Democrat Leigh Finke Is Minnesota’s First Transgender Lawmaker

The first transgender lawmaker was elected to the Minnesota House on Tuesday night after Leigh Finke (D) won the District 66A seat.

Nope! No such thing as a "transgendered" lawmaker exists!

Bigun asks:
"And again, I'll ask you @Fishrrman just who would you think might populate this new Continental Congress you keep blathering about?"

So I'll answer:
Selected delegates from the red (and a few purple) states, same as for the earlier ones.

And I'm not talking about "elected" delegates.
Thinkers, writers, even regular folks who have risen to a measure of distinction.

From Texas, among "the rest"... that might include... YOU.

Consider the first Continental Congress...
Who attended?
What did they discuss?
When they first convened, did they even know in which direction they would eventually go?

When things have gone as wrong as they have with "blue America", where do the red states begin in their effort to "right" things?

How can they even proceed, without discussions, meetings, some kind of joint plans?

The solutions to the problems traditional-minded Americans face today aren't going to just "materialize" in front of us.

And finally, an ominous thought I saw posted elsewhere yesterday:
The electoral process ain't gonna solve this.
What will...?

We don't have an army.  We have a political party that works against us in order to protect their own selfish interests.

McConnell still has his job.  Rick Scott still has his job.  Ronna McDaniel still has her job.  And Kevin McCarthy is about to get a raise.
And Donald Trump's ego continues to be stroked by a bunch of blind sycophants.

But, we have alot of talent and ability at the state level, and much can be changed there.
The Republic is lost.

Carville: Dems Should Have Lost 57 Seats – Trump Is Reason We Didn’t

Democratic consultant and political commentator James Carville said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that former President Donald Trump was the reason Democrats did not lose up to 57 seats in the House of Representatives.

It's not a difficult task to distance your Party from Donald Trump without bringing up the 2020 election.  On policy alone, there was a heck of a lot of things that Trump signed off on or failed to do that was detrimental to us.  We simply needed Republicans to step up, highlight those failures, and spell out how they would be addressed.

Bar none, the #1 problem that both the United States and the Republican Party faces today is federal spending.  Yet I don't recall a single Republican candidate explaining this to the American people.  Not a one.

Republicans deserved to lose.  But they really don't care that they did.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Not in my State.  The GOP here in Georgia is a cancer.  Their greatest enemy is Conservatives willing to charge forward and make changes for the better.

Ronna McDaniel needs to go....right now!

She's simply not up to the task. Too much broad brush, too much figurehead and bureaucrat, too little leadership.
The Republic is lost.

I know. Some states have the same problems we have at the nat'l level. It's almost harder to fix than beating the Dems.

Just some snippets from an article in today's Epoch Times about members of "The Squad" and how they did in their elections:

"Omar, 40, had 74.3 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting while Ocasio-Cortez, 33, had 67 percent,"

"Tlaib had 73.7 percent of the vote with 66 percent of precincts reporting early Wednesday."

"Pressley, 48, holds the seat for Massachusetts’ 7th Congressional District.
Veteran Donnie Palmer challenged Pressley, who had 84.5 percent of the vote with 95 percent of precincts reporting, according to The Associated Press."

"[Cori} Bush had 72.8 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting, according to the Missouri secretary of state’s office.

If you think renominating Donald Trump is going to result in victory then I want what you’ve been smoking

You couldn’t get people to vote for candidates that he endorsed in the midterms. How the hell do you plan on getting people to votecfor him in the 2024 election?

Some of you need to step outside your bubble.

You couldn’t get people to vote for candidates that he endorsed in the primaries. How the hell do you plan on doing that in the general election?

I just want to hear an answer to this one question.  Substantively, what would a second Trump Administration offer?  Seriously.

A border wall?  Couldn't get that done even with a GOP Congress.
Fire Fauci?  He had four years to do that.
Cut federal spending?  Our debt increased by trillions under his watch.
Clean out the establishment?  He embraced them at every turn.

The truth of Donald Trump is staring us in the face.

If Masters and Laxalt win, then there will be no motive for the Georgia GOP to sabotage Walker's campaign.  If either loses, then the Georgia GOP will have a vested interest to ensure that the Dems retain control of the Senate.
