I think you're on the wrong side of everything...go back and review the history of the Lebanese Civil War and you will see why Reagan sent the Marines there.

Iran's underground enrichment site at Fordow was hit again Monday while Iran fired a salvo of missiles and drones at Israel and warned the United States that its military now has a "free hand" to attack American targets in the wake of the Trump administration's massive strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

The Israeli military also confirmed it struck roads around the Fordow facility to obstruct access to the site.

The Fordow facility was one of those hit in the initial attack over the weekend, and the subsequent Monday strike was first reported by Iranian state television. There was no immediate word on damage.

The barracks bombing was a long time ago. MTG probably does not remember it. Her overall point is our involvement carries risk. Some of our decisions have aged poorly, including the assistance of Saddam in the Iran-Iraq war, the airbus shoot down with no formal apology, and operation ajax. Was this latest escalation absolutely necessary, and how many years are we going to have to deal with the tertiary effects? Probably too late to ask that question now, but people are going to do it anyway.

ran fired six ballistic missiles at a U.S. base in Qatar in what is expected to be the first of several counterstrikes in response to President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb the country on Sunday.

Axios reported that the six missiles were fired at American bases housing more than 10,000 service members. The attack comes just hours after the U.S. Embassy in Qatar told employees and visitors to shelter in place Monday amid new information about the looming attack.

“The competent Qatari authorities announce the temporary suspension of air traffic in the country’s airspace, in order to ensure the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors,” Qatar’s foreign ministry said in a statement to Fox News, adding that it would “not hesitate to take all necessary preventive measures within this context.”

Actually, I saw two groups of three, both about the same MOA. Separate targets, by the look of it, and according to accounts, there were others. (Seven bombers can carry 14 MOPs).
First one breaks stuff up at it's full depth of penetration (and above), softening up whatever it punched through for the next one, which can go deeper, and the third one gets the benefit of the first two having loosened up the ground before it hits. Each bomb should go deeper than the one(s) before it, and that's how you get to the really deep stuff.

According to the New York Times, Iran coordinated the missile attack tonight on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with Qatari officials and gave advanced notice that attacks were coming to minimize casualties, according to three Iranian officials familiar with the plans. The officials said Iran symbolically needed to strike back at the U.S. but at the same time carry it out in a way that allowed all sides an exit ramp; they described it as a similar strategy to 2020 when Iran gave Iraq heads up before firing ballistic missiles at Al-Asad Airbase in Iraq following the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani by President Trump.

Maybe she doesn't know anyone hurt by Iran. When they took over our embassy and held Americans Hostage there, it was 1979. I remember, I was in Grad School. She wasn't in grade school yet.
Iran has been solidly behind numerous proxy attacks on Americans and American interests, from the Beirut Marine barracks bombing to Khobar Towers, to attacks on our troops in Iraq. Her lack of knowledge does not change the facts.
