I am sorry, but I do not consider Rep Thomas Massie as a TOP REPUBLICAN.  MSN goes out of their way to place significance to this lowly discontent, and distort the simple truth.  There should be repercussions for this false reporting.

Washington — Lawmakers across the political aisle offered a mixed response Saturday following President Trump's announcement that the United States launched strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities.

Immediately following Mr. Trump's announcement, Congressional Republicans, including Sen. Lindsey Graham and Sen. Ted Cruz, backed Mr. Trump's actions, while a number of leading Democrats condemned his decision to launch the attack without consulting Congress.

In a televised address Saturday night, the president described the strikes as a "spectacular military success" and said "Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated." He warned of "far greater" attacks if Iran does not "make peace."

Not only do I not see Massie as a 'top Republican', he is wrong about the Constitutionality of conducting surgical strikes without Congressional approval, especially in an environment where informing Congress beforehand risks OPSEC and could jeopardize the mission.

Moving thread about Rep. Massie saying Iranian strikes are unconstitutional to Politics category, but may later merge with main thread about the bombings.

Some Democrats also are alleging unconstitutionality, and posts about that will be merged into this one.

Massie is a reliable fiscal conservative, but it seems to me that ever since his wife died, he seems to have gone off the rails on other issues, essentially siding with the Dems.
