Trump’s special envoy puts the kibosh on Zelenskyy’s demandsFebruary 6, 2025 | Chris DonaldsonWith efforts ongoing to bring an end to the bloody war in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy suggested that his country should be given nuclear weapons if it wasn’t guaranteed NATO membership, but that’s not going to happen. In a strong reaction to what would be a catastrophic development, retired Lt. General Keith Kellogg who was tapped by President Donald J. Trump as his special envoy to Ukraine and Russia said that there are only two chances that the U.S. would agree to allow the Ukrainian regime to have nukes.“The chance of them getting their nuclear weapons back is somewhere between slim and none,” Kellogg told Fox News Digital. “Let’s be honest about it, we both know that’s not going to happen.”morehttps://www.bizpacreview.com/2025/02/06/trumps-special-envoy-puts-the-kibosh-on-zelenskyys-demands-1521006/

That wasn’t a “demand” by Zelenskyy. The rhetorical b.s. in these headlines is so off-putting.
You could also argue that it was following the Trump model of diplomacy... Make extreme demands and get what you actually wanted which was reasonable.
