That one is best viewed on "Ignore."    Sanctimonious ain't the half of it......

Amazing, isn't it?  We left, en masse, from TOS to get away from the pro-Trump fascists there....those who tried to bully, intimidate and mock us into silence.  And here we are....yet again.....getting some of the same BS treatment.

With a few big differences - there is indeed a small, vocal, angry minority here whose posts are almost always dedicated to showing everyone else how wrong they are.  But, they are a minority. The site owners do not enforce any particular point of view, and there are always others here who are willing to discuss and disagree or agree.

I heartily concur!  I don't use ignore much but she's earned it in spades!

With all due respect, @XenaLee you're too new to decide what is and is not glaring, especially when it comes to the pro-Trump people.

One. Last. Time.:  This has been discussed ad nauseam.  Sorry you missed it.  But, please don't go throwing around terms like "disconnect" just because you did.

Done.

So, what?  It was a fluke?  I just got ""lucky""?  I merely asked a pertinent (to the conversation) question and aside from the dismissive "already addressed that" quips, I get schooled on what not to say around here?  Okey dokey then.

I don't believe in using the Ignore feature.  Not unless someone is flat out stalking me.  And I doubt that this forum would put up with such stalking as I have seen elsewhere (thank God).

Well.....yeah.   All I was asking for is an explanation.  Didn't even get a link to one of those so-called "already discussed ad nauseam" conversations.  Do they really exist here?  We may never know.  (lol)

For me, the ignore feature is best for flow of conversation, and seeing only actual thoughts from posters, either pro or con.

Right now there are only two who just cannot do that; who have absolutely nothing to say that is not snarky, evasive, or downright mean.

But, I have been stalked by one whom I have on Ignore, and putting her on ignore stopped it.  You'll have to see how it goes and you may find it best to do the same, even if only temporarily.

As for the forum, the big difference......... no, HUGE difference.......... here is that bad behavior is always frowned on.  Rather than sanctioning the Trump bullying as happens on TOS, here it is strongly discouraged.

I don't either but there are two or three here who just love to engage in circular arguments which I just can't tolerate.

I am happy to hear that.  Thanks for the heads up.

We'll see how it goes.  My position is.....the reason I (or we) am here is because we are supposed to be able to 'freely' express our views here as opposed to TOS, where silencing of the opposition (conservatives that do not support Trump) was the norm and standard.  Acceptable behavior there was to bully, intimidate, mock, insult report and drive away anyone that wasn't in lock-step with the Trumpist agenda.  I came here expecting or hoping to enjoy being able to say what I really think about Trump without receiving harassment.

Whoa, there, Thunder!  I was just saying that people can have differing opinions here!

As for the "noob" comment, I thought that was disgusting and a gratuitous slam.

Sorry if I managed to write my comment in a way that was easily misunderstood.

I can tolerate circular arguments.  Been doing so with lefties for almost two decades now.  What I don't appreciate is the dismissive, holier than thou BS.  Which is, come to think of it, yet another trademark behavior trait of the idiot left.  Hmmm....

No, sorry if that came off a little harsh.  It certainly wasn't directed at you....you're good.  Guess I was still a little ticked off....lol.  My bad.

Whoa, there, Thunder!

 :silly:

I friend of mine from Breckenridge, west of Fort Worth, used to see "Whoa, there, Lightening'!"

You 2 should meet.

The harassment only comes from one or two.  The rest engage in decent behavior (at least most of the time).

You're free to express your honest views about Trump here, without fear of reprisal.

And you will get a lot of AMEN's!  from people here who are actually conservative.

Thanks.   And....just ran across yet another pertinent article on Trump's ""success"" record ....this time re: how he is mishandling his campaign.  What a disaster.  My only question is....is it truly ineptness....

or is it intentional?

That is a very important question....

My opinion, for a very long time, is that he is merely a stalking horse for his good buddy, Hillary.

I do think he's inept..... his multiple business failures as proof....... and I think he's clueless about campaigning, proven by the dire financial condition of his campaign, but I truly believe he is trying to lose so that Hillary can be President.

He's stated that she would be a wonderful President in the past, and the way he's still going after Republicans and only going after Hillary minimally, seems to be proof that he is actually trying to lose.
