Prowler arrested outside Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's Montecito home

A citizens arrest was made at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's California home, Fox News Digital can confirm.

Kevin Garcia Valdovinos, 29, was caught lurking outside the Duke and Duchess' Montecito mansion early Monday morning by the royals' private security, according to the Santa Barbara Sheriff's office. At 2:11 a.m. security called police after carrying out a citizens arrest of Valdovinos, originally from Lake Elsinore, at the service entrance.

The suspect was arrested for a misdemeanor charge of stalking without incident and booked at the county jail. He was later released on $2,500 bail.

After further examination by detectives, the incident was classified as "a violation of 647(h) PC – Prowling (misdemeanor) and not a stalking violation." The investigation remains ongoing.

A representative for the couple did not immediately return Fox News Digital's request for comment. It is unclear if Markle, Prince Harry, or their children Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 1, were there when the incident occurred.

This will be used to show Charles that he needs to pay for their security..which they have been arguing about for over a year..

One thing to be given security as a working Royal and quite another to expect security in the U.S. where they have decided to live.  Let them pay for their own security.  I hope Charles eyes are open, but I'm sure the distance between him and Harry must be heartbreaking.    Charles did stand his ground at the coronation and sat Harry three row back from the working Royals and those who are in the immediate line of succession to be the next King; William and George. Charlotte and Louis also come before Harry.   

Harry feels he is a spare, why would a spare need security?  Seriously??  Markle is a huge drama queen and a gold digger and she finally figured out she really isn't squat.

Princess Diana’s former bodyguard came to the defense of the paparazzi involved in what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claimed was an hours-long “near catastrophic” car chase — insisting that the shutterbugs are “at worst a nuisance” but “are not out to cause the death” of anyone.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex claimed they were subjected to a “relentless pursuit” by “highly aggressive” photographers as they were returning from the Women of Vision Awards, where Meghan was honored for her advocacy, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday night.

In an interview with ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” Thursday, Ken Wharfe, who was in charge of Princess Diana’s round-the-clock security between 1987 and 1993, downplayed the threat from the paparazzi.

“The paparazzi, at best, can be talked to, but at worst they’re a nuisance,” he said, citing his own experience.

“But they’re not out to cause the death of any one person. So, I think we have to be a little bit careful there.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle demanded that a photo agency hand over footage snapped by paparazzi during their high-profile “chase” in New York City — but the firm gave them the royal snub, lawyers said Thursday.

The embattled Duke and Duchess — who described their run-in with Big Apple photographers Tuesday as “near-catastrophic” — insisted they need the images to improve their own security, according to TMZ.

“We hereby demand that Backgrid [photo agency]  immediately provide us with copies of all photos, videos, and/or films taken last night by the freelance photographers after the couple left their event and over the next several hours,” a letter from their lawyers proclaimed Wednesday.

But attorneys for the celebrity photo agency refused, firing  back that the royals can’t play by the king’s rules here in the states.

“In America, as I’m sure you know, property belongs to the owner of it: Third parties cannot just demand it be given to them, as perhaps Kings can do,” Backgrid’s legal team responded.

“Perhaps you should sit down with your client and advise them that his English rules of royal prerogative to demand that the citizenry hand over their property to the Crown were rejected by this country long ago. We stand by our founding fathers,” it states.

Two unwelcome imports arrived in New York this week. You may have heard about Harry and Meghan’s big night in the city.

Accounts of their time here differ.

According to the couple themselves they suffered the ordeal of a two-hour, “near-catastrophic” car-chase with paparazzi tailing them all the way.

According to other sources (including the NYPD and the driver of the taxi the couple changed into to look humbler) the truth was rather different.

The fact is we didn´t need the authorities to tell us that. 

Every New Yorker knows that any kind of car-chase — let alone a two-hour one — is literally impossible in this city.

You can sit in traffic for two hours, sure. But actually racing through the city?

Sorry, but no. Every New Yorker can call that out as BS.

And now we have the footage to prove it.

Video of the exchange shows that the Sussexes were accompanied by the NYPD and that they moved at no speed at all.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s car chase claims, according to a new report.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that neither Buckingham nor Kensington Palace will be commenting on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s allegations of a car chase.

“Since Harry and Meghan have stepped back from royal duties, the palace generally does not comment on their activities,” the source told the outlet.

The Post has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.

A source told Page Six that no one from the royal family — neither King Charles III and Queen Camilla, nor Prince William and Kate Middleton — has checked in on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the incident.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle personally decided to walk in front of the group of photographers outside the Ziegfeld Ballroom on Tuesday night — who they later blamed for an allegedly “near-catastrophic car chase.”

The couple’s decision was made despite their security being led by a former member of Barack Obama’s Secret Service detail known as “the king of the back exits” for his ability to quietly get celebrities out of high-profile situations.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were accompanied by Chris Sanchez, a renowned ex-Secret Serviceman, as they left the Ziegfeld Ballroom on Tuesday night.

Sanchez was with the Sussexes as they jumped from a blacked-out SUV into a yellow taxi while trying to escape from the photographers who were trying to follow them back to a friend’s home.

