I'm really starting to like this site !!
Justin Trudeau and Barack Obama say "ISIL". The rest of the world says "ISIS". Hmmm ...

@mystery-ak

Is there a way to resize how an image is displayed, if I have an image that's very large?  Something similar to the old "width=" HTML tag or the like?

Yes.

You put the width you want inside the img tag, so:

Code: [Select]
[img]whatever image[/img]
is changed to:

Code: [Select]
[img width=500]whatever image[/img]
I tend to use 500 or 450 - kinder on tablets and phones.

Thanks - I didn't see a button for linking user id to user name, so I wasn't sure that simply typing @ plus the member name would work!  Not a bad feature.

Is there a quick link to how to post graphics on a thread?
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Dunno. I upload mine to photobucket and copy the non-http address it produces and enclose it with

Code: [Select]
[img][/img]
Which is appears below the "change color" drop down when I post reply.

edit - use the link that looks like this

http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp221/drw509/facepalm.jpg

and add the tags

Post images?

Yes, I  am not good at html or any other code.  In fact in my 16 years at TOS I always resorted to cut/pasting from Sandbox threads, and then added/deleted what I needed.

Something similar here?  Sorry for being in dark ages.

I was afraid that would be the case.  Why can't they be marked as the caucus threads were marked to make it blatantly obvious?

We have never had a situation where people have needed to be separated before. It is all new to us too.

The only thing I can suggest is checking at the top of the thread. It shows you where you are and who specifically, if anyone, is moderating that section.

Go check in the welcome thread. They've been talking about it for days and appear to have figured it out.

I don't see a solution there.  All I see are people talking about which browser doesn't have the problem.
