Ukraine can build their own nukes and obviously they need them.

Anything further I say, will just sound mean...  Have a good evening.

Nah, now that the UK is supporting them, let the UK help them build nukes.

On that thought, I wonder when NATO will accept Ukraine into the fold.

Was just messing with you.  When someone of Musk's talent, impact, and basic generous donation of his time....   I'd say he gets a pass and can wear what he damn well pleases.

I notice you have an inclination towards personal attacks. I appreciate your restraint with me.

Now it would be nice if you were to show the same restraint with others.

I make exceptional sandwiches on rolls that I make from my own sourdough starter. We have two kitchens and both are kept immaculately clean.

On occasion I bake bread and pastries for special events in Jackson Hole.

So while you may think your vastly uninspired putdown hurt me the fact is that I make sandwiches whose menu price typically tops $100.

It is a prideful sin yet all the same I am proud of this.

Congratulations...   But it will be a cold day in hell before  this Scottish heritage cheapskate spends that kind of money on a Sammy.

Just what kind of patron would dole out that?

@MeganC   To pay $100 for just a sandwich is ridiculous unless it's rather large in size and loaded with goodness and comes with several sides and the atmosphere must match the price of course. The people in Jackson Hole must be doing very well.  So ....I'm guessing that you own a restaurant or two?

We went to Jackson a few years ago.  It is crazy expensive, there, but I sure didn't pay $100 for a sandwich.  I think it was something  $30-35 for a Chicken Fried Steak, which  at least where I live is damned expensive.

"just a sandwich"

My signature sandwich starts with a Wagyu prime rib. It is cooked sous vide to 155F and then seared with a cooking torch. It is then deep frozen so the meat can be shaved into delicately thin slices. The resulting slices are readily warmed to 38F for serving.

The bun is a fresh ciabatta that is cooked until done, but not crusty. I was taught to make this style ciabatta from a friend of mine who baked for Clint Eastwood's Hog's Breath in Carmel.

The roll is sliced and seared in butter.

4oz of the prepared beef is placed on the roll.

This is topped with two teaspoons of my saffron aioli.

Last time I made these they were about $100 each. Probably $120 to $150 if I were to make them now.

Sounds impressive.  But your audience here , are probably  much like me, and  are meat 'n taters kind of folks.

My idea of a foodie night is getting a ribeye at my local steak house for $30, with an extra plastic cup of ranch dressing for my salad on the side.

To charge that kind of money for a Southern dish is actually a sin.

It was...  hardly no breading, and the "brown" gravy had the consistency of soup.

No way I would put out that type of money at a Subway.

Now, if I was still living in my little town in New England, I might do that for a large grinder made by my favorite family Italian place I used to frequent.

Darn it, now my mouth is drooling

I got to still admit I am impressed that she can sell sandwiches, and get that kind of dough.  Got to admit that the best pizza I have ever had (A big one) was Fifty Bucks.

Maybe she can post a pic.
