They make their own air - no vents to drop anything down.

Probably true, but they'll still need egress....

Time's a ticking .... negotiations either need to be agreed to (big mistake) or -- the  U.S.  needs to resume their strikes.

Also -- how much longer does Trump have under the War Powers Act, though it is my understanding that the Senate voted to allow Trump to continue on -- so -- a vote by both House and Senate?  I'm not familiar with the process.

That's a great question.

He has 60days...from Feb 28th

Key Recent Developments:

Senate Blocks Measure: The Senate rejected a resolution (47–52) attempting to limit President Trump’s war powers regarding Iran.

House Failure: A House resolution aiming to curb military action against Iran failed, 213–214.

Ok -- so April 28 is the deadline, which is a little over a week away.   He's giving them till the 22nd.

According to AI -- Once War Powers Resolution (WPR) timelines expire (60 days, or 90 with extension), the President must terminate the use of U.S. Armed Forces and withdraw troops unless Congress declares war, authorizes the specific action, or is physically unable to meet. The law requires immediate cessation of hostilities and removal of forces.

Though the resolutions favored the War Powers,  I don't know if the votes are going to be there to declare war?    Perhaps with Trump continuing to move the goal posts on negotiations, the April 28 deadline gives Trump a way out and he can blame Congress?? Likely Iran knows there's a deadline.

𝐍𝐢𝐨𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐠 🇮🇷 ✡︎
@NiohBerg

🇮🇷 An unspeakable atrocity has just come to light. The whole world needs to know what is happening under these internet blackouts.

During the January massacre, IRGC demons shot and murdered Saleheh Akbari in front of her husband Ahmad Khodaei, inside their home.

Saleheh was a nurse, and had offered to help injured Iranians fleeing Basiji thugs. For this, their door was kicked down, and she was killed in front of her husband and 8 year old daughter after stepping in to protect him as he was being beaten up.

And from there, the nightmare only got worse.

They confiscated and raped her dead body at the morgue, taking pictures of what they were doing to her. Then they sent the images to her mortified husband, using her own lifeless hand to unlock her phone and call him.

After this, the regime subjected Ahmad to months of endless torment, threatening him to keep his mouth shut and even arresting him for visiting his wife's grave.

Ahmad took his daughter to her grandparents, because she kept asking for her mom and it broke him inside.

The regime began fabricating crimes against him and were planning to torture him for the rest of time. They refused to even let him grieve in peace.

The pain became too much to bear, and Ahmad has according to reports taken his own life, after announcing his intentions.

It has been 47 years of these barbaric atrocities happening every single day.

This is Iran under islamic occupation.

It was never about a nuclear deal or sanctions.

The irony of you who has the the Star of David to post this is a bit laughable though considering the situation in Gaza.

In reality there is almost no morality in war, from either side. There is only death and destruction.

Dr. Eli David
@DrEliDavid

To translate what he's suggesting into plain English:

Trump has two wags to end this war:
1. Humiliate the regime in Iran
2. Humiliate America and himself

Of course they are cheering for option 2.

no he is correct, when is the last time a war was “won” without boots on the ground?

The Iranian leadership are not fighting for optics, they are fighting for their very survival as a dictatorship.  They have about 20 million hard supporters and are the ones in control of who has or does not have weapons.

There are 3 situations that will happen

1. Americans boots on the ground, with support from Persians.
2. America and the Iranian dictatorship come to an agreement
3. Civil war consumes Iran, probably resulting in millions of deaths and the displacement of many more millions.

The situation is complex as hell and this idea that some side is gonna win or lose like it’s a PlayStation game is for the birds.

America cannot afford another 5 trillion dollar war, Iran will not give up when 20 million support them.

Japan, 1945?

I'm thinking Option 3.

I'm not seeing anyone embracing that idea.

Another?  America has never fought a $5 trillion war.

How so?  Do you have examples there similar to the one described in that post?

The IRGC announces to the world what matters most to them - money from oil sales and their new toll booth.

Operation “Economic Fury” has been ongoing for 5+ days

Iran is losing at least $438 million per day per FDD

As I said before, the regime can only sustain this max for 30 days.

This week the squeeze is going to hit.

Xi promised Trump no weapons are being sent to Iran. We will soon know

The blockade is hurting Iran.  How do I know?  Because they are telling us:

Irans VP:

“The security of the Strait of Hormuz is not free. One cannot restrict Iran's oil exports while expecting free security for others.
The choice is clear: either a free oil market for all, or the risk of significant costs for everyone. Stability in global fuel prices depends on a guaranteed and lasting end to the economic and military pressure against Iran and its allies.”
