The media made it seem like this was basically the end game for the Trump Presidency, meanwhile other than a payment to some dumb slut, there is basically nothing here?

Do I have this right?

that's about it...nothing really new..this is just orchestrated to embarrass Trump while in VN

Doesn't this sort of prove that Trump didn't collude? I would assume Cohen would know about it if he did, and he would surely blab it to Congress.

There’s bound to be some off the wall announcement from Trump to change the media focus. Don’t be shocked if he says the Korean War is over and US troops are coming home.

You mean announce something he and the NK and SK have been discussing for over a year???  THAT end to the Korean War?

Senator Ted Kennedy supposedly gave comfort to the Russians back in the day with his actions while Reagan was trying to bring peace and calm to that situation, I don't remember all the details like an expert but this is sort of the same thing, backstabbing our foreign policy, unconscionable.

Michael Cohen says that he has no evidence of Trump campaign colluding with Russia

10:51 AM - 27 Feb 2019

And if Trump had, he would assuredly know about it.

Two former FEC chairman said as much. No campaign finance violations here.

Besides, campaigns are fined all the time due to arcane campaign laws. Barack Obama had to pay substantial fines for violation of campaign finance laws and no one tried to impeach him.

IIRC the Obama campaign had to pay the largest penalty for a campaign ever.  And yet even with that it was still considered a civil and not a criminal matter.

   There were many question today that Cohen couldn't address because it was out of his scope which tells me Trump could compartmentalize, witch is a big surprise, but I'm not gonna assume there is 'no collusion' there, based on this flakes testimony.

How do you prove a negative then, in your opinion?

Bottom line, is,  nobody is going to change their mind based on the testimony today.

As with so many other issues today people will believe what they want to believe, facts & evidence, or lack of, be damned.

Sounds like the hearing was a big nothing burger.

@Weird Tolkienish Figure

I haven’t been watching Cohen, but for the past couple of days the rumor on Twitter is that Mueller has nothing on Trump.

I keep thinking you’re RoosGirl.

The Democrats are currently desperately trying to make this Cohen deal an earth-shattering event.

I just read that for the dinner in Vietnam,  they are serving Foie Gras.

That will probably generate more genuine outrage than this Cohen hearing.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone besides them ever thought much would come of it.

Yeah, THAT end, which hasn’t been done, since the condition behind it required full denuclearization, ahead of time. So, yes, let’s have another BS announcement like this one...

“Just landed - a long trip, but everybody can now feel much safer than the day I took office. There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea.”
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

Well he did admit he met with Schiff and one other Dem Congresscritter before his "testimony" today.

Ah yes, Adam Schiff  -  the one man who actually did collude with the Russians.

@QueenCatofAragon
@mystery-ak

The committee is hearing the final words of Cummings and it will be over - now, it is over.
There are five pages of comments here, mostly degrading Cohen.  That is what the Reps on the committee did, going over and over the fact Cohen lied.  His amount of lying is topped by Trump's thousands of lies and he keeps doing it day after day; lying is his life, making up what he wants to be true. That is fact.

I will believe Mueller's report as to who did what.  Until then, it is all speculation from both sides, each side calling the other one "criminal".  Certainly, Mueller has already indicted numerous people who are either going to prison or making other restitution for their crimes.

I thought the Republican, don't remember the name, putting out a twit before Cohn testified, threatening Cohn if he testified he would give info about affairs of Cohn to his wife, and asking would Cohn's wife still be waiting for him after he got out of prison, was disgusting and he needs to be reprimanded for doing that.

   This whole thing has been a $hit show, further demeaning the Office of the Presidency.

I took a few days off @Right_in_Virginia but way too many people are still sleeping with the enemy while wrapped up in a comforter of virtue.

Don't these NTers even see what's happening.  The democrats grabbed a little power and are now openly baby killing, open borders socialists and yet we have way too many people nit picking that they don't like the one man who can save us from that.

Wake me when it's over.  I can't stand it.
