I said this prior to the press conference, and it seems to be holding true.
This was never going to be an explosive event.
Presidential press conferences are far easier to succeed at than sit down interviews.
Biden controls the main microphone. The press mic is secondary, and White House can manage it.
This event plays in Biden’s favor, and he’s smart to do it.
But will it plug the dam of discontent?
By the way, has anyone asked the Press Secretary about scripting questions yet??? We have evidence of this and yet no questions from the press.
