If you want the looting to stop, shoot a few looters.
Then the rest will "get the message"
Joe, are you worried -- do you care -- about what the left or the media thinks and screams?
Shooting looters is for after you get the crowd off the streets, curfews established, etc.
The leftmedia is a master at emotional manipulation. Never, never forget that. Their distortions travel around the world three times before the truth gets out the door. This is no secret.
What I want is a tight, purely justifiable use of force, if it comes to that, and then have at. Once the insurrection involves the use of definite lethal force against America and Federal Agents, clean the streets and hose the blood away later (It's slippery and will smell bad).
That doesn't mean don't be ready to go from 'less than lethal' to full on SHTF mode, and employ the latter when justified, hell, bring in tactical air strikes. But the instigating incident must be justifiable in virtually any context or it will go badly in not only our press, but worldwide. So, wait for it.
The Left always overreaches, always goes that step too far, and these will, too.
Remember, the most effective looter deterrent was people on their rooftops with rifles.
