Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the FBI has begun a wide-ranging probe into parents who oppose critical race theory indoctrination on Monday, falsely alleging widescale “harassment” of far-left school board members and administrators.

Garland announced the crackdown against parents in a memorandum.

AG Garland directs FBI to combat spiking violence directed at school officials

Attorney General Merrick Garland has directed the FBI to address the increase in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence directed toward school administrators, board members, teachers and staff amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Justice Department said Monday.

In a memo addressed to leading law enforcement officials, Garland ordered the FBI to work with U.S. attorneys to hold meetings with federal, state, local and tribal leaders within 30 days to develop strategies to address the violence directed at school employees and open communication lines for threats to be reported.

"Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation's core values," Garland wrote in the memo. "Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety."

The Justice Department added in a statement that it will also be creating specialized training and guidance for school boards and administrators to aid them to understand what constitutes a threat, how to report threatening conduct and how to capture and preserve evidence for the investigation and potential prosecution.

I doubt there have been threats of violence. Parents go to board meetings and want to be heard. It's the First Amendment that's being threatened here.

Seems there are a couple of options.

Go postal and/or pull your children out.

This will take time, so pulling them out seems best.

As far as going postal, I am amazed that blood hasn't spilled.

Shouting won't do it.
Best to run a candidate that supports your principles.

Certainly educate your children to walk out.

Seems to me that Attorney General Merrick Garland may be one of the strongest Pro-Republican assets the Republicans will have come next election.

Not that the alleged Republican "leadership" has the stones to cross their black masters for fear of being called bad names.

The Department of Justice’s memorandum did not specify what it classifies as a crime and did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for clarification on the matter.

Garland’s statement follows a letter from the National School Board Association (NSBA) that asked the federal government to get involved in the “immediate threat” of violence from parents faced by American public schools and its education officials. The NSBA said the incidents could be “the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.”

Garland said there has been a “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff.” He said he is directing the FBI to work with each U.S. attorney and leaders “in each federal judicial district” to discuss strategy to address threats within 30 days of his statement.

The Department of Justice’s memorandum did not specify what it classifies as a crime and did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for clarification on the matter.

“It is shameful that activists are weaponizing the US Department of Justice against parents,” Nicole Neily, president of Parents Defending Education told the Daily Caller News Foundation in response to the memorandum. “This is a coordinated attempt to intimidate dissenting voices in the debates surrounding America’s underperforming K-12 education – and it will not succeed. We will not be silenced.”

This is a major escalation by the FedGov to silence political dissent on matters that are strictly local and should be handled by law enforcement at that level.

Suffice to say they are now rogue, beyond the law, and illegitimate, committing acts of sedition and treason.

Remember when we had Bill Barr and he didn’t go after the FBI because he didn’t want to get involved in a “tit for tat” and now the FBI is being used to intimidate concerned parents into silence?

The FBI has the power to destroy your life. If you think you have to commit a crime for them to do so, you are grossly naive about the power of law enforcement.

If they’re now an enforcement arm for Democrats, that’s a really big deal. That’s the biggest deal in the world.
