Give it a  day or two for the real story to come out.  People in Tn was saying FEMA was confiscating private supplies and it turned out to be totally bogus.

@Timber Rattler

You expect me to believe that when there are all kinds of on-the-spot videos and reports saying otherwise by the people there, who are most affected?

Another DEMOCRAT governor like Kathleen Blanco! Anyone who votes for a Democrat at this stage is an IDIOT!

What kind of government lets FEMA spend $640,000,000.00 on criminal illegal aliens in 2024 and now has no money to help Americans who lost everything from Hurricane Helene...?

FEMA Is Out of Money After Helene, and You'll Never Guess Where It Went

https://pjmedia.com/vodkapundit/2024/10/03/fema-is-out-of-money-for-north-carolina-and-youll-never-guess-where-it-went-n4933025

Quote
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted on Wednesday that "FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.” One reason for that is that under Biden-Harris, FEMA spent $650 million this fiscal year providing services and housing to illegal aliens. And $364 million the year before that.

If you thought the Federal Emergency Management Agency was just in the business of providing relief to Americans of all creeds and colors when disaster strikes, let's just say that the Biden-Harris administration has broadened the agency's portfolio to include non-emergency aid to folks who aren't even supposed to be here.

Over the last two years FEMA dumped nearly 1 billion dollars into supporting the illegals LIEden and Kackle-a were letting flood in and were distributing about the US. Forget the Helene vs. Ukraine false choice nonsense. FEMA had plenty of $$$$ for handling this natural disaster, but FEMA just shit it away on the LIEden/Kackle-a human-caused disaster.
I am not and never have been a leftist.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

A co-worker of mine who lives outside Atlanta got through Helene without significant, but, tomorrow, he's heading up to Asheville, NC, to bring his parents back to his house.  His parents don't have power and they have medical needs that require medical services which have not been restored yet.

Right now I will take the word of Cory Mills, Rep Mike Waltz, residents on the ground and rescuers on what is happening than the words of anyone in this Admin who are all known liars.

I just saw an interview last week of Will Cain talking about what FEMA did for the residents of Maui..they got a @700 check and that's it...btw he is from Maui.

I have lived through 10 hurricanes. Have paid millions in in income tax, and received zero funds from anyone including the Feds after any of these disasters.  I paid my deductable, and worked through it with my insurance, just like 99% of everyone else I knew.

So ... Please provide a specific example of exactly what you are talking about.

I can only go by what has happened around here with talking to others and reading local articles. FEMA was virtually non-existent in helping after Ian. Regardless if you had a flood policy or not.  People lived in their cars and what was left of their homes for well over 6 months. Without flood insurance, they were completely on their own. FEMA was supposed to help in disasters; FEMA used to give low interest loans so people could get back on their feet.

After many months FEMA did provide some trailers to some people, but just recently, without $$ to rebuild, people in those trailers were told they had to get out.

Interesting don't you think that they can put ILLEGALS up hotels, kick our veterans out, and don't help LEGAL Americans during disasters.

Individual entities took care of others at their own expense.  As an example; Farmer Joe's who lost their roof, cooked food and handed out ice and water to hundreds of people around here for weeks at their own expense.  Other restaurants and grocery stores were handing out ice and water and some food.  I never saw a FEMA truck in this area. Never.

(We personally didn't flood so we were entitled to any FEMA assistance to help with damage to our home so I personally did not have any interaction from them.)

BTW FEMA will only pay out a maximum of $250,000.  Good luck if your home was destroyed. That's not a whole lot of money these day to purchase or rebuild a home.

All Americans should be 'outraged' over Mayorkas' comments on lack of FEMA funds, says Florida AG Moody
Top Biden official faces criticism over more than $1B previously spent on migrants
By Fox News Staff Fox News
Published October 3, 2024 1:00pm EDT

Even though states across the southeastern U.S. are still reeling from Hurricane Helene's destructive path, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned FEMA "does not have the funds" to get through hurricane season. On "Fox & Friends First" Thursday, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody shredded the secretary over the comments, pointing out the more than $1 billion spent on migrants.

ASHLEY MOODY: Everyone should be waking up this morning outraged by that comment. This is not something that has just happened recently. And Florida's been warning about this since this administration took over. Mayorkas has come in like a virus and infected what needs to be healthy, strong, fundamental programs to ensure the stability and safety of Americans in times of disaster.

So you heard they have taken the FEMA emergency food and shelter program and over time siphoned off hundreds of millions of dollars into basically making it an illegal immigrant resettlement program. And so when you see these states and cities around the nation declaring emergencies, even blue states, because of what this administration has done, encouraging more and more and more, developing programs to encourage more and more and more people to come here. The government, Biden and Harris, are having to fund that on the backs of the American people. And right now in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, all of these states are hurting because of this truly natural disaster, not a Biden-Harris-made disaster. They're saying we need more money. And of course, they need more money because they've been laundering it from the intended purpose of this fund that Congress set forth. Laws be damned.

As relief efforts and disaster response teams work to address the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Mayorkas issued a chilling warning about FEMA funding.

"We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season," Mayorkas said Wednesday.

Hurricane Helene made landfall last week as a Category 4 storm. It lurched up through Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.

The death toll has risen to over 190 across the affected states.

It’s to keep the American people from seeing unfiltered views of the devastation and the total ClusterF**k of this maladministrations response.

I think a suitable solution to this A-hole would be to hit him with a tranquilizer dart and then cage him in the animal shelter with the other animals, and then carry on men with the rescues and delivery of assistance.