A source close to the Sussexes told us the couple decided to walk out the back of the ballroom around 10 p.m. because they wanted to give waiting photographers a shot of them.

A new report emerged Saturday that Prince Harry allegedly has room at the San Vicente Bungalows “set aside” for him to get away from his wife Meghan Markle, 41, and kids Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 1, says The Sun.

A rep for the royal later debunked the rumor stating “This is not true.”

The source told the outlet that the room, which is close to the royal’s $15 million Montecito home, was viewed as “an escape place” by the 38-year-old prince.

Reports of the alleged room appeared after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last week and failed to post any photos of the event.

The Post reached out to San Vicente Bungalows for comment.

A spokesperson for Archewell — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s non-profit organization — denied the existence of the room.

San Vicente Bungalows is an exclusive members-only hotel in West Hollywood with strict privacy rules that state guests are not allowed to take pictures inside the establishment and all phone cameras must be covered at all times.

The Prince of Wales, 40, got social media hot and bothered on Sunday when he was spotted rowing with the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy.

He joined the crew of the HMS Oardacious in Buckinghamshire, UK, in honor of Mental Health Week.

The royals posted a clip on their official Instagram account showing William rocking black shades, shorts and a blue sweater as he ferociously paddled a boat.

Prince Harry on Tuesday lost a legal bid to challenge the British government’s decision barring him from paying for police protection during his visits to the UK.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, and his wife, Meghan Markle, 41, were stripped of taxpayer-funded police protection after they stepped back from being “working royals” and moved to the US in 2020.

Harry’s lawyers had sought a judicial review of the government’s refusal of his offer to hire police officers as his private security detail. But London’s High Court ruled Tuesday to deny the review.

The decision to remove publicly funded security was made by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures, known as RAVEC.

Prince Harry has “finally woken up to the truth” about his wife Meghan Markle, according to the late Princess Diana’s former butler.

Paul Burrell, who worked for Diana for over 10 years until her sudden death in 1997, has sensationally claimed that the Duke of Sussex is only staying in the marriage so that he can see his two children, Archie and Lilibet, grow up.

“Am I the only person in the UK that is thinking, has Harry finally woken up to the truth? Has he finally seen the truth of what his wife is doing and that he’s been brainwashed and mesmerized by her beauty or something? Because we all know that but he doesn’t seem to see it,” Burrell said on GB News Friday.

Nothing like a little semi-salacious royal gossip.  Considering the model of parenting he has from his parents, particularly his father, I'm not sure how much of a hook that would be, as a practical matter.

Even as Prince Harry’s last royal lifeline, Princess Anne has been left “furious” by his recent antics, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, unleashed a series of protocol-shattering revelations about his family in January with the release of his bombshell memoir, “Spare.”

The book was closely followed by a slew of high-publicity projects, including a controversial Netflix documentary and several high-profile sit-down interviews.

And while the Princess Royal has typically had Harry’s back in the past due to a “soft spot” for her nephew, it is now claimed that even she has had enough.

“Princess Anne is is a very straight-down-the-line and blunt sort of person,” royal expert Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine. “She says what she thinks, she doesn’t pretend anything. She is probably like her late mother as Queen Elizabeth could always compartmentalize everything she was told.”

Prince Harry seemed to be itching to leave the royal family even before he married Meghan Markle.

In a resurfaced 2017 interview with author Angela Levin, the Duke of Sussex, 38, claimed he “wanted out” of royal life.

The “Harry: A Biography of a Prince” writer had spoken to him about his desire for an “ordinary life” and she penned his thoughts for her Daily Mail column at the time.

“I spent many years kicking my heels and I didn’t want to grow up,” Harry told the journalist.

“I felt I wanted out but then decided to stay in and work out a role for myself,” he added.

The now-father of two went on to say how he is “determined to have a relatively normal life” and hoped that he would be lucky enough to have children in the future.

He then recounted what it was like to walk with his brother Prince William behind their mother Princess Diana’s coffin at her 1997 funeral when they were barely teens.

“I don’t think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances. It certainly wouldn’t happen today,” he recalled.

 Feds to appear in court over Prince Harry’s visa after drug use admissions

The US government will appear in court next week to answer questions about Prince Harry’s visa application after a conservative think tank demanded that it be unsealed, given his admitted drug use.

The Department of Homeland Security will face off on June 6 against the Heritage Foundation, which filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit earlier this month to compel the agency to release the Duke of Sussex’s immigration records, arguing that they are of “immense public interest.”

So far, the US government has refused to make the 38-year-old royal’s visa application public.

Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom at the Heritage Foundation, tweeted Tuesday that the hearing will be in DC federal court and open to the press.

Gardiner touted the upcoming hearing — likely the first of many to come — as a “very significant development.”

“It significantly raises the stakes here,” he told the Telegraph. “I think that so far the Biden administration has been stonewalling the freedom.”

Any foreign national seeking to obtain a US visa or permanent resident status is required to answer questions about their past drug use.

Under US immigration law, a visa applicant who is “determined to be a drug abuser” is deemed “inadmissible” — although immigration officials are permitted to make exceptions.
