@LMAO
Oh,lawdy,lawdy,weeze all a-gonna die lessin weeze surrindur!
WTH do you think is ALREADY happening?
The ONLY reason it isn't a trade war already is we aren't fighting back.
Do NOT think that just because there are Corporations that are based in America that they won't work hard to destroy America if they think that is in the best interests of the corporation.
After all,the ONLY loyalty that corporation are required to have is loyalty to themselves/shareholders.
All right
I guess you’re going to avoid the question so I’m gonna stop asking
It started because you said government should stop corporations from going overseas
I, along with someone else, told you the federal government can’t do that
You said that they can impose tariffs. Which, by the way, our eventually passed on to the consumer
I even asked you what’s the plan when those countries whose goods tariffs were placed on retaliate with tariffs of their own
You then danced around the question . Shareholders and corporations are not gonna lose money just because you and Donald Trump tell them it’s their patriotic duty to do such. And countries always look out for their own self interest first
And you’re also wrong about that we’ve not had a trade war yet:
US exports to China, which cratered during President Donald Trump’s trade war of 2018–19, are continuing to suffer. China is now shifting some purchases of foreign goods away from the United States. Both have the same fear: that the other side will suddenly weaponize trade flows—cut off imports or exports—in the name of security. Trying to get ahead of that, each is now attempting to diversify.https://www.piie.com/blogs/realtime-economics/five-years-trade-war-china-continues-its-slow-decoupling-us-exportsChina’s turn away from US exports began alongside its imposition of tariffs in response to Trump’s trade confrontation, starting in 2018. Trump and President Xi Jinping announced a truce in January 2020, at which point China pledged to increase its imports from the United States by $200 billion over two years. For varied reasons, China did not come close to meeting its pledged target. US exports to China barely reached pre-trade war levels even by 2021.”Had Trump won a second term, and continued with his trade policies, the results would have been some type of economic calamity. The inflation we are enjoying today wasn’t started during the Biden reign. The seeds of it were planted during Trumps tenure. Biden just stepped on the gas
