The approach Israel is using is NOT working. The killing of leaders in all these entities fighting Israel just ends with a whack-a-mole outcome.  A leader gets killed, someone is in that person's position the next day.

War is an ugly, horrid business.  And to win, one must commit to killing the enemy people in mass.  This nonsense of collateral damage is leading to the end of the USA as a world leader.  It is pure idiocy, and we force other nations to embrace this foolishness, and wars end up being perpetual. 

Israel needs to reverse engineer almost everything they get from the USA, and build all their own munitions and war making equipment.  The USA can no longer be trusted with communists running our government.  Harris gets elected, Israel will be faced with extinction.  I am sure that Iran is close to getting a nuclear device.  They will use it.  And it will only take one nuclear weapon detonated in Israel for them to unleash dozens in the direction of Iran.  And who could blame them? 

Of course, the military/industrial complex could not be happier with multiple wars running.

Clearly, you do not read what I have been posting consistently on these boards.  I am what I have self declared as a Halseyite.  During WWII, Admiral Bull Halsey made a speech in 1943, in San Francisco, and he said, and I am nearly quoting him, [note, with very long pauses between every phrase, for emphasis] 'the only good Jap, is a Jap, that has been dead for six months or more.  In a country like Japan, where the civilian population support their military as they do, the only good Jap civilian, is a Jap civilian that has been dead for six months or more.'

My position is simple.  Israel is dealing with a genocidal society, hell bent on the death of every Jew and the complete destruction of Israel.  I BELIEVE ISRAEL SHOULD KILLL EVERY PERSON IN GAZA, AND DECLARE IT TO REMAIN A PERMANENT WASTELAND.  In the future, anything moving in the area of Gaza will become target practice.  PERIOD!!!

What the USA is doing is nothing short of criminal in their treatment of Israel.  They should give them all the weapons they need. Israel has been a true ally to the USA since its founding.  Whereas Ukraine on the other hand, has NEVER been an ally of the USA.  Much of Ukraine sided with Germany during WWII, and it was an integral part of the USSR, or it wanted to be left alone until it needed our aid, and we fell all over ourselves to supply them with what will be trillions of dollars in aid.

And in regard to Biden, he has replaced Benedict Arnold as my poster boy for treason.  In Arnold's case, he was a staunch patriot before he went over to the British.  Biden has never been a patriot.  He and his whole family have been self selving traitors.

I am saying we should fully back Israel to do the same thing, for all of Gaza.  What the Biden Idiocracy is doing is perpetuating the death and destruction levied against Israel by a genocidal maniacal people.  Kill every last one of them, or until such time they surrender all their weapons, rockets, and leaders.

I don't agree with your assessment.  Sure, after taking someone out like Israel did, the whack-a-mole that took the place of the person hit might feel that way for a month or two, but time has them getting comfortable and focused exclusively on how and what they can be doing to destroy Israel.  And they resume business as usual toward that end, and nothing is really changed.

Israel has been targeting leaders for decades, trying to keep to a minimum the injury of what is considered collateral damage.  This strategy has brought brief moments of peace.  But the reality, and I have never been there, but what I see reported in news segments does not show a nation free of fear of attack.  It appears to me it is always there, that threat.  And after October 7th, how will anyone in Israel have peace of mind that their spouse is safe, parents, their children are safe at school, etc.  It is more than ever a culture of living in fear, and I say that is bullsh*t.

The only logical strategy is to destroy the enemy such that they NEVER return.  NEVER!!!!!!!

The Whack-A-Mole argument offers no realistic superior alternate solution. It also ignores the fact that killing off "mole"-leaders in large numbers deprives the "mole" sounder of leadership, experience, and knowledge. Israel is dumbing down the sounder ... and at the same time also killing off quite a few ho...errrrrr ... moles. In the real world, Israel is doing what the US has been arm-twisting, for several decades, Israel NOT to do.

Israel Retrieves Bodies of 6 Hostages from Hamas Tunnels in Gaza

Israeli forces conducted a daring and difficult operation in the tunnels under Khan Yunis, in Gaza, on Monday night to retrieve the bodies of six hostages who died in Hamas captivity.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA, or Shin Bet, or Shabak) said in a joint statement:

    Overnight (Monday), in a joint IDF and ISA operation, the bodies of the hostages Yagev Buchshtab, Alexander Dancyg, Avraham Munder, Yoram Metzger, Nadav Popplewell, and Haim Perry were rescued from the Khan Yunis area in the Gaza Strip.

    The rescue operation was conducted under the command of the 98th Division and carried out by the Paratroopers Brigade, ‘Yahalom’ Unit, and the 75th Battalion, along with ISA forces.

    The operation was enabled by precise intelligence from the ISA, IDF intelligence units, and the IDF Intelligence Directorate Hostage Headquarters.

    Following an identification procedure carried out by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Israel Police, the IDF Manpower Directorate’s Hostage team, which is responsible for accompanying the families of the hostages, notified their families and communities today. The IDF and ISA send their heartfelt condolences to the families.

    The IDF and ISA are continuing to deploy all operational and intelligence means in order to fulfill the supreme national mission of bringing back all the hostages.

At least one of the hostages had appeared alive in a Hamas hostage video in December.

In a statement, Kibbutz Nir Oz noted that Avraham Munder, 79, had been a beloved member of the community. His son, Roee, was murdered by Hamas on October 7, and his wife and grandson were abducted and later released during a truce in November.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken acknowledged Monday that Israel had accepted the U.S. proposal for a hostage and ceasefire deal, while Hamas had not. There are roughly 109 hostages still in Gaza, about half of whom are believed to be alive.
