Scaramucci out as WH communications director: report

White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is out 10 days after he started his position, The New York Times reported Monday.
Scaramucci was brought in just more than a week ago, leading to former press secretary Sean Spicer's resignation.
He faced backlash for a tirade against White House chief of staff Reince Priebus published in The New Yorker last week. Priebus was ousted from his position last week.

Most people think he just doesn't know grammar, misplacing the "only," but perhaps he meant it the way he saI'd it. As he said it, it could mean he can hire losers all he wants, support loses all he wants, etc. But with the best people, all he will do is hire them. He won't support them; he won't trust them; etc.

for wear, but the other jock had a hell of a time finding a new job after that---he really shot holes into
what was then a nine-year career.

Yep. I've seen that myself. The issue with Scaramucci is simply that he was promoted above his station. He was not able to ingest the idea that everything he says and does is a representation of Trump. When you are representing a company or in this case an administration, decorum is mandated. You must conduct yourself with dignity and respect at all times.
Kelly understands this fully, based on his experience. Scaramucci did not. Buh bye...

If you have ever been in Korea you would be astounded how close the DMZ is to Seoul...the city has practically grown up around it. Not to mention the 35,000 US troops sitting there. The DMZ is infiltrated by scores of NK tunnels that are big enough to drive a tank through. There are hundreds of thousands of well trained and armed regular NK troops fiercely loyal to their crazy leader.
This is not Iraq or Lybia...this will mean war and the administration had better be prepared to go to Congress for a DOW first. The cat is out of the bag the only way to deal with NK is to get the Chinese to take him out IMO.

The US Military is pretty good at that, as my two examples illustrate, it's the stabilization that comes afterwards that we suck at, we haven't done it successfully since the Marshall plan and MacArthur's Japan.
I haven't been in the Orient at all but I do realize the proximity of Seoul to the DMZ and the American Forces commitment there, it's all a CF, and that's why every President, since Truman, has kicked the can down the road and Trump tweeting shit isn't really encouraging to me. /rant off

The fine men and women of our military are the best in the world. "Decapitation" works if the distance between our forces and the enemy is half a world away, on the Korean peninsula we are literally in the belly of the beast. Whack the head off and you also stand a good chance of killing you too...
There are more than 11 million people including our troops minutes away that would be immediately be thrown into war, with an incalculable loss of life. World sentiment would quickly turn against the US and calls for military retaliation against the rouge US by Russia and the Chinese would very well be irresistible....

My fervent hope is that is that Mattis and Kelly can keep these idiots in the WH from killing us all but I'm not optomistic.
Problem is, the current idiots are in this predicament because of two decades of preceding idiots who did nothing. History isn't on the side of fervent hope.
Near the mid 20th Century, leaders did nothing when a madman with bad intentions repeatedly violated agreements and dared anyone to stop him. There were talks, concessions, and more agreements, because everyone remembered how terrible the previous war was and didn't want another. That, unfortunately, led to the worst conflict the world had seen, because nobody would do what was required until it was too late.
Almost two decades ago, we found ourselves with an administration coming in with a controversial victory after two terms of liberal ineptitude. During that era, a foreign adversary had declared repeated intention to harm us. Within a year, we had 9/11. Now, we find ourselves in a similar position. I don't know if something catastrophic will happen again domestically, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if a major event happens sometime before the end of the year that requires our intervention.

Here, once again, are the cold, hard realities of the 2016 election: Ted Cruz, a career politician who won his home state by the lowest percent in primary history, could not beat Donald Trump. That's it. Game over.

Immigration laws are being enforced and deportation, real deportation are up
Conservatives are being appointed to the courts
We are getting out of Syria.
We are winning the war on ISIS and Trump is not micro managing it.

No he can not do it all by himself, write your congress people and tell them to vote to repeal OCare, tell them to get on with tax refroms, etc. Defend him from all this Russian BS in you local paper and on Twitter, etc. Expending him to do it all on his own is really just more of "sitting it out" and the hell with the country. In short sour grapes from sore losers.
Except the reps and senators aren't listening. Trump's biggest problem is a lack of real leadership and action. He's sitting back and saying 'bring me something to sign.' As a 'great deal maker,' he should have leadership from both parties or their staff in constant meetings with his advisors, hammering out legislation. If they refuse to meet or make headway, actively recruit and promote candidates to replace them in vulnerable areas. He can't fire Congress, but he can bring his agenda forward with competent staff and administrative stability.
Use that big mouth and twitter account for something productive. Stay focused and on message. First, get a message. Saying 'handle' multiple times in a sentence isn't one.

Trump is doing just about all of what I laid out. Where it can do it on his own authority it is being done. When he needs Congress to act, well things are not going as well.
First, you said he is doing these things. Then you say he isn't doing them but Congress is to blame. If he doesn't have the authority to do them, how can you claim he is doing them?

Even working afternoons I haven't broken my early rising habit. I'm up later than the 4 or 5 AM than I used to get up but I'm still up at 6:30 or so most mornings. I'll try to grab a nap for an hour and I'll be good to go to work at 4:45.
I stopped at Meijer's last night and bought the first alarm clock I've owned in years. I have to be up by 5AM because I have a 7:30AM appointment with my Ophthalmologist. I'm going to leave work early tonight so I can try to get to bed before midnight for once.

It also occurs to me that their blindness runs so deep, they can't even see how many actual conservatives they've lost - as in, most of us.
This isn't like Bush, where we would criticize some of his actions, but still generally support him as a GOP president. Every conservative I know - from my parents, to my best friend, to my wife, to the casual acquaintances I see at church - just want Trump gone. They are embarrassed by him. They'd cheer impeachment and the installation of President Pence, so long as it happens in the first year so Pence has three years to pick up the pieces.
To me, this is the most amazing thing. The Trumpettes *should* be able to read the derision on this board and understand that they may have won the primary (because of spoilers like Kasich and Rubio refusing to get out), but they are now a significant minority of GOPers. THAT ALONE should explain to them the damage they've done. A conservative board should be friendly territory for them, but it's NOT.
They can't figure that out.

One of my boys is a blue-eyed redhead and couple of them are blue-eyed strawberry blondes. The only one of the two blonde sons that is old enough to grow facial hair has red whiskers. And every bit of that lovely red is courtesy of their grandmothers. Love it!

My mother was a redhead..... but I got my hair from Native American grandmothers on both sides, mostly my father's mother. I do have some red highlights though. Have the redhead (Irish) temper, but I get over it fast (Cherokee). It's frustrating. Cause sometimes I really, really want to stay mad...lol.
