I think it is telling that Cohen wasn't subpoenaed... he ""volunteered"" to undergo this grilling by Congressional aholes.  Who, that was already going to prison, would do that....?  Unless... they were promised certain favors .... for their so-called testimony.  It's an obvious quid pro quo setup by the rats.

And from what soundbites I've read (no, I'm not watching), there hasn't been much to glean. He admitted having no evidence of Russian collusion. He played the "Trump's a racist" card. His entire testimony comes off as a failed attempt to sell an exposé book, claiming to have lied for ten years for Trump but now he's somehow found a conscience and isn't lying now.

He's skirting as close as he can to lying, with unverifiable statements, without actually stepping into something that can be disproven.

The irony being, this will probably wind up helping Trump more than hurting,   perhaps Cohen even knows that.

Cohen is testifying that ALL that happened was done with the knowledge of Trump.

Inflating assets: Cohen Trump inflating assets. 

Asking Cohen if he worked with Dem majority.  Several times Cohen supposed couldn't hear question.

They can’t do anything to modify his sentence. The prosecutor for SDNY has been reluctant to offer a deal, based on his lack of cooperation. That would be up to Robert Khuzami, who handled his case, and he’s not a democrat.

Cohen is trying to 'lighten' his burden by doing what the rats asked him to do.  I'm sure that certain considerations will be made if he pleases the rats during this testimony.  But yeah, Cohen will skirt the line as much as possible. 

Jordan is making Cohen look like a fool.   Which is what he is.  Question is... why would Trump hire a fool for a personal lawyer...?

They can pull strings to get Cohen's time in prison made less harsh though.  Conversely... they can pull strings to make things very VERY bad for him there.

Cohen asks to take a break.  I think what is the most significant point is that Cohen brought in Ivanka, Jr., and Jared into the picture.  Sorry folks, I don't trust the Kushners.

Well, it’s a family business. Eric and Don Jr are the executives in charge, while it’s in trust. Ivanka stepped down, after she decided to become more involved in policy.
