Tucker has been dubbed pro-Russia by many. Apparently, Zelenskyy agrees:

Zelenskyy unleashes angry foul-mouthed rant against ‘blogger’ Tucker Carlson
February 5, 2025 | Sierra Marlee

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy unleashed a profane rant against Tucker Carlson’s allegations that he rules like a dictator.

Zelenskyy has a bone to pick with the independent journalist who he says is working for Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also denied all allegations made against him on Piers Morgan Uncensored, saying he is doing what he believes is best for his besieged country. ...

Elsewhere in the interview, he addressed Carlson directly with a rather profane request.

“It seems to me that this journalist – I do not remember his surname, excuse me, Tucker. Yes, yes, Tucker is his name – he needs to more deeply understand what’s happening in Ukraine, to stop working for Putin, to stop licking his ass,” Zelenskyy spat. ...

What set VZ off:

Tucker Carlson
@TuckerCarlson
A dictator is someone who ignores elections and rules by violence. Zelensky meets that definition but Piers Morgan loves him anyway.

Lets see... Ukraine was invaded and nearly consumed by Russia and is in a battle for its very survival and Tucker and crew blame Zelenskyy for not having elections which are impossible to have under those circumstances. No candidate that opposes the Russians can campaign because the Russians will assassinate them. One slip up by Zelenskyy's security and he'll be dead too. How do people even vote when full on war is occurring in many of its cities.

Yet Tucker has little to say about Putin running sham elections and murdering hundreds of thousands of people. That's why Tucker can go screw himself.

Before weighing in, I'd like Zellinsky to explain to us where the missing aid went.

Putin's a once in a lifetime POS despot murderer, but at least that human garbage isn't spending my tax dollars.

You mean the missing aid that never arrived there???

It was siphoned off on its way there by Biden's deeps state.

Tucker sucks. Remember his little propaganda blurb on how everything was perfect in Russia?

The best was when Putin laughed in Tucker's face that it was too bad he didn't go to work at the CIA like his daddy.

I think Tucker is great!  I don't listen to him all the time, but  his speech at the GOP convention was so off the cuff and he was in such awe, I found him to be refreshing.  He has grown on me since I watched his first newscast and I like him.

we here in America have held elections every four years including during the Civil War. I don't want to hear it.

Let's propose a deal: he resigns, his successor gets whatever is needed to stabilize the border at 1991 lines. But he won't agree to that.

First, Ukraine isn't a civil war. Second, no confederate state got a vote.

If the US looked like Ukraine today there would be no vote here either. It's in a fight for its very existance.

If there were an election in Ukraine, VZ might not win. I'm trying to find a more recent poll, but ...

Zaluzhnyi leads Ukrainian presidential poll
The former Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's armed forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi leads the polls by wide margin as Ukraine’s next presidential election with double President Zelenskiy's support.
By bne IntelliNews November 26, 2024

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine's ambassador to the UK and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, has emerged as the frontrunner by a wide margin in potential scenarios for Ukraine’s next presidential election, according to polling released on November 26 by the Social Monitoring Centre.

The survey, conducted between November 15 and 21, marks the first assessment of voter preferences since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

Zaluzhnyi garnered 27% of support when respondents were asked whom they would vote for if an election were held next Sunday (November 24). Current President Volodymyr Zelenskiy followed with 16%, while former President Petro Poroshenko secured 7%. Other notable figures included Kyrylo Budanov, head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, with 6%, and ex-Speaker of Parliament Dmytro Razumkov with 4%.

When respondents were allowed to select a secondary candidate, Zaluzhnyi retained 15% of preferences, followed by Budanov with 12% and Zelenskiy with 6%. ...

Could be a case of be careful what you wish for because Valerii Zaluzhnyi is far more aggressive than Zelensky.  He won't surrender at any cost.

Remember him?  Zelensky canned him after his much vaunted counterattack stalled after only 5 days.

Poland?  Denmark?  France?  Norway?  Estonia?  At least when those countries announce aid going to Ukraine, the aid actually goes to Ukraine.

So your saying that Z hasn't received any money or munitions from the U.S.???

It likely isn't the amount that the Biden administration has claimed, but Z has gotten help from the U.S.  If he wants that to continue, he needs to zip it.

Trump has made contact with Z and we'll see what happens from there.  Trump is NOT responsible for what Biden has done, period.

Uh, no.  There isn't anything in my post that even remotely suggests that.

So US military aid should be conditional on Zelenskiy only saying nice things about Tucker Carlson.

What? That wasn't even implied.

The topic of this thread is 'Zelenskiy said something bad about Tucker Carlson.

@libertybele  offered this conditional if-then statement:  "If he wants that to continue, he needs to zip it".  Or in other words, 'If Zelenskiy wants US Aid, then he needs to restrain himself from saying anything'.  This conditional statement was a direct response to Zelenskiy's criticism of Carlson.

So this absolutely positively was implied, @mountaineer .  Tell me what am I missing here?

Eh... we had elections all during WW2.

Eh... I don't remember bombed out cities, 20% of the country occupied by a foreign army, large number of dead citizens and a large portion of the country's remaining citizens being refugees in other countries...

WTH.

Before weighing in, I'd like Zellinsky to explain to us where the missing aid went.

95% of it never left the USA and most of that never left New York City's financial district. This has been stated over and over again in this topic.

Myself, I have long criticized the Biden regime for sending weapons and ammunition to Ukraine that were already slated for disposal and then charging the American taxpayer for them as if they were new.

Worse, the money for the replacement weapons and ammo had already been appropriated so what the hell was all of this money for? Because it sure as hell wasn't for Ukraine or our armed forces.
