Now might be an appropriate time for Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt to kick in.
Am sure they all have, but it is behind the scenes (like US overflying their country, among other actions)

Was surprised... actually shocked that Crude Oil futures today have barely moved after lasts night strike, and Iran threats to the Straits of Hormuz.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Can't wait to see the dipsh*t Democommies balk at this action.  They will cause further discord in this country.  They just could not be more anti American if they tried.  Schumer the Schmuck needs to go.
Their remorse here is how Trump's positive actions reflect on the weakness of their last several Dem Presidents.

It is a lasting impression for Americans on weakness vs strength.

Mostly built into pricing already, as most stocks tend to do in advance

Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi releases statement after U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

“The strikes on the Islamic Republic’s three nuclear sites are the result of the regime’s catastrophic pursuit of nuclear weapons at the expense of the Iranian people.

Ali Khamenei and his crumbling terrorist regime have failed the nation. As Khamenei considers how to respond from his underground bunker, I say to him: For the sake of the Iranian people, respond by stepping down, so the proud Iranian nation can leave the disastrous period of the Islamic Republic behind and start a new chapter of peace, prosperity and greatness.

The only sure way to achieve peace is for this regime to now end.”

Nobody believes that Iran has any ability to "close the straits of hormuz".
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists

It would be fun to watch.

Rounds says Trump notified congressional leaders of strikes ‘well within’ 48-hour window
by Sarah Fortinsky - 06/22/25 12:33 PM ET

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said on Sunday that President Trump notified Congress of the strikes on Iranian nuclear sites “well within” the 48-hour window defined by the War Powers Resolution.

In an interview on NewsNation’s “The Hill Sunday,” Rounds pushed back against critics who say the president acted outside his constitutional authority by ordering strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, including Fordow.

“The Constitution clearly gives the President the authority to act on our nation’s behalf,” Rounds said.

“Second of all, the War Powers Act, which is in place, was responded to appropriately. They were supposed to notify congressional leaders within 48 hours. They were well within that range of notifying them of the actions [that] were taken, so the law has been complied with. The Constitution is being complied with,” Rounds continued.

Rounds said the Constitution was acting just as “the founders wanted it to work.”

”The president is the chief. The commander in chief has the responsibility. Our Founding Fathers were brilliant in the way they wrote the Constitution. They understood that Congress takes a long time to act. They also understood that in times in military conflict or in times of great danger or emergencies that the president needed the authority to be able to respond quickly and effectively and decisively,” he said.

Trump tells MAGA it should drop Thomas Massie
Tara Suter

President Trump said on Sunday that the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement should drop Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) after the his pushback Saturday night against the U.S. strikes against Iran.

In a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform, Trump called Massie “not MAGA” and “a simple minded ‘grandstander’ who thinks it’s good politics for Iran to have the highest level Nuclear weapon.”

“Massie is weak, ineffective, and votes ‘NO’ on virtually everything put before him (Rand Paul, Jr.), no matter how good something may be. He is disrespectful to our great military, and all that they stand for, not even acknowledging their brilliance and bravery in yesterday’s attack, which was a total and complete WIN,” Trump said in his post.

The president name-checked Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (R) because both he and Massie have opposed the president’s “big, beautiful bill.”

“Massie should drop his fake act and start putting America First, but he doesn’t know how to get there — he doesn’t have a clue! He’ll undoubtedly vote against the Great, Big, Beautiful Bill, even though non-passage means a 68% Tax Increase for everybody, and many things far worse than that. MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague!” he added.

International Atomic Energy Agency will meet Monday
kwadington

The director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi, will hold an emergency meeting on Monday, following the damage inflicted by U.S. bombs on Iranian nuclear sites overnight Saturday.

“In view of the increasingly serious situation in terms of nuclear safety and security, the Board of Governors will meet in an extraordinary session tomorrow, which I will address,” he said.

Grossi said Iran informed the IAEA that there has been no uptick in off-site radiation levels following the attacks.

“As of this time, we don’t expect that there will be any health consequences for people or the environment outside the targeted sites,” he said. “We will continue to monitor and assess the situation in Iran and provide further updates as additional information becomes available.”

And right on cue, Trump's great friend Russia is already acting like an a-hole ...

"Kremlin warns that other nations ready to give Iran nukes: ‘Dangerous escalation has begun’"

Dmitry Medvedev, who serves as deputy head of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Security Council, claimed Saturday’s US airstrike — the first to use 15-ton GBU-57 “bunker-buster” bombs in combat — only caused minimal damage to Tehran’s nuclear sites, including the fortified Fordow enrichment plant.

Medvedev, who did not specify which countries are ready to arm Tehran, reiterated that the attacks would not stop Russia’s ally in the Middle East from acquiring nuclear weapons...

Russia’s Foreign Ministry described the American airstrike in Iran as “a gross violation of international law, the UN Charter, and UN Security Council resolutions".

“It is already clear that a dangerous escalation has begun, fraught with further undermining of regional and global security,” the ministry said in a statement...

How can denying Iran a capability they supposedly did not have change the "stability and security" of the region.

Seems to me it would make no difference in the alleged status quo.

(I think they are mad because Israel took out the drone factories the Russians were relying on to fight Ukraine.)
