Congresswoman charges 'elder abuse' responsible for Biden's catastrophic debate

WND 6/28/2024

'It is time to put him out to pasture'

Joe Biden's performance in the presidential debate this week revealed him to be a senior citizen without a firm grasp on thought, words, or policy. Even facts.

And there's one person to blame for the situation that involved a senior American politician becoming a laughingstock.

Jill Biden.

That's according to U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., who was quoted in a report by the Cowboy State Daily that, "What Jill Biden and the Biden campaign did to Joe Biden tonight — rolling him out on stage to engage in a battle of wits while unarmed — is elder abuse, plain and simple."

Democrats, in fact, have openly been wondering whether they need to replace Biden on the 2024 ticket, a move with which he has said he will not cooperate.

Mass was a disaster heading into 1988; that didn't stop Dukakis from running.

Same with Arkansas in '92.

The Biden campaign confirms to FOX that not only does President Biden not plan to drop out, the President remains committed to a second debate in September

Biden's handlers are trying to validate him as the Dem nominee.

Chip Roy Calls on Kamala Harris to ‘Immediately’ Invoke 25th Amendment and Replace Biden

The Daily Signal by Tyler O'Neil 6/28/2024

A leading House Republican filed a resolution in Congress urging Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment in the wake of President Joe Biden’s performance Thursday night in the first debate with former President Donald Trump. Even Democrats and Biden supporters described the president’s performance as poor, though few have suggested a need to invoke the 25th Amendment.

“I intend to put forth a resolution calling upon the [vice president] to immediately use her powers under section 4 of the 25th Amendment to convene & mobilize the principal officers of the Cabinet to declare the [president of the United States] is unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office,” Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, wrote on X on Friday morning.

The 25th Amendment, ratified in 1967, sets up a process by which the vice president and a majority of the Cabinet can notify the president pro tempore of the Senate and the speaker of the House of Representatives that the president is unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office, enabling the vice president to become acting president. Under the amendment, the president can submit a written declaration that no inability exists, at which time he would resume his office.

Throughout the debate, Biden spoke with a raspy voice and made numerous verbal stumbles, including instances of rambling.

Laws don't apply to Democrats, silly.  They proved that with Lautenberg in New Jersey.

I'm sure she's being told not to by the DNC big wigs. If she does, it greatly complicates their actions at the convention.

If Biden stepping down becomes a reality, the Democrats are going to run somebody that has experience running a campaign and has won reelection

That’s why I believe it would be a Democrat governor.

I had a thought about Biden's debate performance. I think they juiced Biden up a little too much and he had an epic meltdown and screamed himself hoarse just prior to the debate. So they gave him something to bring him back down so as not to risk him throwing f bombs on stage. He didn't have a cold. What you saw on stage was his "normal" lasagna brain in action.

Make sense.  He had definitely been given something, with his eyes dilated as they were and looking weird and all.

Dem Rep. Goldman on CNN: Trump ‘Intimidated Your Network,’ Was Given Free Reign to Lie

Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) said Friday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that former President Donald Trump “intimidated” CNN debate moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

Is this a joke...does Khanna realize what he is saying?

Biden Surrogate Khanna: Biden’s Advisers Shouldn’t Have Agreed to 9:00 P.M. Debate, He’s ‘Much Better in the Day’

On Friday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Biden Surrogate Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) stated that President Joe Biden clearly didn’t have a good performance in Thursday night’s debate and he doesn’t know what President Joe Biden’s “advisers were thinking, having a 9:00 p.m. debate. There are probably not many people who are in their 70s and 80s around him, but he does much better in the day.”

I think Ro just reinforced the point we've been making since 2021: Joe is not fit to hold this office. The Hur report was just more confirmation.

Hey cat, that is an insult to a truly brilliant potential world leader, as indicated in the last scene of the movie BEING THERE.  One of my favorite movies, and a true classic.  You have to turn the volume almost all the way up on your TV to hear the fellows carrying the casket at the end of the movie, and they declare, 'our only option is to run Chauncey Gardiner for POTUS'.

Frankly, no exaggeration, I think Chauncey had more cognitive ability than Wrecking Ball Joe last night.  Chauncey had some brilliant lines, that were adopted by no less than the president, who repeated, "as long as the roots are not severed, all will be well in the garden".  Which was of course taken as a metaphor regarding the economy by the president and his filthy rich buddy Ben.

For those of you who have not seen the movie BEING THERE, it is a must watch.  Watch for it to resurge as folks make comparisons between it and Wrecking Ball Joe.

If you watch the movie, note that it really does not begin until minute 20 or 21.  The first 20-21 minutes is a preamble to the movie, so you MUST be patient.  One of the funniest movies I have ever enjoyed.  Fact is, when I talk to a number of friends, we still use lines out of the movie when we talk to one another, even after years having gone by.  The movie was made in 1979 or 1980.  Peter Sellers played Chauncey, and it was his finest role IMHO.

How delightful you thought of that!!!!!!!!!!

Intent was to draw comparisons to a POTUS who doesn't have the mental capabilities of complex thought to function as a president.  But you are right, the comparsions to C. Gardener stop there.  Seller's character doesn't have an agenda, and has no evil in his heart or mind whatsoever.  The real comparison is the gullibility of so many, to a poser in the office.

And I agree, that this is Seller's best acted role.   Not his funniest.....that one is reserved (coin flip) between  Dr. Strangelove or the first Pink Panther movie.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
