I actually sat and listened to her speech.  She delivered an alright speech, but she seemed uncomfortable. The dress IMHO actually detracted from the speech. I wonder what she was thinking in picking this dress or if someone had advised her on what to wear.  In thinking back on all of the outfits she has worn that have been so tastefully chic and appropriate  when meeting dignitaries of foreign countries, this dress seems so out of character for her. Certainly a more tailored and subdued color would have been much more appropriate.

Don't particularly care for the this outfit. 

The piping stitch 'screams' the designer tried too hard, IMO.  And for the hem of the slacks to touch the ground while wearing 3-1/2 inch heels?    WTH??   If she falls, somebody should be charged with assault and battery.

For a good part of my life I wore 3" heels almost every waking hour.  Even with 2 chunky babies balanced on my hips.
