It is so sad that he falls, trips, mumbles and is so out of touch with his surroundings.  IF Jill had any compassion for him, she would have him step down and take care of him instead of allowing him to continue on. I truly feel for him that she is allowing him to make a fool out of himself.  How embarrassing.

I reported a loooooong time ago here that the First Lady didn’t want to leave and they’ve been negotiating and trying for 2 years and that my friends within the DNC said Kamala wants to be next, but they don’t want her to be next. When I reported that I was called a Trumper. Shocking..I know. Fact is…it is and was..all true.

More from Joe's post-debate rally in NC:

NEW: The President conducted a campaign rally in North Carolina that went about as well as his debate.

1. Refers to Roe v Wade as "roverovrovoverover"

2. Appears to suggest that his son died in a war.

3. Admits on stage that he can't speak well, debate well, or walk well, while slurring his words.

4. Angrily yells into the crowd before coughing up a lung.

5. Says he intends on winning North Carolina before coughing up his other lung.

6. Slurs through parts of his speech while slamming Trump.

7. Lunges forward at the end of the speech to prove he is not old.

Biden blames age for poor debate performance: ‘Not a young man’
By
Christian Datoc

.

President Joe Biden blamed his age for a debate performance on Thursday that sparked a Democratic panic he is not fit to lead the ticket against former President Donald Trump.

At a campaign rally in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday, his first public event following the debate, Biden told the audience, “I don’t debate as well as I used to,” but insisted any concerns over his age should be balanced against a second Trump presidency, which he described as an existential threat to democracy.

“I know I’m not a young man, to state the obvious. I know. I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to,” he told the crowd. “But I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth.”

Despite spending a week preparing for Thursday’s debate, the first of the 2024 general election cycle, Biden frequently misspoke, had trouble finishing his points, and generally did little to ease voters’ concerns about his age. He will turn 82 shortly after the November election.

Biden allies have spent years defending the president’s mental capacities, but in North Carolina, the president owned his age while insisting he could still carry out his duties as president.

I saw at this last rally Biden egging on his crowd around chants of "Lock Him Up".

Except this isn't hyperbole, and time for political football "hail mary's".  And After the fallout after this debate,  don't flinch when Trump is actually jailed after sentencing July 11th.  I'll give it a 40% chance of happening.....   especially if more bad news for Biden follows like poll crashing.

Totally agree. Embarrassing and pitiful.

I need to retract a statement I made a few days ago on another thread. I said this debate would be a nothing burger. I was wrong.

Trump did color between the lines for the most part. He just stood back and watched the implosion.
There were bets going on that Joey would wander off the stage. It might have been a blessing for him if he did.  This was more than "just a bad debate". It was illustrative of what bad shape the man is in.

Even the Dems are having a hard time denying it...so it wasn't a nothing burger. I appreciate this thread because I thought I was seeing things.

Body language expert's brutal take on Biden's debate against Trump: 'Like a dead man walking'
'His eyes would become very open and almost zombie-like,' the expert said of Biden
By Michael Dorgan Fox News
Published June 28, 2024 11:36am EDT

President Biden and former President Donald Trump squared off in their high-stakes 2024 election debate rematch on Thursday and the contrast between the pair could not have been more stark, body language expert Susan Constantine tells Fox News.

Constantine says the physical difference between the candidates was noticeable from the moment they both took the stage in Atlanta, and that set the tone for the rest of the evening, with Trump purveying strength and confidence in his mannerisms, while Biden showed a tired and slow demeanor, made worse by his raspy voice, mumbled answers and oftentimes dazed looks.

"I was really concerned because the minute [Biden] walked out on that stage, I felt he [was] not feeling

"It was as if everything were in slow motion," she continued. "His fingers and his lack of illustrators when he was talking, he was like a frozen statue up there on the stage. It really was painful to watch. [Trump] had a more serious demeanor. He didn't make a lot of facial gestures as we normally see him do. He didn't flash his great big smile at anybody. He was very serious when he walked out on the stage, and it really didn't change at all through the entire debate."

Constantine added, "It made Biden look exceptionally weak, and made Donald Trump exceptionally powerful."

He needs to be presented or proven as a modern day Chauncy Gardener.

Hey cat, that is an insult to a truly brilliant potential world leader, as indicated in the last scene of the movie BEING THERE.  One of my favorite movies, and a true classic.  You have to turn the volume almost all the way up on your TV to hear the fellows carrying the casket at the end of the movie, and they declare, 'our only option is to run Chauncey Gardiner for POTUS'.

Frankly, no exaggeration, I think Chauncey had more cognitive ability than Wrecking Ball Joe last night.  Chauncey had some brilliant lines, that were adopted by no less than the president, who repeated, "as long as the roots are not severed, all will be well in the garden".  Which was of course taken as a metaphor regarding the economy by the president and his filthy rich buddy Ben.

