Trump directs AG Bondi to work on unsealing grand jury transcripts in Epstein case: 'We are ready'

President Donald Trump late Thursday directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to work on releasing grand jury transcripts in the case of Jeffrey Epstein.

It's unclear exactly when any testimony may go public. The Justice Department is expected to file Friday asking a judge to unseal transcripts.

The order came after a barrage of criticism against the Trump administration following the release of a joint DOJ-FBI memo that concluded there was no evidence that the disgraced financier had blackmailed powerful people, kept a client list or was killed while in jail.

The memo has created deep fissures among Trump supporters who have complained of a lack of transparency from the administration. A source told Fox News Digital that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino had been considering resigning over the matter, though he has not stated anything publicly.

The president, meanwhile, has pushed back at the criticism, calling the charges a "hoax" and contending that his supporters are being "duped" by Democrats. Trump posted to Truth Social on Friday morning, "If there was a ‘smoking gun’ on Epstein, why didn’t the Dems, who controlled the ‘files’ for four years, and had [then-Attorney General Merrick Garland] and [then-FBI Director James Comey] in charge, use it? BECAUSE THEY HAD NOTHING!!!"............

Wanted: Jeffrey Epstein explanations

President Donald Trump’s administration needs to provide additional explanations for statements that Attorney General Pam Bondi and United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey Alina Habba made about evidence associated with Jeffrey Epstein.

In a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel dated February 27, 2025, Bondi stated:

    By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained.

Did Bond receive the materials related to Epstein’s “clients”? Why did she request materials related to Epstein’s “clients?” Does the federal government have materials related to Epstein’s “clients” that are not publicly available? If so, what is in those materials, whether specifically or, if a court order is in place, generally?

Wouldn't the released documents need to be relevant to the indictment?

The indictment covers a specific period of time (2002-2005) and does not include his honey pot island, so wouldn't relevant flight logs be to/from his residences in NYC and Palm Beach?  And the way the indictment reads, the exploitation is for Epstein's pleasures, solely.

Jeffrey Epstein was indicted by a New York grand jury in 2019 on charges of sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.

Specifically, the indictment alleged that from 2002 to 2005 Epstein allegedly worked with several employees and associates to ensure that he had a steady supply of minor victims to abuse, and paid several of those victims themselves to recruit other underage girls to engage in similar sex acts for money.  Epstein enticed and recruited dozens of minor girls to his residences in Manhattan, New York, and Palm Beach, Florida, to engage in sex acts with him in exchange for money. He was also accused of paying certain victims to recruit additional girls for the purpose of sexual exploitation.

Epstein's arrest in New York came after a prior plea deal in Florida that allowed him to avoid federal charges and serve a reduced sentence on state charges related to prostitution. This lenient agreement drew considerable criticism, and the subsequent New York indictment aimed to address the more serious federal offenses of sex trafficking. However, Epstein died by suicide in his Manhattan jail cell before facing trial on these charges.

I was speaking specifically of Donald J. Trump not being involved...not being a victim of Epstein escapades.
