Ok, we all know that Joe's a zombie and a national security risk.  So.... what is the GOP doing to get him to bow out??? Better yet, I don't believe for a second that they will nominate Joe at the convention.  Right now I believe the DEMS put things in motion long ago -- Joe is merely keeping all of Trump's supporters and the GOP overly confident that Trump is a shoe in.

I said this prior to the press conference, and it seems to be holding true.

This was never going to be an explosive event.

Presidential press conferences are far easier to succeed at than sit down interviews.

Biden controls the main microphone. The press mic is secondary, and White House can manage it.

This event plays in Biden’s favor, and he’s smart to do it.

But will it plug the dam of discontent?

By the way, has anyone asked the Press Secretary about scripting questions yet??? We have evidence of this and yet no questions from the press.

If what he said at the end of his presser is true, it sounds like Biden's team has not been very candid with him about what the data is showing:  the age issue is a huge and potentially insurmountable concern and his odds of victory are very, very slim.

They truly weren't all, or even primarily, easy questions.  That Brit reporter kind of hammered him by asking "Officials here are saying off the record that your decline has become noticeable. Hasn’t this now finally become damaging for America’s standing in the world?”
