Has FEMA and local LEOs fire chiefs threatened those other helicopter pilots with arrest yet?  Just curious.

Homeland Security Adviser: Up to ‘600 People Unaccounted for’ After Hurricane Helene’s Devastation

As the death toll from Hurricane Helene crosses 220, hundreds of missing persons cases across the U.S. southeast are feared to become body recoveries.

Today I had my first direct encounter with FEMA. I've also heard firsthand reports from people I closely work with here on the ground about similar incidents. A trend is forming. I'll do my best to provide an accurate, unbiased analysis of it here.

Buckle up, this is a long one.

Today we convoyed to Pensacola NC. The route had just been partially cleared from the North. We loaded up 10 vics with generators, filters, charcoal, and all the blankets we could fit. Our large convoy took all hour to make the trip over the must treacherous roads I've seen yet. We finally arrived safely at the fire station. We were informed by a female "logistics officer" that they were not accepting any more donations until Monday, and to take our supplies back.

Some locals who were distributing supplies from that fire station told us that FEMA had taken over and was doing an inventory. They also told us that they were only distributing animal feed and hygiene items like toilet paper. We did our best to distribute our load anyway. We sent ATVs into the hills to knock on doors. I put a cardboard sign on my truck advertising what we had to passers by, and managed to offload some of it. In the end, we were forced to return with 70% of what we came with.

I reported the incident to the church leadership and they were stunned. The pastor's wife told me that something similar happened today at the Mitchell High School, where American Red Cross workers arrived, kicked out all the volunteers and took the supplies to "inventory" them.

Summary: FEMA and the Red Cross seem to be methodically taking over distribution centers and shutting them down to "inventory" them
. They also sent representatives to our distribution point at the church, but left us alone.

Analysis: Prior to this incident, FEMA had only been observed in an administrative role, but the results of that role are now coming into effect. They are attempting to centralize control of supplies and are allowing bureaucratic red tape to interfere with distribution.

Recommendations:
-Drop off supplies at churches only. FEMA has no authority to seize anything from a church, for now.
-Send a route recon ahead of planned convoys to check for roadblocks and verify that supplies will not be rejected at the destination. Motorcycles are ideal.

The longer FEMA delays, the more bodies there will be, and the more difficult recovery efforts will be. The Red Cross lost my support in '79 in Grand Forks, ND. More people woke up to them after 9/11. But FEMA has been weaponized to carry out the dirty work of the invasion and is covering the Administration's collective ass by reducing access to the devastated areas and people. If the bodies aren't recovered, people unaccounted for will be put under "missing", and not included in death tolls.

Bottom line, though, is that instead of coordinating private efforts to maximum effect, they are taking a 5 day workweek, 9-5 approach to a 24/7 problem. That will end poorly for a lot of the predominantly white (because they had no slaves to free) mostly God-fearing (because you live closer to Him in the hills) salt-of-the-Earth people in the Appalachians, a group I came to know, love, and respect in my time in the region.

While none are perfect, these are just the sort of folks this administration has fomented the culture war against. Now it has the perfect weapon--and all it has to do is as little as possible, and hinder the efforts of those who were getting things done.

This is America. Avoid them if you can, make them arrest you to stop you. Get local LEOs involved to run  interference. Get the word out any way possible, and this can be thrown in their faces.

Helicopter pilot arrested for helping Helene victims.

Wall Street Apes
@WallStreetApes
MUST LISTEN 🚨 Kamala Harris Admin ARRESTED a man for bringing helicopter full of supplies to Hurricane Helene victims

“There was a man that took off yesterday in his helicopter to go up in the mountains to drop off food. He landed and got arrested and said he was interfering with a government operation, but there's no operations going on.”

“I'm currently in Asheville, North Carolina with my company doing disaster security for a dialysis company, and we're also doing search and rescue for patients to bring them to dialysis so they don't die.

This place is a war zone people and the military is not here.

And the reason I'm pissed because I was part of the operation during hurricane Katrina. I was stationed in San Diego and within 96 hours we were in Louisiana. And these bastards are not sending the military here.

There's so much destruction. There's no news crews here. That's why you're not seeing it. The American people should be angry at what our government is doing to this town. There are people hurting here.

There are so many people dying. I drove past a young kids about 5 to 7 years old. They were brother and sister, and they were looking for their parents. We got them to a church. These young kids don't know where their mom and dad are.

And the military is being f*cking hamstrained by these damn DOD f*cking  executives. If you're not angry, you should be. Because this is what our government thinks about us. They're not here to help us. We have to take care of ourselves.

There's townsears that are self policing. We drove into towns where the the town folk came up to us and said, what are you doing here? So we're looking for patients. We're trying to get them help, and they welcome us with open arms. This is bad, people.

You're not here. It is very bad. We need water. We need food. We need clothes.

I'm in a budget motel, and I'm very grateful, and I feel somewhat guilty that I have a roof over my head and a shower. And it's right across from the airport.

There was a man that took off yesterday in his helicopter to go up in the mountains to drop off food. He landed and got arrested and said he was interfering with the government, a government operation, but there's no operations going on.

I'm sick to my stomach that our government treats our American people this way.

And then when they get slapped in the face, oh, here's $750. After we sent over $200,000,000,000 overseas. Alejandro Mayorkas, you're a traitor to your country.

Sounds like a re-telling of the incident from last week in which an assistant fire chief threatened to have a private pilot arrested for essentially rescuing a stranded couple on a mountain.

Someone prove to me that this is any different of neglecting a certain demographic, than what "W" was accused on in '05.
It is different in a couple of ways.

One, after '05, you'd think they'd have their stuff together. What worked, what didn't. Lessons learned, and all that.

Two, W didn't neglect anyone, the assets were there waiting, including national guard, but the governors didn't call them in. Either those Democrats were trying to make Bush look bad, or they wanted to maximize the results.

Three, this seems to be more of a Fedgov CYA, DEI based, agenda oriented, clueless operation than a department dedicated to the timely rescue of those who need it and support of those who are not directly in physical peril from the event. Your average Volunteer Fire Department, given the resources, could run rings around this bunch, and would do so with a greater sense of urgency because they know the people in their first-due response area and know the terrain.

When people talk of victims of a disaster finding out about them being there on TV or their car radio and going on line to file forms, you know they have no clue what it is like to be on the receiving end of a disaster. Seasoned disaster relief managers would know that ordinary communications methods that are taken for granted in normal times are unavailable, especially to those who are in distress.

FEMA abandons devastated NC town residents because they can’t drive around ‘road closed’ sign: ‘Nobody’s been bringing in supplies except civilians’
By Jack Morphet and Chris Nesi
Published Oct. 6, 2024, 12:15 p.m. ET

BAT CAVE, North Carolina — Residents of a tiny North Carolina town that was almost totally destroyed by Hurricane Helene fending for themselves after FEMA told them that a “road closed” sign is an insurmountable obstacle for the agency to navigate.

“FEMA called me and told me they wanted to inspect my house then called me back to say they couldn’t drive around the ‘road closed’ sign. They weren’t allowed,” local Chelsea Atkins, 38, told The Post.

“You can drive it by car for sure, it’s not that bad, you just have to drive around the ‘road closed sign’. I explained that to them. They said they couldn’t,” she said, recounting her maddening exchange with the embattled federal agency. ...
