Were Russia as powerful as it was supposed to be then Ukraine should have been rolled up in seven to ten days like most people expected...including myself.
Turns out that Russia is not so mighty after all.
And the fact that here we are three years after Russia launched the second phase of their war to conquer Ukraine is not anti-Russian propaganda, it's proof that Russia is weak and unable to conquer Ukraine.
At this point Russia is unable to extricate themselves from this war. Putin cannot negotiate even a cease fire while Russian territory is in Ukrainian control and while Russia's war aims are not satisfied. The Russian people will start to wonder why Putin is negotiating with the West (globohomo) or with the Ukrainians (Nazis) and they'll start to ask what the hell near a million of their men died for.
The Russians might have rolled over Ukraine but for a couple of factors.
First, the socialist (leftover Soviet) mindset toward maintaining equipment. As long as the forms were filled out right, pass the vodka bottle.
Second, mud.
That combination led to what should have been fast moving armored vehicles becoming stranded on their rims as tires shredded and the vehicles bogged down. The Ukrainians took advantage of that, destroying some and capturing others.
The other item is the extensive and innovative use of drones, to hunt everything from tanks and individual soldiers to oil refineries. That adaptation to reconaissance and anti-armor and anti-personnel use of cheap (relatively speaking) UAVs has changed the future of warfare, and pummeled the Russians (not to mention the unmanned water drones hitting Russian boats).
While Russia seems to have an endless supply of meat to throw into the grinder (like they did in WWII), the Ukrainians don't, but have used drones as a significant force multiplier, one which helps their troops stay out of harm's way. They continue to improve their tactics and strategy using those platforms.
