No ground level video showing the refinery on fire at this time.

Here's an x.com blog post with a picture of the refinery being hit.

I wonder why the Orlon ground control station is was located near the front.

Kudos to the scouts from the 14th UAV Regiment that located the control station.

I wonder how much of Russia's refinery infrastructure was done by western companies? Now that those western companies have abandoned Russia, it may be much more difficult to repair/rebuild them.

Me too.

Does ruzzia have the "spare parts" necessary to repair the damage...and do they have the technical expertise to make the repairs?

What I would like to know is...of the refineries that have been attacked, which ones are currently in operation? and at what capacity?

☠️ In just three months, DPRK ranks have diminished by half.

Exactly, how does UKF determine that DPRK ranks have diminished by half?

My guess is unencrypted radio intercepts.

I saw a story yesterday that Ukrainian (or maybe also NATO) special forces were tracking them.

This is interesting that UKR are regularly targeting Russian Command posts. Russia use a top down approach in command which means if the commanders dont give orders there are none given. Its not like the front line troops have a say. Any opinions on this ?

⚡️ Ukraine will receive a new batch of F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands this year, says Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. The Netherlands will also provide €400M for drones, launch joint long-range strike projects, and send artillery shells, air defense systems, and interceptor missiles.

These are all things that Ukraine needs for continued success against its invaders.  €400M from the Netherlands for equipment that Ukraine actually asked for.  Contrast that with $20 billion being handed directly to RTX and Lockheed as a parting gift from the outgoing regime, with not a dime of it going to Ukraine.

The United Kingdom is providing £2 billion in military aid, as well as funding for the localization of defense production in Ukraine. January 2025

So why wasn't Biden doing any of this with the cash he supposedly was handing out?

Finland to Send $206 Million in Military Aid to Ukraine, Saying “The Grip Must Not Be Relaxed”

Amira Barkhush  |  Jan 31, 2025  |  16:41

The Finnish government has approved its 27th military aid package for Ukraine, valued at $206 million (€198 million), the Finnish Defense Ministry announced on January 31 on its website.

“This package of almost €200 million has been built in close cooperation with the Ukrainians. We are providing exactly the kind of support that will help Ukraine defend itself in an acute situation on the front. The grip must not be relaxed, but on the contrary, at this very moment the support must be further strengthened,” Häkkänen said.

The President of the Republic decided on the matter on 31 January 2025 based on the proposal of the Government. The total value of the defense equipment delivered by Finland to Ukraine is now €2.5 billion.

“I have discussed this with my Nordic colleagues this week, and everyone has the same line. Armed assistance maintains the right of independent nations to exist and protects human lives in Ukraine,” Häkkänen stated.

On January 30, Sweden announced its largest military aid package for Ukraine to date, valued at approximately $1.2 billion  .  .  .

Ordinary Russians need to feel the consequence of what they've done. It was all well and good when they were leveling Ukrainian cities. Who's going to reimburse the Ukrainians that have lost everything for Putin's "special operation". The Russians like the Germans are going to live in shame for a long time after this is over.
