LOL!  These kids reacted better than I did.  When we were dating, we spent a weekend in NYC and took the famous "romantic" carriage ride through Central Park. The smell was so damn strong I was ready to abandon ship and hitch back to the hotel.  I thought it was just me until Steve volunteered " I hope the wind shifts soon, this is actually starting to sting!".

Kudos to the kids!

Chatter at Royal Ascot was about Camilla’s frosty relationship with Harry and Meghan: ‘Everyone happy they weren’t here’

By Ian Mohr
June 20, 2023

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not attend this year’s Royal Ascot — the fancy horse race that’s one of the highlights of England’s social season — but their names were apparently on everyone’s lips.

And not in a good way.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla presided over the horsey spectacle that was known as one of Queen Elizabeth II’s most beloved events.

A source told Page Six, “The gossip in the royal enclosure was how happy everyone was that Meghan and Harry weren’t here.”

Prince Andrew may have kept in touch with Jeffrey Epstein months after he claims they cut ties

By Lee Brown
June 22, 2023

Disgraced Prince Andrew appears to have kept in touch with late pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein — even after he claimed to have flown to Manhattan just to dump him.

The younger son of King Charles III spent large chunks of his disastrous 2019 interview with the BBC justifying his four-day stay at Epstein’s mansion in December 2010 as a brave decision to stop seeing the shady multimillionaire who’d been released from jail months earlier for having sex with underage girls.

“I took the decision that I had to show leadership and I had to go and see him and I had to tell him, ‘That’s it,'” Andrew said, decrying his only mistake as his “tendency to be too honorable.”

He claimed that photos of them walking through Central Park were taken at the very moment he was telling the pervert he “didn’t “think it was appropriate” to stay friends.

“And to this day, I never had any contact with him,” he firmly told “Newsnight” in the sitdown in 2019, months after Epstein killed himself in prison while awaiting further serious child-sex charges.

Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, treated for breast cancer

Quote

Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has been treated for breast cancer, her spokesman has said.

The 63-year-old duchess was recently diagnosed with an early form of the disease, which was detected at a routine mammogram screening, he added.

In a statement to Sky News, the spokesman said she was "advised she needed to undergo surgery which has taken place successfully".

"The duchess is receiving the best medical care, and her doctors have told her that the prognosis is good," the spokesman said.

Meghan Markle is ‘not a great’ talent, UTA CEO says after Spotify podcast goes bust

By Leah Bitsky
June 26, 2023

The CEO of United Talent Agency blasted Meghan Markle as untalented after Spotify put the kibosh on the Duchess of Sussex’s podcast.

“Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent,” Jeremy Zimmer told Semafor at the 2023 Cannes Lions advertising festival last week.

“And, you know, just because you’re famous doesn’t make you great at something,” he added.

Zimmer, who co-founded UTA in 1991, has represented major stars throughout his career including Mariah Carey, Bryan Cranston, DJ Khaled, Chelsea Handler and Kevin Hart.

'Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent': Hollywood talent agency supremo Jeremy Zimmer dismisses Duchess as a talentless broadcaster after Spotify axed its £18m deal with the Sussexes

By Richard Eden for the Daily Mail

Published: 11:29 EDT, 26 June 2023 | Updated: 17:50 EDT, 26 June 2023

The Duchess of Sussex has been dismissed as a talentless broadcaster by one of Hollywood’s most powerful figures.

Jeremy Zimmer, who has guided the film careers of stars such as Benedict Cumberbatch and Damian Lewis, gave his withering verdict on the abilities of the American former actress after streaming giant Spotify axed its £18million deal with her and Prince Harry after just one podcast series.

Zimmer, the chief executive of United Talent Agency, said he was not surprised that Spotify had ditched the couple.

‘Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent,’ he said.

Speaking to the news website Semafor at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France, Zimmer added. ‘And, you know, just because you’re famous, doesn’t make you great at something.’

Netflix reveals fate of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle deal after Spotify dumps couple

By Nicki Cox
June 27, 2023

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s deal with Spotify may be coming to an end but their partnership with Netflix is far from over.

A spokesperson for Netflix told People on Tuesday that the pair’s content creation company, Archewell Productions, is currently working on several projects with the streaming service.

“We value our partnership with Archewell Productions,” they told the outlet. “‘Harry & Meghan’ was Netflix’s biggest documentary debut ever, and we’ll continue to work together on a number of projects, including the upcoming documentary series ‘Heart of Invictus.'”

While “Harry & Meghan” gave insight into the pair’s rocky relationship with the rest of the royal family, “Heart of Invictus” follows a group of athletes that competed in Prince Harry’s Invictus Games, a competition for wounded service personnel.

YouTuber accuses Meghan, Harry of ‘defaming’ her in Netflix doc: I’ll ‘nail their ass to the wall’

By Nika Shakhnazarova
June 28, 2023

Youtube star Shallon Lester vowed to pursue further legal action against Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, hoping to “nail their ass” for allegedly “defaming” in their Netflix documentary.

In their bombshell six-part series, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex implied that Lester was part of an online hate campaign against the couple.

