Biden will NOT resign! He will withdraw from the presidential race but will serve out his current term.  God help us between now and 1/6/2025!

The deadline has passed for a new candidate to be on the Presidential ballot in 16 states in 2024, including three swing states.

The only way they could add someone new is if the original candidate dies.

What will the Democrats do?

It would not! She's vice president until 1/6/2025 but that's it unless she resigns before then.
