I think he wants it so bad he's about ready to bite on anything the Rats offer. Yet he couldn't agree to a couple of demands by the conservatives.

1. My friend Chip Roy said on the House floor yesterday that we were watching some great debate.  Really?  I didn’t hear any debate. There were a few very short sporadic statements. No debate. And lots of votes with the same result.

2. And he and the others in that group kept voting for someone who has said he’s not interested in being speaker, who nominated McCarthy, and voted repeatedly for McCarthy.  Sorry, brother Chip, that’s hardly some great lesson in representative government.

3. And you guys have no plan. The Democrats and media love it. And we, the people, are not impressed. In fact, I sense a backlash growing. This isn’t about McCarthy. It’s about Biden, open borders, the FBI, and all the rest. And nothing is getting done.

4. Let’s move off the mark now or all you guys might face primary challenges from real constitutional conservatives.
