So this is the redrawn map? Or is this the original district makeup?

The current district.  The redrawn map is still being slugged out -- lately, in the courts.

It’s the same district as it was for the previous congressman.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Republican should win since Trump won by 20 points and he made the big rally there.  I don't know the inside of both campaigns except Republicans put in 5.5 million and Dem put in .5 million (saw that on TV).   It does mean something if the Dem wins.  Rep really should win.

John King, CNN, is exceptional with the maps - always watch him on any election night - he knows which county each party is strong in and weak in and keeps track of it as results come in.  Still more Republican county numbers to come in.

If the GOP/Trump lose this is it safe to assume there may indeed be cracks in his proverbial 'Blue Wall'?   Hell, it appears that even the USW Union who he tried to buy off with Tariffs is looking the other way?
I could be wrong in my unfounded analysis.

Just read that Dems have 75% turnout, compared to about 50% for GOPers.

Eventually the GOP is going to have to remember how to win elections. This can't keep going on like this, handing an organization as evil and controlling as the Democratic Party seats left and right.

U.S. House, Pennsylvania, District 18
Percent   Candidate   Party   Votes   Winner
54%   Conor Lamb   Dem   52,392
45.4%   Rick Saccone   GOP   44,071
0.6%   Drew Miller   Lib   588
291/593 precincts reporting

Almost half the vote is in.  Sacconne better pick up the pace .

Really? Seems like it's Saccone that needs votes.

Likely won't know the final result until tomorrow morning. I wonder how they are culling zombie and illegal votes, or if they are even trying to do that?

Watch King if you can.  He knows Dem must have "x" votes in certain areas to win over Rep as he knows where the votes were for Trump.  He keeps track of each area as votes come in, comparing them to what Trump got and where he got them.

That would be strange state law if precincts didn't have to report tonight.

this from NY times:Precinct results are not currently available in Westmoreland County, a heavily Republican part of the district. We’re monitoring the county-level results closely, but for now we can’t responsibly make a forecast without more detailed information about where in Westmoreland County the votes are coming from.
