again by some stroke of luck, maybe they could actually do some actual codified reforms like getting rid of the 1965 immigration bill, energy and education departments, etc.

Wouldn't that be fun!
I guess! Unfortunately, millions are getting what they never voted for lately.
OK, folks, here's another Fishrrman totally-off-the-wall prediction for 2023.
With the new session, the dem-communists will have a 51-49 majority in the Senate.
But, I predict that in the coming year, both Feinstein and Fetterman will spend as much time absent from the Senate, as being there.
Feinstein, because of declining health and cognizance.
Fetterman, possibly because of another stroke.
Back to a 49-49 "tie" ??
GOP Georgia lieutenant governor: Every Republican ‘ought to hold Donald Trump accountable’ for Warnock win*****rollingeyes***** *****rollingeyes***** *****rollingeyes*****

GOP Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan says that every member in his party needs to hold former President Trump “accountable” for Sen. Raphael Warnock’s (D-Ga.) victory in Tuesday’s runoff election.
“The only way to explain this is candidate quality,” Duncan said in an interview with CNN, alluding to the controversies surrounding failed Republican challenger Herschel Walker, whom Trump had strongly encouraged to run.
Duncan added that he hopes Warnock’s victory will be a wake-up call for the GOP to examine their future with Trump as the face of the party.
“If we don’t take our medicine here, it’s our fault. … Every Republican in this country ought to hold Donald Trump accountable for this,” he said.
Warnock, a senior pastor at Atlanta-based Ebenezer Baptist Church, defeated Walker in Tuesday’s runoff, resulting in him earning a full term in Congress and giving his party an extra seat in their majority control of the Senate chamber, 51 to 49.
The Warnock-Walker showdown went into a runoff after neither candidate garnered more than 50 percent of the vote in last month’s general election.

So does Warnock the "pastor" vote for all the LGBTQIA tranny stuff?
Senators must still cast all votes in person, from the Senate floor.
...unless they CHANGE the rules.

Hmmm... with 51 votes now, they could do that. But it hasn't been done yet.
GOP Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan needs to be held accountable for HIS Bullshit! Along with his cohorts the Governor and Secretary of State ALL of whom are on Dominion's payroll.

Percentage wise Walker underperformed in all those counties v. Kemp.
Precincts yes, but 80+% vote countywide for a candidate is rare, and usually happens in very small population counties. Almost 90% for Clayton, 86% for DeKalb.
WTH?
Look at the demographic change in those counties between the charted years and you'll have your answer.
Almost 90% for Clayton, 86% for DeKalb.
WTH?
I don't care what Karl Rove has to say about anything!
I don't get knocked off guard much anymore when it comes to politics, but that made my head snap back.
It just confirms the balkanization theory. If you can hoodwink large pop counties to that degree, it's hard to think things will change no matter how bad our govt gets.
So would an electoral college in each state help to equalize things? Probably not possible but it could put the larger counties and cities on hold.
So where does Rove need to stick his little white board Mr. Bigun? :silly:

You may not know this, because national races get all the attention, but over 100 school boards nationwide flipped conservative in this election cycle.
This will have a greater impact on our country's future than anything the 118th Congress does in the next two years.
