And I remember telling people that she didn’t lose her show because of what she said. She lost it because of who she said it about. If she were to say that about Clarence Thomas, she would’ve still had her show.
Reading the cheering on of censorship on this thread is very alarming. Despite the attempts to church it up, you all still are supporting censorship
And I have no doubt that if this was a Democrat administration doing what Trump and his supporters are doing to opinions that they don’t like to hear, you all would be agreeing with me
But there seems to be a lot, and not just on this issue, but a lot of overlooking and cheering on many things that Donald Trump is doing that would never be allowed from a Democrat administration. I haven’t changed. I’m still the same Goldwater type conservative that I’ve always been. You all have changed because you’re afraid to be critical of Donald Trump.
What’s to stop the next Democrat administration to cancel people like Matt Walsh or Ben Shapiro for “spreading lies and hate?” You all are short-term thinkers because you believe you’ll have this power forever. I can just about guarantee that the next administration will be a Democrat one.
So now both the left and the right are engaged in cancel culture. And this is why I voted for the libertarian candidate in 2024.
You all sound just like liberal college students who try to silence conservative voices on campus. I never thought I would ever hear from a republican administration an attorney general, threatening to go after hate speech that doesn’t exist.