For those of you who have not seen the movie BEING THERE, it is a must watch.  Watch for it to resurge as folks make comparisons between it and Wrecking Ball Joe.

If you watch the movie, note that it really does not begin until minute 20 or 21.  The first 20-21 minutes is a preamble to the movie, so you MUST be patient.  One of the funniest movies I have ever enjoyed.  Fact is, when I talk to a number of friends, we still use lines out of the movie when we talk to one another, even after years having gone by.  The movie was made in 1979 or 1980.  Peter Sellers played Chauncey, and it was his finest role IMHO.

How delightful you thought of that!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps the most surprising thing is that the Democrats are surprised. This is the guy who gets lost coming out of the bathroom. His incapacitation has been obvious to all his handlers. It was obvious at the G7 Conference. Every world intelligence agency surely has a trove of assessments on his mental capacity.  And the Democrats are surprised?

Our real reaction should be outrage. We should be pissed. Really pissed. What a charade the Left/Democrats/MSN has tried to pull off!

For four years running, the Democrats have been loudly exclaiming how spectacular the emperor's new clothes are.  And in a span of 90 minutes, their demeanor turns to indignant shock at the new found discovery that those clothes they've been describing this whole time do not exist.

A pox on all their houses.

Sleeper sound bite moment last night  we will fondly remember?

Trump calling Biden "Brandon" in an exchange.   :silly:

Yeah, I caught that.  Definitely the best moment of the night.

Border Patrol fact-checks Biden, says they will ‘never’ endorse him

American Military News by  Elizabeth Lawrence  June 28, 2024

The United States Border Patrol labor union corrected President Joe Biden during the first presidential debate Thursday evening after Biden falsely claimed the Border Patrol endorsed him for president.

During the 2024 presidential debate against former President Donald Trump, Biden claimed the Border Patrol endorsed him, saying, “By the way, the Border Patrol endorsed me. Endorsed my position.”

The Border Patrol immediately responded to the president’s claim on X, formerly Twitter.

“To be clear, we never have and never will endorse Biden,” the official union of the U.S. Border Patrol wrote.

They lock him up and then what happens?? He won't be able to attend the GOP convention. Will the GOP insert someone else?? And....even if he wins the election, he'd still be in jail. The only one that can pardon him is Joe. Trump cannot pardon himself. OR ... am I missing something???

Boil it all down with the facts revealed above about Nevada, Wisconsin and Georgia, I say the only answer is to remove Biden.  If he does not go willingly, look for the CIA or one of the intelligence agencies to step up and solve the problem.

As in the movie Malone, with Burt Reynolds, where Lauren Hutton is sent by the CIA to eliminate Burt.  Of course, he doesn't take the potion, and his enemies end up killing her.

But anyone that believes our intelligence agencies no longer take out someone that is a problem, think again.  Everything they do is covert.  Biden checks out in his sleep, Harris becomes POTUS.  She and the Democommies need not do anything different for the ballots for all 50 states, and the sympathy vote and many of the brainless in America, and we have a HUGE NUMBER of brainless will vote for the Democommies, up and down the line.  Kamala could well end up the 47th POTUS before the election, and she will get to serve TWO FULL TERMS.  Again, another perfect stooge, and the 4th and 5th term for an Obama controlled federal government.  And we are different from Putin's Russia how I ask????

And for all those out there thinking Trump and the WHITE HATS are coming to save the day, keep fantasizing.

I tend to agree, Joe's days are very limited. As for Harris, I'm not so sure that they won't kindly ask her to step down.  Where you and I differ is I don't think she's electable (at least not legitimately).

NY Times Editorial Board Calls On Joe Biden To Abandon Reelection Campaign

Legal Insurrection by William A. Jacobson 6/28/2024

“It’s too big a bet to simply hope Americans will overlook or discount Mr. Biden’s age and infirmity that they see with their own eyes.”

The NY Times Editorial Board has joined the chorus calling on Joe Biden to abandon his reelection campaign after the debate debacle at which Biden’s cognitive fitness to be president was called into question.

When a Democrat candidate has lost the NY Times, it’s a sign of a seriously sinking ship. After dumping on Trump, the NY Times Editors wrote:

At Thursday’s debate, the president needed to convince the American public that he was equal to the formidable demands of the office he is seeking to hold for another term. Voters, however, cannot be expected to ignore what was instead plain to see: Mr. Biden is not the man he was four years ago.

The Heritage Oversight project has set their sights on three contentious swing states where they believe taking Biden off the Democratic ticket would not allow anyone else to replace him: Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin does not allow withdrawal from the ballot for any reason besides death.

In Nevada, no changes can be made to the ballot after 5 p.m. on the fourth Friday in June of an election year or 'a nominee dies or is adjudicated insane or mentally incompetent.'

If Biden were to withdraw less than 60 days before the election Georgia his name will remain on the ballot but no votes will be counted.

Laws don't apply to Democrats, silly.  They proved that with Lautenberg in New Jersey.