A video clip from Lester’s Youtube account was highlighted in a montage where it was alleged 70 percent of 114,000 hateful posts directed at the couple came from 83 social media accounts.

She has since called the claims “a festival of bulls–t” in a YouTube video shared with fans Tuesday.

“Believe me when I say I’m pursuing every opportunity to nail their ass to the wall for this,” said Lester, who boasts over 346,000 subscribers on the platform.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry accused of 'ripping off' idea for new Netflix project
By Svar Nanan-Sen

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been accused of ripping off their latest idea for a Netflix project.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are working on a new project for Netflix titled Bad Manners.

The couple are looking to bounce back after Spotify dropped them earlier this month.

The Sussexes are working on a new show inspired by Charles Dickens' Great Expectations. Harry and Meghan are developing the show based on a feminist version of Miss Havisham from Dickens' famous novel according to the Wall Street Journal. However, the Sussexes' "feminist" prequel is almost identical to an adaptation made a decade ago, it has been claimed.  ...

Meghan and Harry 'believe they have been "repeatedly unlucky" and blame Covid, economic woes, the death of the Queen and the failing of Prince Philip's health for their faltering attempts to launch post-royal careers'

By Tom Pyman and Alison Boshoff

Published: 06:36 EDT, 1 July 2023 | Updated: 07:27 EDT, 1 July 2023

Meghan and Harry believe they have been 'repeatedly unlucky' and blame Covid, economic woes, the death of the Queen and the decline in Price Philip's health for their faltering attempts to launch post-royal careers, sources say.

The Duke and Duchess only have one major deal left since Megxit - the $100million contract signed with streaming giant Netflix - after they were embarrassingly ditched by Spotify last month.

Netflix is also reportedly planning not to renew their deal with the Sussexes when it expires in 2025.

However, the couple are said to be convinced that their apparent downfall has nothing to do with them, and instead feel they have been 'repeatedly unlucky' with other world events.

Attempts to launch themselves as global do-gooders, free to earn money once they had relieved themselves of royal duties, were severely impacted by the Covid pandemic, which followed within months of their Megxit announcement in January 2020.

Meghan Markle, Prince Harry officially vacate Frogmore Cottage after King Charles eviction
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left Frogmore Cottage behind after moving to the U.S. following their royal departure
By Lauryn Overhultz | Fox News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have officially vacated Frogmore Cottage years after leaving their senior roles within the royal family.

Harry, 38, and Markle, 41, were asked to vacate the royal abode so that Prince Andrew could reportedly move in. Frogmore Cottage, on the grounds of Windsor Castle west of London, had been intended as the couple’s main residence before they gave up royal duties and moved to Southern California.

The news of the cottage's vacancy was confirmed in the palace's annual Sovereign Grant report released Thursday.

The couple lived in Frogmore Cottage during their time as working royals. The cottage was renovated for $3.2 million, which Harry and Markle repaid in full shortly after finalizing their blockbuster Netflix deal in 2020.

After they left Britain, Prince Harry and Markle said Frogmore Cottage would remain their base when they visited the U.K.

It's unclear where the couple would stay if they were to visit the U.K. now. Prince Harry previously traveled to London in May, without Markle, for his father King Charles' coronation. He also made a trip across the pond in June, from their home in California, to take the stand at London’s High Court for his lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mirror.

We enjoyed our little hotel near Paddington Station on two visits to London, if Harry and Meg are interested. Breakfast is included.

I agree. And I don't even like Harry and Mehgan. That being said, the company I worked for had several upscale rental properties. The people that rented spent a boat load of money in many cases to upgrade to their preference. I never understood it...when they moved it was the property of the rental. Could be the same situation.

Exactly. The bitched and moaned about Frogmore and wanted it updated. When they left Royal duties there was a big uproar from the public and part of the agreement for them leaving was that they had to pay the money back.

Prince Harry may ‘turn his back’ on Meghan Markle’s Hollywood lifestyle: report

By Nika Shakhnazarova
July 7, 2023

Prince Harry may be looking to “turn his back” on Meghan Markle’s star-studded Hollywood lifestyle, according to a report.

The Duke of Sussex made his quest for privacy known ever since he and Markle officially stepped away from royal life in 2020.

And according to the Daily Mail, the exiled royal may now be looking to resume a subdued role following the axing of his wife’s Spotify podcast, “Archetypes.”

“The big question is how long before Harry turns his back on the showbusiness life, for which he is obviously ill-suited and seems entirely uncomfortable with?” Alison Boshoff wrote for the outlet.

What exactly is he well-suited for?  Having tell-all books written by ghost writers?

It does. I'm sure they're shocked at just how feeble of mind and body he is.

Video: King Charles Leads Confused Biden Around at Windsor Castle Ceremony

After a moment’s gesticulation and words exchanged, the King appeared able to get the President moving in the right direction once again.

President Joe Biden called in on King Charles III at Windsor Castle on Monday on his way to this week’s NATO summit, being treated to tea and talk on climate change.

