Well that's a different perspective.  But if Zelenskiy's silence was a condition for US aid, then it's the US that is in default on that agreement.  Fully $100 billion earmarked as 'Ukraine aid' that never made it inside the Ukrainian border.  Agreements are a two way street.  If the US reneged on their end, I don't see why Ukraine should abide by theirs.

Apologies for any confusion.  Again, the topic was Zelenskiy badmouthing Carlson.  And in that he is totally justified.  But he's was never our puppet, nor should he be.  And the Ukrainian President shouldn't be Russia's puppet either.

Come on.  That's not implied nor what I stated.  Z should be appreciative of the help that he's gotten from the U.S. period.  If it weren't for the U.S. pouring billions of dollar in aid and in munitions, Ukraine would be pretty bad off.

No.  What I am implying is that Z shouldn't complain about the help that the U.S. has given him, nor the aid that he continues to get.  That is all.  Zip it perhaps was the wrong wording.  Z should be able to speak freely, but complaining about aid I find offensive.

We cannot control Putin. We certainly couldn't control what Biden has done with any agreements, nor money not making it to Ukraine.

We've had a regime change and hopefully we'll see some sort of resolution between Putin and Ukraine.

Conflict in the area has been going on for decades.  There's no telling what Putin's next move is, though I would like to think that Trump may be able to somehow contain Putin.  :shrug:

Zelenskiy has never complained about the aid he is getting.  He has complained about the aid he is not getting.  Imagine sitting in Kyiv, or Kharkiv, or Odesa, Dniepro, Lviv, Chasiv Yar, Vovchansk, Bakhmut, etc., listening to the American President announce aid packages going to Ukraine that weren't actually going to Ukraine.  I'd be pissed, too.  And I damn well wouldn't keep my mouth shut about it.  Biden was out there collecting political points from his supporters for his solid support of Ukraine while diverting those funds elsewhere.  Want to guess how $1.5 billion showed up in Kamala Harris's campaign chest in 48 hours?  Ukraine aid.

Z can say whatever he pleases about Tucker as far as I'm concerned. Tucker is a media personality, nothing more. Foul mouthed? Perhaps. But that  seems to be the modus operandi in today's world. Not that I like it.

As far as I can see, if he is concerned about the US brokering a "deal" with Russia and withdrawing support why would he not try to form a new protective coalition? And why would he not make the point that the aid that has been received from the US is not what is being reported?

The fact remains that Ukraine was invaded and has suffered devasting loss. But is still standing against a much stronger adversary. Incredible in my mind. Biden offered him a plane ticket out and he refused. These people are fighters and I will be devastated if Trump throws them under the bus.

Elections? Puulleeeze! Our country has (thankfully) never had bombs raining down on it. How do  you have elections under those conditions? I read about the voter turnout in our country and it is abysmal. On a bright, sun shiny safe day. So the execution of elections in Ukraine would be close to impossible. I could be totally wrong, but Z may not be too sorry to get out of the hot seat, given there was a proper election.

Right. Everyone is equating Zelenesky with Poroshenko.Maybe Zelenesky has skimmed a little, maybe not, but that would be chump change compared to what Sniffy Joe's minions got. He got aging munitions at top dollar, which we got the tab for. Where the "humanitarian" aid went is a question for Elon's crew, but my bet is that was siphoned off through a net of NGOs.

IMO, he's looking at Joe Rogan's success.  There's enough a niche out there to support more than Rogan.
