'Shots fired' at Charlie Kirk event at Utah Valley University

Shots have been fired at a Charlie Kirk event at Utah Valley University.
Footage from the scene showed event goers screaming as shots rang out on Wednesday.
People at the event took to social media to share details of the moment someone opened fire at the conservative's event as he conducted a Q & A session with students.

Kirk published a post on X just minutes before reports of the shooting emerged.

'WE. ARE. SO. BACK,' Kirk wrote at 2.23pm EST.

'Utah Valley University is FIRED UP and READY for the first stop back on the American Comeback Tour.'

He was shot with a larger round. Guessing 7.62 NATO round or a 5.56.

Either one of those is severely injurious no matter where they hit you.
