I'm not one for polls, but perhaps if they keep showing Harris as way ahead, perhaps the DEMS will become complacent and stay home?  Or it could have the opposite affect and people throw in the towel and give up on voting for Trump. It could go either way.

The term is "push polling" which means to push a result with the intent of creating a bandwagon effect.

In this case, convincing people that Harris is winning and to help firm up her support and demoralize Trump supporters even if Trump is really winning.

I also suspect the major polls are preparing the way for massive voter fraud to happen again.

The Bolsheviks did the same thing, only not getting on their bandwagon had more dire results. (If allowed to continue the way things are, that isn't saying the results could not be similarly dire here. After all, there were those who called for people who would not get COVID jabs to be put in camps or even executed for supposedly constituting a public health threat to those who were "vaccinated").

yeah, wait until after Labor Day until worrying about all these polls. Most people aren't even focused on the election at all right now, but if Kamala isn't up by several digits at that time, she will probably lose.

Pretty sure that iterative weighting decisions are one of the major deception tools the industry uses, and we don't.

If you don't like the outcome, it's pretty easy to tack on a new weighting variable like education.  Maybe you get what you are looking for.
