Europeans left to their own devices will launch WWIII.  The idiocy of the British and French knows no bounds.  Trump better tell them to limit their militarization on building up NATO, expressly for defensive purposes.

Just don't need American boys dying for another European war.  Europe is utterly idiotic with their rapture for war.  Nothing changes with them.

Russia is unable to wage a conventional war with Europe at this point period. They burnt their armies and weapons on Ukraine and Ukraine is still standing. The only issue is if in desperation Putin would try to nuke someone as a parting gift from this earth.

People have been bleeding on the fields of France and Belgium for millennia. Thirsty ground, that. Just in the last century, useless charges into the face of machine guns, trench warfare, blitzkrieg, the bombing of cities to rubble, and the slaughter of countless people, including our troops.
Europe has been in love with warfare for a long time.

The words of Washington were certainly wise.  But Europe has always been a problem child.  So many diverse cultures in such a small space, and despite leaders of these nations all being related to one another at one time, they gladly went forth and waged war with one another.  Kind of beyond the realm of reason in retrospect.

But the truth is Europe cannot be trusted, not ever.  We pull out of NATO and they will be at war with one another within 20 years.  And not just against Russia.  I can see it happening with each other.

I would like to see the USA involvement reduced to no greater than 10% of the budget for NATO.  Just enough involvement to contain their propensity to go to war with each other.  I believe they do need to step up and begin defending themselves.  And Germany, France and Great Britain all need to do more.  And I firmly believe if you as a nation have not contributed your agreed to share for the defense of NATO, you are not a protectee via Article 5.   Enough is enough.
