I've been involved in media relations/public relations for one Presidential funeral (Ford) and one Inauguration (Obama)
I've also guided a Top 40 radio station to #1 Arbitron ratings book across the board in not only the 18+ ratings demographic but the "money" demographic women 25-54 as well...allowingy station to become a Radio and Records reporting station for the first time in its 40 year history.

Nothing of note, regarding radio like you. But I recognize we live in an age of very rapid technological change, and changing paradigms.
Trump set the world on its ear, by understanding those changes better than the establishment pros.
If you like him or hate him, it is still true. No Republican since Reagan ( or most likely Reagan himself) has taken on the media establishment like he has.
I can't know if you, as a media/communication careerist, feel resentful that an outsider could do what Trump has done.
I find it to be fascinating. But I can understand that George Will, Glenn Beck, Jeb Bush might feel resentful, like somebody moved their cheese.
