Good...they just learned a lesson. Hopefully they'll eventually catch on also that liberalism doesn't work.

In a way, I can relate to them:
At 18, I voted for McGovern.
At 22, I voted for Carter.
Between the age of 22 and 26, I was in my first 4 years in the Army. By the election of 1980, I had been a platoon leader for 3 platoons, XO, and battalion staff officer, all in Germany.
My neighbors pleaded with me to vote for Carter, they were so sure that Reagan would start WWIII. Leading up to the election, we had discussions in the local gasthaus 2-3 times a week. My main premise was that the world was a safer place when America is strong, and that remains true 42 years later.
