Ok -- so April 28 is the deadline, which is a little over a week away.   He's giving them till the 22nd.

According to AI -- Once War Powers Resolution (WPR) timelines expire (60 days, or 90 with extension), the President must terminate the use of U.S. Armed Forces and withdraw troops unless Congress declares war, authorizes the specific action, or is physically unable to meet. The law requires immediate cessation of hostilities and removal of forces.

Though the resolutions favored the War Powers,  I don't know if the votes are going to be there to declare war?    Perhaps with Trump continuing to move the goal posts on negotiations, the April 28 deadline gives Trump a way out and he can blame Congress?? Likely Iran knows there's a deadline.

After this, the regime subjected Ahmad to months of endless torment, threatening him to keep his mouth shut and even arresting him for visiting his wife's grave.

Ahmad took his daughter to her grandparents, because she kept asking for her mom and it broke him inside.

The regime began fabricating crimes against him and were planning to torture him for the rest of time. They refused to even let him grieve in peace.

The pain became too much to bear, and Ahmad has according to reports taken his own life, after announcing his intentions.

It has been 47 years of these barbaric atrocities happening every single day.

This is Iran under islamic occupation.

It was never about a nuclear deal or sanctions.

The Iranian leadership are not fighting for optics, they are fighting for their very survival as a dictatorship.  They have about 20 million hard supporters and are the ones in control of who has or does not have weapons.

There are 3 situations that will happen

1. Americans boots on the ground, with support from Persians.
2. America and the Iranian dictatorship come to an agreement
3. Civil war consumes Iran, probably resulting in millions of deaths and the displacement of many more millions.

The situation is complex as hell and this idea that some side is gonna win or lose like it’s a PlayStation game is for the birds.

America cannot afford another 5 trillion dollar war, Iran will not give up when 20 million support them.

Iran remains at the top of the list of countries we bring people to the USA on the Diversified Visa Program.  Literally every year, Iran is number 1 or 2 since 9/11.  We are talking about thousands every year getting Greencards to come to the USA.  Therefore, the terrorist threat to the USA is real, and ever present with this many Iranians in the USA.

That's why they have heavy earth moving equipment in the tunnels - they are not stupid and have been preparing for just this possibility for 47 years, so they can dig out, as the surface teams dig down. The only egress they need is for launching missiles and drones from within a particular section of a tunnel in a complex of tunnels in one region of the installation, covering many square miles.

I believe he is running out the clock; whether or not we've used up our stockpiles of munitions, I don't know.  He's given Iran a deadline of this Wed., the 22nd -- the War Powers Act expires next Tues. on the 28th. 

Time wise, basically it gives Trump an 'exit' which he can blame on Congress as I doubt that Congress will declare war on Iran.  If Congress does decide to declare war obviously that changes everything and my assessment of why Trump keeps trying to negotiate when he knows Iran will never agree to our terms nor will they abide by any agreement  is dead wrong.

Oh for crying out loud; here we go again!!   The delegation reportedly includes Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and advisor Jared Kushner, with discussions.

Once again, we have Kushner involved.  Why?  Obviously, he and Witkoff haven't accomplished Jack squat and Vance is sticking his neck out.  Where is Rubio???  Kushner needs to go home to Ivanka and the kids and Rubio needs to be involved instead.

Iran explains why no one fought back as US forces boarded ship

The command of Iran's military, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, offered an explanation for why Iranian forces did not fight back as U.S. forces boarded and seized an Iran-flagged vessel on Sunday.

“Due to the presence of some family members of the ship’s crew, they faced constraints in order to protect their lives and ensure their safety, as they were in danger at every moment,” Khatam al-Anbiya said.

The U.S. ultimately disabled the engines of the M/V Trouska and seized the vessel without incident.

The Israeli Air Force killed several Hezbollah operatives who "violated the ceasefire understandings" and posed a threat to troops in southern Lebanon today, the military says.

In two separate incidents, soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade spotted several Hezbollah operatives in the Bint Jbeil area, which is located in the IDF-held security zone.