The U.S. leader was met with a parade and band at Windsor Castle on Monday afternoon, the 950-year-old fortress which is a British Royal residence and the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. The Band of the Welsh Guards played the Star Spangled Banner and Biden inspected the troops with King Charles III.

Biden appeared transfixed for a moment when he received a traditional sword salute presenting of arms from an officer of the Guards at the end of one of the lines of soldiers in the guard of honour, leaving Britain’s King Charles having to work to regain the President’s attention. Appearing confused, or even consciously ignoring Charles III, Biden seemed to be trying to engage the guardsman in conversation.

After a moment’s gesticulation and spoken remarks, the King appeared able to get the President moving in the right direction once again. In a break of protocol, after being shepherded away, President Biden threw his arm around King Charles’ back.

Harry and Meghan ‘know they’ve gone too far’ in royal attacks: source

By Samantha Ibrahim
July 12, 2023

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world in 2020 when they decided to take a step back as “senior members” of the royal family.

Shortly after making the big #Megxit to Montecito, California, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a slew of projects where they disdainfully discussed their time in “The Firm.”

Royal expert Tom Bower now claims the former actress, 41, and the Invictus Games founder, 38, “know they’ve probably gone too far” with combative content after their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan” and Harry’s bombshell memoir “Spare.”

“All she’s got is the baggage of the Oprah Winfrey interview and her damnation of the royal family in various successive interviews,” Bower told OK! about Markle. “That’s why she’s been so quiet the whole year. She knows they’ve probably gone too far, and she doesn’t know how to get out of it now.”

I doubt Sparkle Farkel thinks or knows she went to far, those that habitually throw the race card never believe they are at fault for anything, especially when it comes to uppity White folk. And if she thinks keeping her yap closed for a few months will make it better? I am pretty sure the Royals and the Brits have a very long memory.

She seemed quite overwhelmed when they went back for the Queen's funeral ... as if she realized that she had really stepped in it by causing so much grief to someone who wass far more loved (as evidenced by the number who went to such great lengths to show their respect) than she will ever be. She had to go out in public in front of an incredibly massive crowd who she knew were aligned with the Queen and therefore despised her and her actions. It was also too late to change the publishing and distribution of Spare, or modify it's contents, so things could only get worse.  They've fouled their own nest with no one but themselves to blame.

Prince George already knows he will be king — here’s how he found out
By Jane Herz
July 13, 2023 2:50pm

It’s not easy being king — or a prince in training.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest son, Prince George, 9, is the next in line for the throne after his father.

But at such a young age, is he really aware of his royal duties?

In 2021, royal biographer Robert Lacey wrote in his book “Battle of Brothers” that King George allegedly learned about his future role in the summer of 2020, around his seventh birthday, per the Daily Mail.

And, according to a few palace insiders, the couple is currently “making George aware” of his future duties in “the best way they can” — making sure it’s not “too burdensome.”

“It’s a massive balancing act,” one palace insider recently divulged to People. “William and Kate are doing the right thing, protecting him so he can have as normal a childhood as possible, but he’s also dipping into duties as a future monarch.”

According to the outlet, the parents want to be able to give their kids as much of a normal childhood as possible, which includes “playing outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen and visiting the candy store.”

The source also alleged: “He’s getting firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a royal and a monarch and firsthand experience of being a normal boy.”

Harry, Meghan are ‘devastated’ by Emmy snub amid run of ‘bad luck’: royal expert
By Samantha Ibrahim
July 14, 2023 9:36am

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a comeback to Hollywood with their Netflix documentary series, “Harry & Meghan.”

Despite the show bringing in a total of 81.6 million hours watched, the project failed to score any Emmy nominations when they were announced earlier this week.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward recently claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are ‘devastated’ about being left out of the award show nods.

“But of course [the couple] will not show it,” the editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine told the Mirror.

She added that the viewership numbers were “obviously not good enough for an Emmy nomination.”

However, the series did emerge victorious by winning a nomination for the Hollywood Critics Awards in the Best Streaming Nonfiction category.

“In the series, Harry and Meghan talk about the royal family as if they were the enemy, while they themselves are trying to save the world,” Seward went on.

“The series is an intimate look at ‘hardships’ they faced in their honey-colored, rose-tinted world,” she said.

“Meghan and Harry will concentrate in this and make it a positive, however irritated they might be not to be in the Emmy nominations,” the “Queen’s Speech” author continued.

She then shared her advice for the former actress, 41, and the Invictus Games founder, 38.

“They are having a run of bad luck in their working life. But ironically as long as they concentrate on delivering personal stuff instead of more serious work, people will be interested,” she said. “They have built a gilded cage of expectation around themselves from which it will be hard to escape.”

They expected an Emmy nomination, just for being themselves?  What a sense of entitlement and privilege these two have!

Apparently. I'm expecting a Nobel prize any day now, just because I'm me.

You're everywhere I go, I am not alone
You call me as Your own to know You and be known.
You are holy!
And I fall down on my knees.
I can feel Your presence here with me.
Suddenly I'm lost within Your beauty,
Caught up in the wonder of Your touch.
Here in this moment I surrender to Your love.
