Seriously, I give up. If this is what Conservatism has come to, I'm jumping this train and just being a Me-itism. It isn't event that it is referencing :baghead: but this worship of the state as the solution and be-all, end-all in such a manner should have no place in a limited government view.

She went on to liken the media’s treatment of her to how it covers Donald Trump, whom she believes will save the U.S. and, therefore, the whole world.

“We are talking about the future of not only of America but of the last genuinely Christian country on earth and thus the world,” she said. “If we lose America, it is lights out for the entire world for a thousand years.”

Coulter explained that God has a role in lifting up Trump’s candidacy: “It is like the fall of Rome but, thank God, and I am not using the Lord’s name in vain, I mean that absolutely literally, thank God for raising up Donald Trump and giving us a chance to save the country.”

In this case, if it was just Coulter being a loud mouth, it shouldn't.  However, if you consider Coulter an 'attention hound' and have a problem with what she says, does that change your opinion of Trump who puts her on a pedestal? He is still taking her with him to his rallies opening for him. Maybe that means you should think differently of either Coulter or Trump?

We both know the answer to your question.  The desperate have been willing to throw whatever they can dig up against the wall to see what sticks.  I predict it to ramp up considerably in the next few months.   Some people will never understand that there is a percentage of the electorate that will never be swayed by such foolishness!

It isn't 'guilt by association' if the person is specifically put in a position by another. Guilt by association implies indirect connections, not direct. In this case, Trump puts Coulter in the role of opening for him at his rallies, that is direct judgement of the person to represent him. That can't be called 'guilt by association' any more than dismissing that same charge when a President appoints a bad judge.

She is Trump's Flavor Flav.  I find it funny.  The Hype Woman who makes Trump seem less ridiculous by comparison.  A fairly common marketing method.

That pretty much describes it, the circus it is going on, and how all this is being played. I wonder how long before they have a children's chorus singing mmm mmm mmmm and Roman columns too.  Maybe bring in Kanye West while we are at it.

Well, I guess it's that if somebody that likes Trump says something that the media can make fun of - it taints every Trump supporter's intellect. 

This is how desperate they are, having to resort to playground tactics. 

Everyone knows that Coulter throws Molotov Cocktails - it's how she sells books and stays in the news.  But, because she says something that is extreme - we ALL must feel that way. 

It's to distract us from talking about the important stuff.
