On a positive note Republicans are taking the rest of the state wide offices including the first ever African American AG.
That is the good news for the commonwealth at least.
We’ll need Republicans in the other important positions in the State House if Beshear wins to keep him in check. IMHO it’s so close right now it’s gonna go to a runoff.
Scant info out there, but it looks like the Dems now own Virginia.No surprise though, the DC sprawl blob has finally taken over the state.
I think this a warning shot, don't put loser candidates on the ballot next year. To be honest, I don't know much about Bevin. I do know that he wasn't popular.
And there was a Libertarian in that race, Hicks, that got 2%. Probably thought he won a huge victory handing the race to the bat crazy Dem.

Looks like the Libertarian Party candidate hurt Bevin.
Kentucky didn't reject the GOP, it rejected Bevin. He must have been one hell of a poor candidate.
