For a critique of the menswear seen during the inauguration festivities, see the pretty much unpolitical article, Opinion | Donald Trump’s Suit Didn’t Look So ‘America First’; Some of Washington came correct for the inauguration — and some looked foolish by Derek Guy for Politico. He discusses Fetterman's hoodie and shorts, Joe Biden wearing sneakers with a suit, how J.D. Vance almost got it right with his formal attire (sleeves too snug), Vivek's slim-fitting suit ("His trousers today hugged his thighs so tightly, you could almost make out the text messages on his phone"), and more.

Ok, I scrolled through FLOTUS Fashion (part 1) and you are welcome as I endured pictures of Big Mike for you. Many pictures are now missing,  but for the most part this is the outfit that I was thinking of similar, but obviously not navy nor quite the same style.  Also that hat didn't cover her eyes.

From what I've read, the bishop presiding over that service seems to have decided that it should be used to condemn Trump. The net effect will likely be the Episcopalian Church descending further toward irrelevancy.

Hmmm. She has historically ("Don't Care" jacket notwithstanding) not been super front-and-center in the political/legislative arena, so I'm not really expecting her to jump in feet first during The Donald's second term.  I guess time will tell.

Her picture IMHO exudes strength, conservatism and a readiness to serve the American people on an 'as needed' basis. I look for her to accompany the President when necessary and to meet with the wives of dignitaries, but that's about it.  I definitely don't see her becoming much more involved than that.

I really anticipate that she will stay out of the public eye more this time around than before.  Also, if she's criticized, by her picture, she really doesn't care.  Her husband the President, IS going to accomplish what is needed for America to heal.
