Melania Trump wore several different outfits on Thursday. She began her day in a Ralph Lauren jacket, cream trousers, Chanel ballet flats, and carried an Hermès Birkin to depart the White House, before emerging from the plane in an olive shirt, white jeans, and Converse low-tops in Florida to visit victims of Hurricane Irma. Upon her return to Washington D.C., the First Lady joined the President at the White House Historical Association dinner in the State Dining Room. For the occasion, Trump relied on a familiar name from her evening-wear repertoire, Monique Lhuillier.

The silver embroidered evening dress fit well within Trump’s wheelhouse. In the past, she has called on similar pieces for formal occasions such as the champagne Lhuillier dress she donned for the Ford Theatre’s annual gala or the shimmering Dolce & Gabbana dress for this year’s G7 Summit in Taormina. Tonight’s dress featured a velvet ribbon around the waist and a demi-cape that provided a nod to the '20s.

Sorry frankie.   Never even owned flip flops.    Have never worn sweat pants out of the house, and always try to dress appropriately for my age.  As for stilettos.........great for clubbing, trolling for guys, or gals, as the case may be.   Have never walked the runway or red carpet either.  So sorry to disappoint you.

Melania just spoke at the UN- lovely, heartfelt speech about children. No pics yet, but her hot pink dress had gigantic puffy sleeves that did not work. She looked immense. Strange choice.
