With McCarthy selected as the new Speaker of the House; the funeral for the GOP has begun.

So ... when is the MSM going to announce that the GOP has won the House??

I couldn't have said it better.

That's it, I'm going @roamer_1.  I cannot fight for the GOP anymore. Mrs. Liberty and I are letting our terms as Executives expire in January.

And I can't see voting for Donald Trump again.

A core societal dilemma posed by ballot harvesting is that elections will increasingly be decided by the least engaged and least interested voters. For example, the Election Day votes of parents enraged by Dems pushing pornography at school are easily negated by 1 good harvester.

Hey cry babies!

They are still counting votes in Orange County, California, and Republicans are pulling ahead.

Why?

Because ballot harvesting was done by Republicans.

Sorry no one told you to do this elsewhere.

Except me in 2018 but who is keeping track?

I think this is true, but I wonder how that will play out in a quick turn-around run-off in Georgia?
Warnock is obviously going to win ... or maybe "win"? ... but do they already have contingencies in place for those LIVs?  (Beyond the lawsuit they've filed to allow early voting, of course.)

Tom Emmer Elected House Republican Whip

House Republicans on Tuesday elected National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Tom Emmer (R-MN) to be the next House Republican Whip.

"Republican Whip" from MN"????

That probably means he will be offering whippings for discount prices. Moscow is probably to the right of Mn,politically.

Reading that saddens me although it does not come entirely unexpected @Cyber Liberty  I know what betrayal feels like.

This was been coming for decades.  My experience is done with two blatant steals that we worked very hard to win, and McConnell & McCarthy get to keep losing it for us. Those two are very far from an exhaustive list.

Doesn't this need a roll call vote from the new caucus in January?

You have always been a reality that others are becoming to recognize.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Donald Trump is a private citizen. He spent $4 million helping Blake Masters in the AZ Senate race

Mitch McConell, the Senate Slumlord, spent $0

Tell me again how Trump is the problem

Vulcan observes (about AZ):
"With a GOP Governor and AG, both houses of the legislature GOP"

Won't be for much longer, if things keep goin' the way they're goin' in Arizona.

Based on the results of November 8th that we see with our own eyes, Arizona is "sinkin' into the blue".

Sinking faster than another "Arizona" did on December 7, 1941.

Object to what I've posted above?
Whaddaya gonna do about it?

potatohead spudders:
"our country is WAY more liberal than we think and there are now more of them then there are of us.  Look how the younger folks voted...overwhelmingly for the democrats. Our universities are churning out these brain washed kids.  The older folks who are conservative are dying off.  I don't see how we can possibly overcome this.  Game over...."

Recall an old song by The Doors, I think it was named "Five to One".
Jim Morrison says it plain:
"They got the guns...
...but we got the numbers"

@Fishrrman there's absolutely no guarantee that when DeSantis' term is up that FL will remain red.  It is hard to predict at this point in time what the future holds.
