Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation / TASSEmployees of the Kalashnikov plant in Izhevsk were added another 4 hours to the work shift and forced to work six days a week due to non-fulfillment of the state defense order, employees of the enterprise told the Udmurtia Against Corruption telegram channel.
According to them, now they work 12 hours a day and rest only on Sunday. Overtime work also applies to Saturdays. The employees were not allowed to familiarize themselves with the decree that regulates such a regime.
"At the same time, the salary has not been added. Yes, there was a salary increase of 15-20% for the entire plant on June 2. But overtime is paid additionally," the interlocutors of Udmurtia Against Corruption noted.
Back in 2022, the government adopted Resolution No1365, which allows employees of the military-industrial complex (MIC), as well as enterprises working with the state defense order, to work overtime during hostilities. According to this resolution, employers do not have to ask for the consent of employees to overtime work, but must pay it twice.
The day before, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, threatened to take away military factories from owners for disrupting the defense order. He stressed that the work of the defense industry on a national scale "has been transferred to the principles of strict project management."
At the same time, military factories in Russia do not have enough workers. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov estimated the shortage of personnel at 160 thousand people, despite the fact that in less than a year and a half, enterprises producing weapons for the Russian army have already attracted 520 thousand workers. . .
