They seem to believe we weren't paying attention, but alas we really did notice that Biden was a drooling vegetable and Blinken was an impotent eunuch when it came to matters of state.

Newsom Marks Hostage Deal by Mocking Trump, Netanyahu as ‘Dumb and Dumber’; Deletes Post

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), whose official “@GovPressOffice” account has been posting increasingly vicious attacks on President Donald Trump, crossed a line Tuesday by mocking the release of Israeli hostages.

NBC’s Andrea Mitchell roasted for crediting Biden for Gaza peace deal
By Ariel Zilber
Published Oct. 14, 2025, 4:00 p.m. ET

NBC News veteran Andrea Mitchell was scorched online after she appeared to credit the Biden administration for the Gaza peace deal brokered by President Donald Trump.

The 78-year-old host thanked former Secretary of State Antony Blinken for his work “creating the basis for the agreement once the two sides were finally prepared to compromise – we hope!” — a message that many read as giving the Biden team credit for Trump’s breakthrough.

“Thank you for spending two years working toward this moment,” Mitchell wrote Monday on X in a reply to a post by Blinken.

Israel's fury grows as Hamas holds onto 20 dead hostages - and raging Donald Trump orders them to disarm or he will... 'violently'

Daily Mail
By TARYN KAUR PEDLER
14 October 2025

Fury is spreading across Israel as Hamas clings on to 20 dead hostages, despite the US president threatening to 'violently' disarm them.

The terror group handed over four bodies on Tuesday night - but relatives of hostages still in its clutches took to the streets in Tel Aviv to call for the return of their loved ones.

It came just hours after the first hostages handed back on Monday as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal were named as Guy Iluz, 26, Bipin Joshi, 33, Yossi Sharabi, 54, and Daniel Peretz, 22.

On Tuesday night Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the remains of four more hostages had been returned.

'All the families of the hostages have been updated on the matter, and in this difficult hour, our hearts are with them,' Netanyahu said.

'The effort to bring back our hostages continues relentlessly and will not stop until the last hostage is returned.'

The International Committee of the Red Cross says it facilitated the transfer of the four deceased hostages to Israel and the bodies of 45 Palestinians to Gaza today.

'These operations were carried out in line with the ceasefire agreement, and it is crucial that the parties and mediators ensure the agreement is faithfully upheld,' it said.

Julian Lerisson, the head of the Red Cross in the region, says the organisation is 'prepared to fulfil our role for as long as it takes'.

(from the article)
She emphasized that Trump's agreement is not a peace deal, but a shaky ceasefire with terrorists which was only in its initial phase. Much is unresolved.

Pollack-David says Hamas has already shown signs of defiance, including using psychological tactics to maintain a sense of control.

She says Hamas called the parents of these hostages and let them speak to their loved ones , because they wanted to let them know they maintain control over them.

'I don't expect Hamas to come out in the next few days or months waving a white flag. They will do whatever they can to survive, and they're already playing these tricks,' the Netanyahu insider said.

She added, 'What they do next could blow up the whole deal.'

This is a breaking news story. More to follow.

I have a new peace deal that I have developed.

1. One last warning to Hamas that if compliance with previous terms aren't met no deal exists any longer.
2. Bombs away. Complete the initial mission.
3. Repeat as necessary.

A deadline was already set. No need to set another.

I'd guess that at least part of the reason why Hamas won't release the dead hostages is because autopsies will reveal signs of sexual abuse, torture, and deliberate murder.

My bet is that they are trying to reduce them to degraded skeletal remains which will provide little clear evidence of evil.

Hamas already got caught passing off Palestinian corpses for Israeli ones.  My guess is that they have very few intact remains of any Israelis they murdered.   They essentially admitted this days ago when they refrained from accepting this listed item.

There is only one reason Hamas gave up its hostages. Iran was neutered and removed from the area leaving Hamas hung out to dry.

None of that would have happened with Biden's crew in power.

Sources Familiar With Gaza Cease-fire Talks Say Discussions Over the Trump Plan's Second Stage Have Begun
Haaretz, Oct 14, 2025

Excavators in Gaza City remove debris on Tuesday

[...]

However, as of Tuesday night, only eight bodies out of 28 are likely in Israeli custody, with four currently positively identified as hostages and four unidentified. A foreign diplomat involved in the Israel-Gaza cease-fire talks told Haaretz that currently there is "no crisis" between Israel and Hamas regarding hostages' bodies.

"Israel took into account that there would be difficulty in locating some of the bodies under the rubble when it signed the agreement," he said.

Even if discussions on the second stage produce no agreements with Hamas and Israel resumes fighting in areas under its control, the Trump framework obliges Israel to gradually transfer territory cleared of Palestinian militants to a future international administration.

In the coming days, the parties will likely discuss how to maintain the cease-fire. They'll also discuss the establishment of a technocratic Palestinian administration responsible for public services, and a "peace council" headed by Trump and former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, which will handle reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Another central topic is the mechanism for disarming Hamas and demilitarizing the Strip, and how the parties will monitor and enforce its implementation.

The U.S. is also expected to push for the Palestinian Authority to eventually take over Gaza's administration, a move which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken against. Under the Trump framework, the Palestinian Authority would assume control only after completing comprehensive reforms and meeting criteria set by the parties to confirm compliance.

At the same time, the U.S. and Arab states plan to establish a temporary law enforcement agency, known as the International Stabilization Force, to be deployed immediately in Gaza. It would train and support authorized Palestinian police and carry out security duties, including along the borders with Israel and Egypt, in coordination with Palestinian forces.
