I would not be surprised of two things.

Dan Bongino ends his life similar to Vince Foster, and Hillary Clinton is noted visiting the West Wing a number of times with a notation of Donald time.  Hmmmm!

Yes, the minute thatBongino and Bondi had some heated discussions and he was rumored to quit, whether he stayed or exited, his life was in jeopardy.  I agree, things might not end well for him.  At this point, staying closer to his enemies is likely his safest bet.

Well, it's not even what was originally promised...folks want it all out, going back to Bondi's February statements about the "list" sitting on her desk, followed by truck loads of files in the SDNY

So where is all this stuff, and why is Trump suddenly all defensive and nasty about it, basically telling his supporters to shut up.  And where is Bongino?  Nobody has seen him or heard from him, and he hasn't posted anything on his social media accounts since July 8.  He's gone completely dark and is MIA.

The grand jury transcripts or whatever were never part of the original promise since everybody knows those types of records are always under permanent seal.  So this latest scheme to try and calm the waters is too clever by half, and is fooling no one.

Waiting for the GJ transcriptions will buy months of time to break new crises.

So murder would be a more acceptable risk for the victims?
Is that a threat?

Through your own admissions @jmyrlefuller  I know you have an inventory of developmental shortfalls,.  Respecting this,  I'll answer your question with one word, hoping you can understand and accept it.  The one word answer is:  NO.

 :facepalm2:  @libertybele

Bongino was not "rumored" to quit ... Bongino threatened to quit.  It's his stupid MO.  The only jeapardy he's in he put himself in:  if he threatens to quit again, it will be accepted and he's out.  Few put up with this workplace blackmail twice.

Meet the side of Bongino you seemed to have missed.  He threatened to quit three times in as many years, not including his most recent.

Quote
In March 2021, Cumulus Media signed Bongino to replace The Rush Limbaugh Show on its talk radio stations

On October 19, 2021, Bongino said that he opposed corporate vaccine mandates, although he said he was vaccinated. He called on his employer, Cumulus Media, to end their vaccine mandate, which had been announced in September. Unvaccinated employees at Cumulus had already been fired on October 11 and replaced.

"You can have me or the mandate. But you can't have both of us", Bongino said on his show. After taking nearly two weeks off, he returned to announce he was negotiating his ultimatum with Cumulus, and starting a fund for former employees of Cumulus fired because of the vaccination mandate.

On December 11, 2022, Bongino announced plans to end his Cumulus radio show at the conclusion of his contract.  Cumulus began phasing his show out of its stations' lineups in June 2023.  However, in December 2023, he reversed course, securing a multi-year contract extension with Westwood One.

On April 20, 2023, Bongino announced his departure from Fox News, citing failed contract negotiations.

Same here in Pennsylvania.  Our grocery bills have not gone down...a pound of bacon goes for $7.99 still, and gas is still at $3.19 per gallon.  And don't get me started on our monthly $600 electric bill...
Move to a cheaper place.

Paid $3.99 for a pound of back today and filled up at $2.41 per gal gas here in Texas.

This way I can eat what I like and drive where I want without as much pain.

Yeah. $3.19 is the average price the day I made my post up thread a mite. 87 octane gas is down another penny, here, to 2.74 and 9/10/gallon. While not as cheap as Texas, it's still well below the national average. About my only beef is with beef prices, but they are up all over, with beeves going for $2.00 a pound on the hoof (live weight) That will come down as herds build, and they will, now that fuel prices make haying etc. more economical and product prices make it worth it.

Gas is still around 3.50 up here. Eggs are still over 3 bucks, but under 3.50 if you shop it... And AA Large are back around, so new layers are finally up and running, I bet. Beef is swinging a bit. Seen as low as 1.60, and as high as 2.25 on the hoof - But you probably know all that swinging is the price ratcheting down. So it's all going in the right direction.

Since I raise black angus, am not complaining on higher beef prices.  Feed and fertilizer are up bigtime and herd size here is very low.

Cattlemen are restocking herds.  I just sold 4 600# bull calves for almost $8,000, well over $3/lb.

Texas is higher in one thing, it seems.

That surprises me. At least up here, we tend to be way cheaper than the national average because it's beef country. You'd think it would be the same by you.

Angus country too, way more than any other thing.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said that there will be no vote on some documents relating to the Jeffrey Epstein case before Congress breaks for the August recess.

Johnson made the announcement after “the House Rules Committee advanced the measure last week, and as the lower chamber prepares to break for the weeks-long August recess on Thursday,” per the Hill.

Johnson told reporters that the House will not vote on the resolution before the August recess, adding that he wants to give the Trump administration more time.

“Here’s what I would say about the Epstein files: There is no daylight between the House Republicans, the House, and the president on maximum transparency,” Johnson said in the Capitol on Monday. “He has said that he wants all the credible files related to Epstein to be released. He’s asked the attorney general to request the grand jury files of the court. All of that is in process right now.”

“My belief is we need the administration to have the space to do what it is doing and if further Congressional action is necessary or appropriate, then we’ll look at that,” he added. “But I don’t think we’re at that point right now because we agree with the president.”
