@Frank Cannon @sneakypete I don't see where Ted Cruz is "flailing." I just looked at a few recent polls which say, at worst, that the two candidates are neck and neck. Cruz is hardly desperate. But I do think that Trump's presence will help Cruz immensely and push him over the top. Besides, it's the least Trump could do for a foe he savaged mercilessly in the primaries (to the point of spreading lies and disinformation), but who since has offered himself as his strongest ally in the senate. Cruz swallowed his pride and humbled himself before the Great One. Such loyalty should be reciprocated, but I've noticed that while Trump has demanded loyalty from others, he does not always feel obligated to return that loyalty. That is wrong.
If Trump does not do his part to help Cruz and Cruz loses, Trump will have lost the best fighter he has in the senate for advancing his supposed agenda. If Trump really wants to keep all those promises he made to the voters, he would be out there doing his part to get Ted re-elected.
